Chapter 673 Marrying Her

Mu Anxiao watched Piao's beaming smile, thinking about his earlier instructions to the second maid, Rabbit. She said, "It's an exchange, isn't it? Tell me what you want, and I'll make you let him go."

"You care about him that much?" Piao asked.

Mu Anxiao nodded. "Yes, I do. I don't want to see you hurt him."

"Do you like him?" Piao looked at Mu Anxiao and asked.

Mu Anxiao detested such questions and even more so answering them, but considering Feng Qishi's life, she had no choice.

"I do," she replied directly.

Piao's eyes darkened.

Mu Anxiao saw the disappointment on Piao's face and asked, "Don't you not like me? Why the expression?"

"I don't like the you of now, I like the you of the past," Piao said, reaching out and gripping Mu Anxiao's shoulder. "Marry me."

"Marry..." Mu Anxiao repeated the word, smiling helplessly. "You say that so casually. And your words are so contradictory. You say you liked the past me one moment, and then you want to marry me the next. Are you alright?"

"I'm fine. If you agree to marry me, I'll let that fellow go. What do you say?" Piao proposed his condition.

Mu Anxiao had never imagined her wedding day, nor that she would meet an old acquaintance who had erased her memories and liked her. At this moment, everything felt unreal.

"Is this considered a condition?" she asked, trying to stay clear-headed.

"Yes," Piao nodded.

"Alright, as long as you don't kill that fellow, I'll agree," Mu Anxiao said, tilting her head to meet Piao's eyes.

"Come with me," Piao extended his hand.

"Why?" Mu Anxiao asked, confused.

"What else? To hold hands in front of the person you like, of course," Piao said bluntly.

Mu Anxiao curled her lips and took Piao's hand.

At the same time, Feng Qishi followed the second maid, Rabbit, to the bottom of the outdoor steps.

"Why did you bring me here?" Feng Qishi asked, standing behind the second maid, Rabbit.

The second maid, Rabbit, glanced at Feng Qishi and dared not speak. She walked up the steps and said, "I've brought him."

"Open the door," Piao said.

"Yes," the second maid, Rabbit, responded, gently pushing the door open.

Piao turned with Mu Anxiao towards the door.

Mu Anxiao looked up at Piao's triumphant profile, thinking: Surely he wouldn't tell Feng Qishi I like him. Oh dear, if he did, Feng Qishi would definitely mock me, and it would be so embarrassing.

Just as Mu Anxiao's worries began to rise, the door opened completely.

Piao said, "Let's go."

Mu Anxiao reluctantly hummed and walked out of the room with Piao.

The second maid, Rabbit, quickly stepped back.

Feng Qishi looked up at Mu Anxiao walking out, holding Piao's hand, and said with a darkening gaze, "Mu the idiot, what are you doing?"

"She has decided to marry me," Piao cut straight to the point.

Feng Qishi's lips twitched. "You're willing to marry her?" He pointed at Mu Anxiao.

"What do you mean by that?" Piao asked.

"She's so slovenly. How could a refined gentleman like you be interested in her?" Feng Qishi crossed his arms. "I don't believe it."

The moment Feng Qishi said that, Mu Anxiao rolled her eyes.

Piao glanced at Mu Anxiao, then turned back to Feng Qishi and asked, "Mu Anxiao, how does it feel to be spoken to like that by someone you like?"

Upon hearing this, Mu Anxiao bit her lip slightly and said, "It feels bad."

"Elaborate," Piao said gently, turning his head to look at Mu Anxiao.

Feng Qishi glanced at Mu Anxiao, then at Piao's back, and deliberately called out, "You like me," taking two steps forward. "Then I'm really unlucky."

Mu Anxiao bit her lip tightly.

Piao slowly turned to face Feng Qishi's arrogant expression and asked, "What do you mean by that?"

Feng Qishi put on a nonchalant act. "What else could I mean? I'm terribly unlucky to be liked by someone like her, this violent woman. Although, I saw it long ago that she liked me."

"You saw it long ago?" Piao retorted.

Feng Qishi sighed. "From the beginning, she was especially good to me. That made me uncomfortable. Afterwards... honestly, I was worried she'd confess her feelings, but," he smiled, "since she's agreed to marry you, I'm relieved. At least I won't have this fated misfortune."

"If you dislike her so much, why did you come?" Piao asked.

Feng Qishi looked at Mu Anxiao, who was lowering her head in silence. "I don't dislike her. I just think she's not my type. To put it simply, she's only suitable as a friend," he said, then looked back at Piao. "As for why I saved her, it's simple. She saved me before, and I wanted to repay her."

Piao stared at Feng Qishi's face for a few seconds, then suddenly smiled. "Compared to your past self, you're indeed less annoying."

"Is that so?" Feng Qishi smiled.

Mu Anxiao scratched her forehead, still silent.

"Yes," Piao nodded, then looked at the second maid, Rabbit, beside him. "Take him to the woodshed."

"Yes," the second maid, Rabbit, replied, stepping down from the stairs and approaching Feng Qishi.

"You're going to capture me?" Feng Qishi exclaimed in surprise.

"I was going to kill you, but she absolutely refused, so I'll spare you. It's not too late to leave after our wedding," Piao said.

"Then..." Feng Qishi cautiously glanced towards Mu Anxiao and said, "I am a guest, after all. Being sent to the woodshed might be a bit inappropriate."

"I don't like arguing," Piao stated.

"I..."

Just as Feng Qishi uttered one word, Mu Anxiao stepped forward. "It's already generous enough for you to be sent to the woodshed. Stop babbling."

"Mu the idiot, this is revenge," Feng Qishi pointed at Mu Anxiao.

Mu Anxiao nodded. "Yes, so what if I'm getting revenge?"

"Mu the idiot, you..."

"Go," Piao interrupted Feng Qishi.

Feng Qishi glared at Mu Anxiao and stepped forward, following the second maid, Rabbit, away.

After they had completely left, Mu Anxiao said angrily, "Why did you say I liked him? Are you crazy?" She shook Piao's hand away.

Piao looked down at his hand, which Mu Anxiao had just shaken off, and smiled. "Only by saying that can you give up."

"Pointless," Mu Anxiao said, turning and walking back into the room.

Piao sighed and followed her in. "Wait a moment. Go to the reception hall."

Hearing this, Mu Anxiao stopped by the table and turned to look at Piao, who was approaching her. "Where?"

"The reception hall," Piao said, stopping in front of Mu Anxiao.

Mu Anxiao looked down at her attire and said, "I don't want to see you kill Rabbit."
