Chapter 323: Throw Her onto the Bed

Chapter 323: Chapter 323: Throw Her onto the Bed

The bedroom door remained still, and Summer Sutton still hadn’t returned to the room.

Adrian Walyon even suspected she had fallen asleep in the guest room.

At half past twelve, Adrian couldn’t hold back any longer.

With a stern face, he shouted roughly toward the room where Summer Sutton was, "Summer Sutton, get over here immediately within five minutes!"

There were only the two of them in Morning Garden, very quiet.

His shout seemed to be amplified countless times.

Summer Sutton had already been asleep for over an hour, only to be abruptly awakened by his yelling.

Slightly disoriented about the situation, her sleepy head was still not clear when Adrian’s low shout came again from the balcony, "Summer Sutton!"

Summer Sutton gave a shiver from his yell, her legs reacting faster than her brain.

Without fully understanding what was happening, clutching the sheets, her legs automatically moved toward the room’s door and out.

She hurried to the bedroom door, pushed it open, and walked in.

Having been awakened from sleep by a shout, her long hair was messy, and her eyes sleepy.

With drowsy eyes, she stared blankly at him, not understanding what play he was enacting in the middle of the night.

"What’s wrong?"

Adrian looked at her briefly, explained nothing, and strode towards her, picking her up and throwing her onto the bed.

His actions were rough, and Summer Sutton, like a sack, was really tossed onto the bed by him.

Lying stiffly on the bed, looking at his angry expression, Summer Sutton touched her nose, feeling a bit innocent.

Adrian’s tall body followed onto the bed, said nothing, nor touched her, just pulled her into his arms and closed his eyes.

Their sleeping posture was the same as usual, the difference tonight being the mood lying on one bed.

The room was already completely dark.

Summer Sutton couldn’t see the expression on his face, but just leaning against him, feeling his warmth, she could tell his anger had somewhat diminished.

The night passed as the two embraced each other in sleep.

The next day, Summer Sutton was the first to wake up.

She got up a bit early and went downstairs to start preparing breakfast.

Today’s breakfast was entirely according to Adrian Walyon’s preferences.

His preferences, she hadn’t deliberately tried to remember them but somehow unknowingly knew them all clearly.

When Adrian came downstairs, smelling the fragrant porridge from the kitchen, his gaze drifted towards her direction.

Watching her busy figure between the dining room and kitchen, his facial features softened slightly.

Summer didn’t have to go to school today, and she prepared a rich breakfast with many kinds of side dishes, though each in small portions.

Adrian sat at the dining table, staring at the dishes for a moment, seemingly a bit stunned.

Summer Sutton sat down next to him, and before starting the meal, she couldn’t help but look at him.

She observed his reaction, wanting to know if his anger had dissipated.

Even though the nature of their marriage didn’t require them to care too much about each other, if they could continue this marriage harmoniously, both would be happy with ease.

Adrian didn’t speak during breakfast, quietly finishing his meal, and then handled work matters at home.

Summer Sutton stood not far away, her gaze couldn’t help but drift towards him again and again.

After watching him for a while, during a moment of his break, she slowly walked over and proactively sat close to him.

"There are some professional things I don’t quite understand, could you teach me?" she asked tentatively, handing him her book.
