Chapter 232: Chapter 238: Stop Accusing People.
Han Xi didn’t know why she felt so jealous, but every time she saw another woman trying to cozy up to Lu Jinghan, she just got angry and furious.
Lu Jinghan’s large hand slid under the blanket, his distinctly jointed fingers spreading open Han Xi’s palm, interlocking their fingers tightly.
Han Xi struggled a bit, but the more she struggled, the tighter Lu Jinghan held her: "Alright, don’t be mad anymore. We can’t just throw her off the plane now, can we?"
Lu Jinghan switched hands to hold Han Xi’s small hand, then pulled his feisty little wife into his arms: "In my eyes and heart, there’s only Mrs. Lu."
Hearing Lu Jinghan’s sweet words, a smile finally spread across Han Xi’s beautiful brow.
.......
Over five hours later, the plane landed at the airport. By now, An City was dazzling with lights, and a light drizzle floated in the sky.
Lu Jinghan took off his coat and draped it over Han Xi, instructing Xiao Zhang to fire Su Luo before getting into the car.
Xiao Zhang nodded with a bewildered look on his face, not knowing how Su Luo had offended their boss to be suddenly dismissed like this.
By the time they got home, Sister Zhang had already prepared dinner, having known they were coming back today. She had gone to the supermarket early to buy lots of ingredients that Han Xi loved.
Han Xi and Lu Jinghan went upstairs to change into their home clothes, then came downstairs together for dinner.
Sitting across from each other at the dining table, Lu Jinghan handed Han Xi a new phone: "I’ve already replaced your previous SIM card."
Han Xi took the phone, suddenly remembering something: "By the way, Chen Zheng and Jiang Dachuan are alright, aren’t they?"
"They’re fine, don’t worry." Lu Jinghan placed a piece of steamed bass on Han Xi’s plate.
Han Xi was reassured now, glad that they were alright.
However, Han Xi never once asked Lu Jinghan how he dealt with Li Chenghao.
Actually, her feelings for Li Chenghao were akin to willow catkins, blown away by the wind four years ago.
After dinner, Lu Jinghan went to the study to handle some work, while Han Xi leaned on the living room sofa watching dramas. She didn’t know how long had passed when sleepiness crept in, and she fell asleep groggily.
When Lu Jinghan finished his work and came out from the study, he saw Han Xi curled up asleep on the sofa, frowning as he pulled her into his arms: "Silly girl, aren’t you afraid of catching a chill?"
Lu Jinghan murmured self-reproachfully as he took Han Xi in his arms, striding towards the stairs.
Han Xi wasn’t fully asleep. Feeling someone pick her up, she smiled slightly, opened her eyes, and gave a light kiss on a certain someone’s thin lips.
"Are you trying to seduce me, hmm?"
Lu Jinghan looked down at the woman in his arms, lazily like a kitten, his swirling eyes tinted with desire.
Han Xi’s small hands clung tightly to Lu Jinghan’s neck, her soft hair cascading down her back: "You’re wrongly accusing me; how could I be seducing you?"
Han Xi’s soft voice, raspy due to just waking up, was a deadly temptation to Lu Jinghan.
"Then let me seduce Mrs. Lu instead."
