Chapter 354: Will he come or not?
"Wait. Wait. I am assuming you also want to meet that madman? He has been training nonstop now for many days. He is in Haku City’s advanced training center. Aurex is also there. I can get both of them if you want?"
He trailed after Aiden with greasy fingers and a crooked grin, clearly trying to lighten the mood, but the sharp weight of Aiden’s silence pressed against him like a blade at his throat.
"I don’t need you to get them," Aiden finally replied. "They should already be well on their way. Not everyone ignores their messages, and not everyone has the luxury of wasting time."
"Okay. Okay. Enough about it already. Next time, I will keep checking my messages even on my off days." Magicaa rolled his eyes as he continued to casually walk.
They walked all the way to the outskirts of the city when Aiden opened up a portal. The skill was different compared to Blood Gate, but it did the job nonetheless.
Within a second, Aiden and Magicaa had arrived at the destination. To Magicaa’s surprise, it was a vast stretch of grassy plains. The plains stretched endlessly before them, swaying with tall grasses. It was the kind of place that did not leave any particular hiding spots.
Magicaa frowned. "Are you sure you want us here? I thought you wanted your involvement with us to be kept under wraps? Something changed now?"
Aiden did not answer.
Magicaa could only sigh in exasperation. "It is not a good sign for a leader to keep everything to himself. You need to voice out your thoughts once in a while. Otherwise, how would I know what to speak and what not to speak?"
"How about you let me do all the talking?" Aiden bluntly cut him off.
Magicaa just gave up. He did not bother reasoning with this madman anymore. He pulled his robe and his hood properly, making sure that no part of his face was visible from the outside.
But who knew, his effort could very well be useless. That bastard was that type of person. He probably. No. Most definitely had some sort of inspection skill that allowed him to see through even if the other party had everything covered.
Magicaa gritted his teeth. He hated that damned bastard to the core. Fucking Blood God. The dude had simply popped out of nowhere and was now pretty much ruling the game. Shouldn’t it be them, the fucking super ten ruling this damn game?
As he silently cursed the bastard of the hour several times under his breath, the other members of the party soon arrived. To Magicaa’s surprise, other than Aurex and that madman, there seemed to be two other figures.
Naturally, all of them were also fully covered up, not revealing a single bit of their identity. Even their weapons were concealed. Unless and untill a fight broke out nothing at all would be revealed about them.
But Magicaa knew that these guys also had to be top-tier. By top-tier, he meant the absolute top rank players which no one even knew existed. For a moment, he thought of a scenario and his grin widened.
How wonderful it would be if a fight actually broke out here?
Everyone here was a powerful big hitter. That guy would be gang banged and tossed like a cum dump.
Him, Aurex and that madman were all pretty much on the same boat. They were all itching to fight with that bastard just one more time. During the purification raid, that bastard managed to slip through their fingers using underhanded methods.
If it was not for those shitty weak ass paladins and priests, they wouldn’t have lost the fight at all. But now all three of them had lost to him. Not to mention, they had also lost a precious resource because of him which had put them back quite a bit.
Magicaa sneakily glanced at the madman who was standing near him. The guy’s entire body was trembling from top to bottom, in anger and rage no doubt.
Madman was a training maniac. There wasn’t much he cared about but he was extremely proud of that mutated draconic beast. Blood God should have never killed that thing. Now that he had this madman was not going to leave him alone no matter which world he ran away to in this vast multiverse.
Magicaa chuckled. The poor chap probably did not even know that a multiverse exists and there were actually several billions of worlds other than theirs. The idiot was dancing like a cheap hooker showing off his tits to everyone without knowing what awaits him in the future.
Time ticked by and soon more than an hour had passed by. Everyone stood still like statues but Magicaa was starting to get impatient. Did that bastard finally get a brain and cancel this meeting? Under all that confidence and arrogance, there was an actual brain?
"I doubt it." He scoffed as he looked at the lone figure in the distance.
A man was walking towards them. Just like them, he was also fully covered but unlike them he hung his nickname proudly around him.
Blood God!
The damn bastard had actually dared to walk in alone and single without any fear!
Was this courage or foolishness?
Magicaa grinned. He did not care. The idiot was here and that was all that mattered. Today he was going to get fucking wrecked. He turned to sneak another glance at madman who was barely controlling himself.
Aurex’s grip whitened around the hilt of his weapon beneath his cloak. The two hidden figures remained silent and unreadable, but their subtle shifts betrayed they were ready to strike at a single misstep.
It was going to be a fucking celebration today! The mother fucker was going to get screwed every which way!
However, before any of them could make a move, Aiden’s voice cut through, loud and clear. "I will be the only one doing the talking today. I suggest you all stand still until I say so."
