Chapter 809 Moving Out

Chapter 809: 809 Moving Out

Other teachers were still a bit skeptical, but after seeing Su Yuanyuan’s paper, they all shut up.

"Can language really get a perfect score?"

Some people still doubted it, after all, this isn’t math where right is right; language can be interpreted in many ways.

"I just think she deserves a perfect score. I’ve never seen such an outstanding student. I believe only someone with a pure mind can achieve this."

Everyone fell silent. This was the expertise of their teacher; if he thought it was a perfect score worthy of excellence, then it truly was.

All the teachers knew that this group was going abroad, so they didn’t actually need them for translation. They just didn’t want them to be deceived by language barriers. Besides, talent is always needed, though it might be uncertain when.

It was already May. They were about to graduate soon, and there were rewards in place; the top three would continue their studies.

Su Yuanyuan didn’t mind. She thought that learning more wasn’t a bad idea, and having something to do would prevent boredom.

The pharmaceutical factory had already started production. The four of them were very busy every day; there was no choice since everything was starting anew. They were also learning, hoping everything would proceed smoothly.

Zeng Hongling was already four months pregnant. With fewer clothes on, it was beginning to show.

"Yuanyuan, do you not have a holiday?"

"No, but the graduation’s coming soon."

"That’s good to hear. By the way, the house is sorted out, and we’ve decided to move. We’ve stayed at your place for so long already."

In the past, with no house, staying at a friend’s place was fine, but now that they had their own place, they felt bad staying with someone else.

"Okay, after the exam, we have two days off. I’ll help you out." Relying on them was impossible; they were all very busy.

"The other three think we should stay together. That way, we’d meet every day. It doesn’t make sense for me to cook for them, and when my belly becomes too big, I’ll hire someone to help cook."

Yuanyuan nodded, "That’s fine too." Indeed, with the four now separated, they only came together over meals to discuss matters.

She didn’t persuade them to stay, considering that with them around, Su Yuanyuan hadn’t entered her space for a long time. Life was indeed inconvenient.

"Yuanyuan, I’m telling you, you should come over to have meals with us in the future."

"We’ll see about that. I don’t know how things will be arranged yet. If I do continue my studies, I’d eat at the cafeteria. If not, I plan to head to the seaside, so there’s no need to worry about me."

"How could I not worry?" Zeng Hongling rolled her eyes at Su Yuanyuan.

This period had been extremely busy, and Zeng Hongling didn’t have the nerve to mention it. Though not as independent as Su Yuanyuan, she tackled what she could by herself, never bothering others for help.

Three days later, they held an examination, with four examiners this time, showing the importance they placed on it.

Su Yuanyuan submitted her paper early, with the oral exam still to come.

For the oral exam, there were four examiners, requiring her to recite a passage, explain its meaning, and perform an impromptu roleplay in a foreign language.

After finishing the exam, they were given a two-day holiday before collecting their results.

Su Yuanyuan was the first to leave and went straight home.

The teachers got busy grading. They were all very satisfied with this batch of students.

"That Su Yuanyuan is truly outstanding, no wonder Old Hu praised her."

The oral exam and the written test both scored perfect marks, leaving no room for criticism.

If asked, Su Yuanyuan would say she was just average, not out of modesty, but because she relied on good memory and past experience in foreign language studies.

The high scores she received were likely due to the teachers’ favoritism.

Back home, the two girls started organizing. To be honest, they had a lot of stuff; it would take about two trucks to move it all.

But the move would be tomorrow, and everything was to be packed today.

That evening, they informed the others of the move, making the four men feel a bit embarrassed.

Yang Liulang saw that his wife had arranged everything and held her that night, saying, "You don’t need to do this; you still have me."

"It’s fine, it’s not too heavy. Yuanyuan came back early today, so I tidied up the house. Tomorrow, we’ll move the stuff by ourselves.

I know you guys are busy, so I do what I can on my own."

Yang Liulang mused, "Truly, my wife is extraordinary in every way."

The next day, the four went to work, while Su Yuanyuan and the other two started packing the vehicles, with most of the items belonging to Zeng Hongling and her husband.

It took the two of them an entire day to set everything up.

Zhan Yunzhao and the other two had only packed their belongings and clothes in the morning, which were quite simple.

That night, they were going their separate ways after dinner, each heading back home.

That evening, only Su Yuanyuan was left at home, so she directly entered her space.

After not resting in there for such a long time, it felt incredibly comfortable.

The next day, she didn’t leave at all, staying alone in her space.

Zeng Hongling didn’t come over, afraid of disturbing Su Yuanyuan, allowing her time to properly rest.

The morning after that, Su Yuanyuan cycled to school. Many students had already arrived, as the moment to decide their future had come. Even though it was just a training, it truly determined their overseas positions, essentially deciding what they’d do upon return. Could this not be considered a decisive moment?

Qin Zhiyuan chatted with Su Yuanyuan, "How are you? Not nervous at all?"

"What’s there to be nervous about? I’m indifferent; competing with them doesn’t mean much to me."

To others, this sounded like arrogance from Su Yuanyuan. But Qin Zhiyuan understood what she meant.

She could pass even without learning anything, and her assignments wouldn’t be decided by her grades. Competing with these people was indeed pointless.

The teacher came into the classroom as expressionless as ever, not announcing the results but instead distributing them for everyone to see.

"The final decision is for Su Yuanyuan, Qin Zhiyuan, and Song Qingshan to stay for further studies."

Everyone had an idea already; these three were indeed the best. Jealousy was futile as the gap was simply too wide.

Being together and studying for several months, the idea of parting was sad, but they knew this batch would all go abroad together.

Su Yuanyuan and the other two would continue attending classes starting tomorrow, for a duration of one month.

This timeframe was acceptable for Su Yuanyuan; any longer would be out of the question as it shouldn’t interfere with her seaside plans.
