Chapter 305: Chapter 318 Everything is Wrong
"No need... Oh right, Senior said he wants to treat us to dinner."
Lu Jinghan raised a hand to wipe away the tears from the corner of Han Xi’s eyes. "Yeah, I know. Go change your clothes quickly."
Han Xi got out of bed, took a set of clothes from the wardrobe to change into, and put on a little makeup before heading out with Lu Jinghan.
About twenty minutes later, the Maybach stopped in front of a restaurant, and as Han Xi walked in holding Lu Jinghan’s arm, Song Yan was already there.
Song Yan waved at them, "Over here."
The two walked over and sat in the chairs opposite Song Yan. "Sorry, Senior, there was a bit of traffic on the way."
"It’s fine." Song Yan handed the menu from the waiter to Han Xi. "See what you like to eat?"
Han Xi took the menu, ordered a few dishes she and Lu Jinghan liked. "Senior, what do you want to eat?"
"I’m fine with anything. Just order what you like." Song Yan gazed at Han Xi with eyes full of affection.
After ordering a few more dishes, Han Xi handed the menu to the waiter, then turned to Song Yan. "Senior, didn’t you have something to tell me?"
"Yes, I do have something to tell you."
Song Yan took a sip of the white water on the table, looking quite serious. "Xiao Xi, actually, Han Guanghong is not your biological father."
Suddenly, for a moment, Han Xi’s mind went blank, her hands on the table involuntarily twisted together. "Senior, are you joking?"
"I’m not joking. I’m your biological brother. The hairpin you have was a gift from Dad to Mom, designed especially for her; it’s one of a kind."
"Just based on that hairpin, you claim I’m your sister. Isn’t there some misunderstanding here?"
For more than thirty years, Han Guanghong had always played the role of a father in Han Xi’s life. Now suddenly someone tells her that everything before was wrong; she’s really struggling to accept it.
"Xiao Xi, I secretly took your hair for a DNA test before; we are indeed siblings, and you have no blood relation with Han Guanghong."
"This crisis with the Han Family was orchestrated by me. Mom was forced to jump off a building by Han Guanghong. I have to avenge this no matter what."
This news came too suddenly, and Han Xi didn’t know what to do for a moment.
Song Yan knew that this matter couldn’t be rushed and that he had to give Han Xi enough time to gradually accept it.
Lu Jinghan’s large palm tightly enveloped Han Xi’s slightly cold hand. Han Xi looked up at Lu Jinghan, "Senior, could you tell me about my mom’s past?"
Just as she finished speaking, the waiter brought the dishes to the table. Song Yan helped Han Xi with some food and told her everything he knew.
By the end of the meal, Han Xi hadn’t eaten much, her mind as chaotic as a ball of yarn in disarray.
"Xiao Xi, do you hate Dad?" Song Yan tentatively asked.
Han Xi’s hand holding the cup gradually tightened, with an indescribable feeling in her heart, "I don’t know."
"Alright, I’ll take her home first and give her some time."
Lu Jinghan wrapped his arm around Han Xi, stood up from the chair, took her bag, and walked toward the exit.
"Xiao Xi, I’m telling you this just so I can protect you well in the future. Don’t feel pressured."
Han Xi nodded to Song Yan and then left with Lu Jinghan.
In the corner of the restaurant, Han Yaxin turned her head with a cold expression, having heard every word of the recent conversation without missing a beat.
