Chapter 359: Chapter 359: To Break Away from the Morgan Family 9
Chloe Grant and Zoe Graham’s seats in the library were right by the large glass window, with plenty of sunlight, perfect for quietly reading books.
It was precisely this seat that was directly in line with the stone bench outside.
And the person who had been tailing them since they left the dorm naturally sat in the chair, allowing a clear view of Chloe Grant.
When she studied, she was so absorbed that she ignored everything around her.
It was just like when she played games.
This girl has been like this since she was little, fully committed to anything she was interested in.
"The grand president of the Morgan Group, Grandpa Morgan of the Imperial City, actually tailing a little girl, like a peeping tom. Tsk tsk tsk, if this news gets out, wouldn’t it be explosive?"
A shadow appeared next to the chair. Ralph Koch leaned in close to Matthew Morgan, a strange smile on his face.
At this moment, Matthew Morgan had already taken off his work uniform, dressed like a university student, in a black tracksuit, paired with a white T-shirt, a baseball cap, and a black mask.
Passersby would give him a couple of extra glances, but they only thought of him as someone outstanding-looking from the school.
No one would associate him with such a legendary, untouchable figure.
Matthew Morgan gave Ralph Koch a cold look and continued watching Chloe Grant study, not bothering to respond.
Ralph Koch leaned back against the chair, crossing his legs, with a somewhat roguish posture.
He glanced at Chloe Grant and then at Matthew Morgan next to him, pursing his lips.
"I’ve said it many times. With a girl like her, either possess her or destroy her, why torment yourself like this? Look, you’re clearly paving the way to be with her and Lucas Morgan, yet it seems like you want to ruin her home, making her hate you to the point of madness."
"I don’t believe it. If you told her everything you’ve done for her and given up for her over the years, wouldn’t she be moved? Wouldn’t she cry her heart out, then fall into your arms?"
Ralph Koch was very frustrated.
He could be said to be the only one who truly understood all that Matthew Morgan had done and sacrificed for Chloe Grant.
He was also the most indignant on behalf of Matthew Morgan.
"Do you really understand?" Matthew Morgan turned his head, speaking coldly, "If that really happens, to her, it would be nothing more than a heavy shackle."
Matthew Morgan stood up, hands in pockets, "As long as the other person doesn’t love you, all your efforts are a burden to them."
He started walking forward.
Ralph Koch couldn’t understand, "Are you really going to keep going on like this?"
He caught up to Matthew Morgan, "You’re clearly madly in love with her, yet you’re giving her up to someone else. Are you truly okay with that?"
"As long as she’s happy, I don’t care."
"Matthew Morgan, you truly live up to your name, you really are a love saint!"
Ralph Koch stopped, his face turning livid with anger.
Matthew Morgan did not stop because of his reaction, continuing to walk away without looking back.
Along the way, some schoolgirls even came to flirt, asking for his contact information.
Matthew Morgan didn’t even spare a glance, directly ignoring them, leaving the girls feeling heartbroken and disappointed.
Ralph Koch turned around, looking at Chloe Grant, who was still studying in the library.
He put his hands on his hips, pacing back and forth in that area.
This girl is so oblivious!
Continuing like this, Matthew Morgan definitely won’t get anywhere with her.
He needed to come up with a plan!
Ralph Koch stopped walking, looking at Chloe Grant, who was clueless inside through the glass window.
He really wanted to just pull out a gun and shoot the people inside with a single bullet!
