Chapter 230: Chapter 236: Almost Got My Internal Organs Displaced from a Beating
"I’ve already ordered food for you." Lu Jinghan affectionately pinched Han Xi’s cheek.
Just as he finished speaking, the doorbell rang: "Maybe it’s the waiter delivering the food." Lu Jinghan stood up from the sofa and walked towards the door.
When the door opened, Fu Bin and Feng Yi entered with bright smiles but were stopped by Lu Jinghan’s frown: "What’s up?"
"Nothing much, what’s wrong?" Fu Bin took a drag on his cigarette with a lazy and casual demeanor.
"If it’s nothing, then just leave."
Feng Yi gave a knowing look with a somewhat mischievous smile: "Did we interrupt something between you and Little Sister-in-law?"
"Take it easy, indulging too much isn’t good for your health." Fu Bin earnestly patted Lu Jinghan’s shoulder.
"Get lost."
Seeing a certain someone’s expression darken, Feng Yi and Fu Bin quickly scurried away.
Lu Jinghan closed the door and returned to the living room, where Han Xi was leaning against him completely: "Wasn’t it the food delivery?"
"No, it was Feng Yi and Fu Bin."
Han Xi let out an "oh," blushing slightly as she snuggled into Lu Jinghan’s embrace. Thank goodness they didn’t come in, or she’d be too embarrassed to show herself dressed like this.
"Jing Han, when are we going home?" Han Xi didn’t really want to stay here.
"We’ll go back at noon."
Yesterday at the chapel, Lu Jinghan clearly remembered Han Xi saying she wanted to go home.
Loving someone means keeping every word they say in your heart.
After eating, Lu Jinghan handed Han Xi the clothes that assistant Xiao Zhang had previously bought from the mall: "Change into these clothes, we’ll go to the airport soon."
"Okay," Han Xi took the bag and went to the bedroom to change.
After changing, Han Xi tied her hair up high and came out of the bedroom: "Let’s go."
Lu Jinghan smiled softly as he walked to Han Xi’s side, wrapping her small, soft hand in his palm before heading to the door.
In the hotel lobby, Fu Bin and assistant Xiao Zhang had been waiting for a while. Seeing the two of them come out, Fu Bin stubbed out his cigarette and stood up nonchalantly from the sofa: "Little Sister-in-law looks much better, is it because this guy’s been taking good care of her?"
Han Xi’s face turned crimson, so red that it looked like it could bleed; Fu Bin’s mouth really had no taboos, there was nothing he wouldn’t blurt out.
Lu Jinghan gave Fu Bin a stern look: "Have you had enough of living comfortably?"
Fu Bin shrugged with an innocent expression: "I was just speaking from the heart."
Lu Jinghan punched Fu Bin in the chest: "Your mouth really deserves a punch."
"You really hit me, that hurts...."
Fu Bin nearly felt his insides shift from the punch, complaining as he caught up with Lu Jinghan.
The assistant Xiao Zhang stifled a laugh from behind, thinking, you really asked for it, blurting out whatever came to mind.
A luxury business car was parked at the hotel entrance; everyone got in, with assistant Xiao Zhang in the passenger seat instructing the driver to head to the airport.
"Why isn’t Feng Yi coming with us?" Han Xi asked, looking up.
"He’s staying here to handle work; we’re going back first."
Han Xi nodded in understanding and then leaned against Lu Jinghan’s shoulder for a little nap.
Over half an hour later, the business car stopped at the airport. Han Xi and Fu Bin had come in such a hurry that they hadn’t brought any luggage, only Lu Jinghan and Xiao Zhang had two suitcases.
