Chapter 104: 104
After Azier convinced Adriana, she stopped being difficult and accepted the situation but she still found it hard to take her mind off Alpha Mitch.
When everyone was long asleep, she snuck out of her room and into the dungeon he was kept in. Her faulty limbs make it hard to sneak around.
The guard outside of the door was surprised to see her in the dead of the night.
"Open the doors". She ordered.
The guard looked at her like she had gone crazy and he did not move to open it.
"The Alpha had ordered we keep it closed, it’s dangerous to go inside". He said with a little difficulty. Trying to persuade her from going inside. Even as a guard he was scared to be alone inside with him. But she wants to go in without any fear.
"Open the damn door!" She said through gritted, careful not to make loud noise.
He hesitated and finally succumbed. He unlocked the door and stepped aside for her.
Inside the dungeon was very dark, still and surprisingly cold. She strained her eyes to see properly and stumbled towards the middle of the room where she was sure he was.
However, Alpha Mitch had been in a deep slumber before he heard the door open.
He didn’t move and only kept his ears open as his eyes were covered with the blindfold.
Adriana found and flicked on the light switch, although it had poor light she was glad for the brightness.
Her face broke into a grin at the state of the Alpha before her. Her eyes went over his appearance.
As she got closer, Alpha Mitch smelled her and recognised her. He relaxed a bit with the little discovery.
"Who would have thought such a day would come that you would be on your knees in front of me". Adriana said in a mocking tone that was accompanied by a chuckle.
Her heart clenched as she noticed the streaks of dried blood on his body, fresh and old wounds decorate his sculptured body.
But she reminded herself why things turned out that way.
"It must have hurt to be forced to your knees but that isn’t the end. I will find your little Omega and make sure he watches when you finally breathe your last breath. It would be very satisfying". She continued and traced a finger on his biceps.
Alpha Mitch let out a groan, and a low growl in warning. The sound reverberated in the room and that made her take a step back in fear.
Despite his current situation his mind hasn’t gone away from Tristan most of the time.
He wondered if he was doing fine.
Annoyed by the growl, she raised a hand and hit him across the face.
Shocking him and herself by the loud smack sound of the hit.
His face didn’t give any reaction to it and he only kept his face straight ahead.
"I am happy that this is what finally ends your pride Mitch, I wish you would rot in hell. You ignored and trampled on my self worth. I have nothing more to say, I will let Daddy end everything". She spat and walked out of the dungeon.
The guard was relieved to see her walk back out in whole and without any scratch. He breathed out in relief and locked the doors once more.
Meanwhile after the door locked, Alpha Mitch resumed what he had been doing alone in the dark.
Tugging hard on the chains on his wrists, he repeated the routine as he continuously felt them relax but one was certain. He has to be done before the day breaks or he would get caught and that would ruin all his work.

At the pack house, things took a sad turn after the Alpha was gone.
Everything became unstable and everyone was panicking that the pack was about to fall to its shambles.
Amidst the commotion, Mariah locked herself in her room and cried at the overwhelming sense of helplessness that had invaded her mind since the days before.
She was the only one remaining in the pack house, her brother and mother were gone, leaving her no one to lean on.
Someone suddenly knocked on her door and that made her wipe rapidly at her tears before she went to see who was there.
Boston was relieved as she opened the door.
"Can I come in?" He asked in an urgent voice, Mariah was flustered but still managed to move aside for him.
"What is it?" She asked with a little hesitation as the expression on his face made her nervous.
"We have a serious problem". He started in a strained voice.
"What is it?".
She was getting a bad feeling in the pit of her stomach.
"The pack elders are using this moment to demand another Alpha replace the Alpha. If the Alpha has an heir, this won’t happen but as it is you are the only one left from the lineage of the former Alpha". He explained as carefully as possible but still Mariah’s face darkened in anger.
"How dare they do that?! It is disgusting". She yelled and stormed out of her room.
Boston gasped in disbelief and it took him almost a minute to react and went after her.
Mariah matched towards the front of the pack house where a large crowd had grown, with the pack elders at the front.
Different voices echoed the same complaint and she scoffed as she listened to them.
"All of you should shut up now!" She yelled loud enough to cut through every sound that some were startled that such sound came from her mouth.
They all went quiet and looked at her with strange expressions and they began to murmur among themselves.
"The Alpha has been gone for just two days! And you already turn your back on him. Aren’t you ashamed?!" She yelled again, grabbing all of their attention.
"Let me warn all of you, as long as he is alive and healthy, no one replaces him without his consent!".
They all listened in a shocked silence.
"Most definitely". A voice said suddenly.
