Freeze Beam!
Bai Ye ran rapidly down the corridor, pursued by a large white bird resembling a seagull.
The white bird opened its beak, and a silvery-white beam shot out from its mouth towards Bai Ye.

The sound of ice forming echoed continuously. Where the beam passed, frost quickly condensed, freezing everything in its path.

Bai Ye silently gripped the hilt of his Zanpakuto and stepped into the room.
As Bai Ye walked forward, his soles brushed against strands of blood, for the room was filled with blood and corpses!
The corpses had similar causes of death, most having been pierced through the chest with something sharp. Some of the bodies were incomplete, showing clear signs of being gnawed.
Without a doubt, these were likely the work of Xenomorphs.
However, after surveying the surroundings, Bai Ye found no signs of Xenomorph activity. It seemed they had already left after the killings.
Bai Ye thought this as he moved to the other end of the room.
The door was blocked by a corpse, which sat slumped against it.
Without a second thought, Bai Ye raised his foot to kick the corpse aside. Just then, a bulge suddenly appeared on the corpse's chest, swelling visibly like a balloon.
This sudden turn of events startled Bai Ye, and his foot remained suspended in mid-air.

With a *poof!*
The corpse's chest suddenly split open, spewing a large amount of blood mixed with foul-smelling, greenish-yellow fluid.
A Xenomorph, about an arm's length, suddenly burst from the corpse's chest and hurtled towards Bai Ye.
Bai Ye reacted with lightning speed, leaping to the side. The small Xenomorph grazed Bai Ye's chest and slammed into the wall.

With a *whoosh*, the small Xenomorph's head was severed, its entire head cleanly cut off by Bai Ye's blade.
The headless small Xenomorph continued to twitch on the ground for a while before gradually ceasing its movements and finally dying.
While Xenomorphs were known for their tenacious vitality, this small Xenomorph was clearly a newly hatched one. Its vitality, however tenacious, had its limits.

Facehuggers were the larval stage used by Xenomorphs for reproduction.
In reality, Xenomorph eggs did not contain Xenomorphs themselves, but rather facehuggers. Xenomorphs did not hatch directly from eggs; instead, facehuggers hatched, sought out other life forms, and parasitized them. After a certain period, the facehugger would die, and the juvenile Xenomorph would emerge from within the host, draining its life force. After gaining nourishment, it would burst from the chest.
The Xenomorphs in Mission Three of the Forbidden Zone were Xenomorphs that had been parasitized by facehuggers, thus giving birth to Xenomorphs.
Therefore, Bai Ye had anticipated that Xenomorphs would nest and lay eggs in the research team's base, but even with the anticipation, he still felt a headache when it actually happened.
One Xenomorph was one thing; a swarm of Xenomorphs was an entirely different matter.

Bai Ye looked up and saw that it was a Predator, and he immediately understood. The Predator and the Xenomorph must have been fighting in the room, and he had just stumbled into the middle of it.
However, what was the meaning of this leaping stab with a dagger?
He was still pinned beneath the Xenomorph…
