Li Manman just stepped out of the elevator and saw Li Chenghao standing by the hospital room’s door. She followed his gaze, curled her lips into a sneer, and said, "Those two lovebirds celebrating their survival, you like watching this kind of thing?"
Hearing her voice, Li Chenghao turned around, pulled out the cigarette box from his pocket, took one out, and lit it, "I’m finally starting to understand Han Siyu a bit because right now, I wish I could kill Lu Jinghan."

Hearing Li Manman’s voice, Han Xi buried herself entirely in Lu Jinghan’s arms, wishing she could find a crack to hide in.
Lu Jinghan, however, calmly pulled Han Xi into his embrace, "I have restraint, I kissed very lightly."

Li Manman said slowly, finding a vase for the large bouquet of lilies in her hand.
Lu Jinghan lifted his hand to pinch his brow. Li Manman really knew how to follow up a conversation. To prevent Han Xi from feeling too embarrassed, Lu Jinghan could only change the subject, "Help me take care of Xiao Xi. I’m going out for a smoke."
"Okay." Li Manman replied readily while fiddling with the flowers.
Lu Jinghan laid Han Xi back in bed and tucked her in, "I’ll head out first."
Han Xi nodded, "Then come back soon."
"Mm."
After Lu Jinghan left, Li Manman raised her eyebrows and looked at Han Xi, "You might as well stick with him; he’s just going out for a smoke, yet you’re so reluctant."
Han Xi blushed and glared at Li Manman, "Can you be kind and stop teasing me? I’m still a patient."
"Ha, you still remember you’re a patient, huh? Weren’t you kissing passionately just now?"
Li Manman’s words were harsh... truly showing no mercy even to close ones.
Lu Jinghan didn’t come out just to smoke; Han Xi hadn’t mentioned a word about yesterday’s events yet. Since that girl doesn’t want to say anything, he could only go ask Han Siyu.
After Lu Jinghan left the hospital room, Jiang Dachuan whispered a few words in his ear. Lu Jinghan just nodded solemnly, said nothing, and got into the elevator.
Inside the intensive care unit, Han Siyu had just woken up, and the doctors were examining her. Seeing Li Chenghao, Han Siyu covered her face emotionally, "Make him leave, I don’t want to see him."
