"Since this is the first time that we’re working together, let’s introduce ourselves."
Even though I was technically the leader of the party, Amy took the role of introducing everyone to the new members.
At the same time, I could see that Aragon was also being passed over as the leader of their party and was letting Nimue do all of the introductions.
It had been a long time since we last met, but now we were finally working together.
Though the task that we were supposed to handle...wasn’t actually related to the demons.
It was a strange situation that we weren’t being called to handle demons, but there was no one else that could take care of this problem. After all, the thing that was troubling the people that we were saving was something that was far beyond what normal soldiers could handle.
For special soldiers to be deployed, it would take a while.
So the only thing that could be done was to deploy the hero team and the young high elf team.
They would be strong enough to handle this matter, or at least delay until someone more powerful would be available.
It wasn’t as if this was a bad thing since the thing that we were handling was a dragon.
It wasn’t a true blood dragon, they wouldn’t be crazy enough to send us to deal with something like that. The dragon that we were dealing with was only an impure blood dragon.
This was the kind that was still considered a powerful monster, but not powerful enough that it could destroy a nation on its own.
In fact, the report even said that this was a young impure blood dragon that was causing trouble here.
That was why it was perfect for the heroes and the young high elves to deal with.
Once everyone was introduced, we headed off to where the young impure blood dragon was spotted.
During this trip, the two groups bonded quite well.
After all, we would be fighting together in the future, so we had to get to know each other to know how to fight properly. If we were disjointed, then all we would be doing is getting in each other’s way.
Only by knowing how the other party fought would we know how to coordinate with each other.
But there was one thing that I avoided doing.
It was being alone with Aragon.

After spending some time together like this, we arrived at the town.
The first thing that I said after arriving was, "Let’s split up and see if we can find any clues."
We had already searched the town, but there wasn’t much that the people of the town could tell us. If they actually encountered the dragon, the first thing that they did was run away from it.
It wasn’t as if regular people would be able to do anything to the dragon, so it was only natural that they would run when encountering it.
It was in human nature to prioritize their own survival above all else.
Since there were no clues that could be gotten from this town, the only thing left to do was search for clues in other places.
That was why I suggested we split up.
"Wouldn’t it be hard for us to communicate what we found if we split up like this?"
That was the first objection that came and it was only right that they would have this objection.
But I just said, "Every single one of us wouldn’t struggle against an impure blood dragon on our own. We won’t be able to defeat it, but it’s easy for us to find it and come back to report on where it is. It won’t matter if we can’t communicate with each other, we just have to find it first and splitting up gives us the best chances."
As expected, they knitted their brows when they heard this.
However, I was prepared as I said, "The most important thing is finding this impure dragon as soon as possible. There’s no telling what it will do if we leave it out there for too long. If we don’t find it soon, it’s likely that it might even attack this town."
Everyone knitted their brows even more when they heard this, but it didn’t seem like anyone had an objection to this since they knew that I was right.
It was just that it was still hard for them to accept it.
But in the end, they had no choice but to accept it.
The most important thing was keeping the people of the town safe, so we all split up in search of the impure blood dragon.

The two of us met up while the others all went off in different directions.

We just didn’t want to do it in front of everyone else.
We wanted to find the impure blood dragon’s lair all on our own and take care of it.
After all, the impure blood dragon could be considered a treasure trove even though it had impure blood.
