Chapter 1963: Spiritless Klaus
‘Fuck!’
Grey never expected for such a scene to appear before him. The Seventh Prince of the Gnome Race was currently having a promiscuous encounter with another Gnome, and it was not a Lady Gnome, rather, it was a Gnome that looked to be around the age as the Seventh Prince himself.
With hesitation, Grey hurriedly stopped the mind control and opened his eyes back in True Dawn Faction grounds.
His expression darkened as soon as he opened his eyes. Even when he heard the Principal had been taken, he did not have this kind of reaction.
When the others saw his expression, Alice hurriedly asked, “What happened?”
Chris was also shocked by Grey’s sudden change of expression. When he saw Grey close his eyes a few seconds ago, he was curious as to what the former wanted to do. It had only been a second or two, yet he looked like someone who just watched someone kill his parents before his eyes.
Grey realized his reaction might have worried the others, so he waved and said, “It’s nothing. I just saw something I was not supposed to.”
Shaking his head, he looked at Klaus who has not had a change of expression since he heard his Father was taken. He did not blame him since he knew just how important the Principal was to Klaus. They were all they had, well, Klaus recently got married.
Reorganizing his state of mind, he asked his Teacher if they could lead them to somewhere where they could recuperate. Since the Gnome Races’ Seventh Prince was currently in the middle of that, the best he could do was wait for him to finish. There was no way he was going to control him while he was still in the act. Just the thought of it made him shiver. He had nothing against the Gnome Race Prince having such an intercourse with another member of the Gnome Race as he would have reacted the same way if it was a female member of the Gnome Race. It was just that since he himself had never had anything with a woman yet, he found such obscure scenes weird. He was not one that would spy on others any way, so he did not mind giving the Seventh Prince enough time to finish with what he was doing before going back to take control of him and complete what he had in mind.
With the Principal taken, he was sure they would take him back to the Gnome World. What he wanted to do was to use the Seventh Prince to search for the Principal and ensure that he was safe. Once he does that, he will think of his next course of action.
The Peak Sovereign Lady from True Dawn who had been giving him a strange look all this time was even more curious about him when she saw his change in reaction. She could tell that whatever he wanted to do was related to the person they were asking about, so how did he see something he should not have. She did not sense his Mental Sense spreading out, so she was sure he did not secretly spy on those in True Dawn Faction grounds. To be honest, given the small size of this place, it would be very easy for Grey to cover the entire place with his Mental Sense.
Looking at Grey weirdly, he nodded to Chris, allowing them to rest somewhere inside the Faction. She was also the one who gave them the permission to come into the Faction grounds while the Half God Plane Sovereigns were still dealing with the experts of the Gnome Race.
The group were led to an ordinary-looking house under the watchful gazes of those who were from True Dawn. Some of the people were whispering while the older ones wore ashen expressions. Those older ones knew just how important the place that was blown up was, and even though they were worried about the few people taken as well, this importance of the seal outweighed even the lives of the entire True Dawn as with it broken, the entire Human World would most definitely plunge into chaos and destruction.
When the group was led to the building, Reynolds and Grey tried to start a conversation with Klaus to see if they could get him out of his lost state, receiving no response whatsoever. Grey told the others to leave him be for the time being that he would think of something. There was nothing they could do right now that would make Klaus speak, so there was no point in wasting too much time. Of course during their period of recuperating, not just him, Alice, Reynolds, and Chris all tried to see if they could get Klaus to speak but to no avail.
An hour later, he felt he had given the Seventh Prince enough time. He could not stand watching Klaus remain in such a dazed state any further. If the Seventh Prince was still in the act, he would control him nevertheless and leave the Seventh Prince’s partner alone. Although he felt that way, he did not want to see that scene again. Luckily for him, when he tried to control the Seventh Prince again, he noticed the latter was alone in a bathtub. He mentally breathed a sigh of relief before hurriedly making the Seventh Prince dress up and rush out of his room.
This was not the first time he was controlling the Seventh Prince and was quite used to his mannerisms. When the Seventh Prince stepped out of his room, he found a guard outside, he asked in an imposing manner, “Has there been any news lately?”
The guard was taken aback by the Prince’s question and just stared at him, unresponsive with a dazed expression.
“What are you gawking about?” Grey, controlling the Seventh Prince, slapped the head of the guard to get him out of his shocked state.
The guard quickly responded, “None yet Your Highness.’
Snorting coldly, the Seventh Prince walked away.
The guard looked at the Seventh Prince strangely, “Why would he ask such a question even though we I’ve reported everything to him a while back?”
