Chapter 1761: Chapter 1761: What Are Your Plans
(Part 9)
After leaving the Yang Family Old House, Luo Ziling went to the Dragon Rise sanatorium.
Yang Qingyin sent him out and then returned to the old house. She planned to have dinner there today. During dinner, Yang Yunlin and Chen Qiaoyu would come over, and Yang Qingyin intended to bring up Luo Ziling in the conversation with her parents.
With Yang Yuanshan’s recent implications, Yang Qingyin didn’t want to miss the opportunity to elevate Luo Ziling’s status in the eyes of the Yang Family.
After Luo Ziling left the Yang Family Old House, the person sent by the Phoenix Sect was waiting nearby.
The person sent to pick up Luo Ziling was an old acquaintance, Shanque.
Luo Ziling got into Shanque’s car and had Yang Xiaodong drive behind them.
Once in the car, Luo Ziling directly asked Shanque what the current situation was.
“Are you asking about Kong Que’s injury or something else?” Shanque looked at Luo Ziling oddly, “Your question is a bit strange, I don’t know what you’re concerned about.”
“Tell me everything you know,” Luo Ziling didn’t hide anything from Shanque, “What’s going on with Dragon Rise now, how is Kong Que’s injury, just tell me everything.”
“I’d better not say anything,” Shanque hesitated for a moment but still refused Luo Ziling’s questions, “You can see Kong Que’s injury yourself. As for Dragon Rise’s matters, you can ask Phoenix or the chief later. Today, the chief is planning to have you stay for dinner!”
“Alright,” Luo Ziling didn’t press Shanque further.
“Thank goodness for you, otherwise who knows what the consequences of Kong Que’s injury would have been,” Shanque, who liked to talk, initiated the conversation after Luo Ziling fell silent, “And luckily, we have you as an unofficial member of Dragon Rise, otherwise we would have a lot more trouble.”
“In the future, I’ll provide more effective help,” Luo Ziling said with determination.
Luo Xusheng was coming to Dragon Rise, giving it a completely different meaning for him.
He wanted to help Dragon Rise as much as he could.
Soon, the car arrived at the Dragon Rise sanatorium.
When the car drove into the yard, Luo Ziling suddenly saw Phoenix standing in the garden, unclear if she was waiting for him.
After Shanque parked the car, Luo Ziling pushed the passenger door open and jumped out.
“Hello, Captain Luo,” Luo Ziling wondered if the name Luo Dan that Phoenix had used was her real name. He thought it sounded nice, so he instinctively believed it was her real name. Upon meeting her today, he addressed her as “Captain Luo.”
“The chief wants to talk with you later, so you’ll be staying for dinner,” Phoenix repeated what Shanque had said earlier, “He probably has something important to discuss with you.”
“Alright,” Luo Ziling nodded in agreement, “It’s been a long time since I sat down for a chat with your chief.”
“First, treat Kong Que,” said Phoenix, turning and walking ahead.
Just as Luo Ziling caught up with her, she whispered, “If you have time, I’d like to get treated by you as well.”
“More massages for you?” Luo Ziling looked surprised.
Phoenix glared at Luo Ziling and said irritably, “Figure out what treatment is necessary yourself.”
Concerned about Lin Lan’s injury, Luo Ziling didn’t joke with Phoenix. He told Phoenix he had a lot on his plate recently and would treat her later. Phoenix showed no particular reaction.
When they reached the room where Lin Lan was staying, Phoenix stood aside and let Luo Ziling go in by himself.
Lin Lan was lying in bed. Before they came in, she must have been asleep, but she woke up immediately once they entered.
Seeing that it was Phoenix and Luo Ziling coming in, Lin Lan lay back down after sitting up slightly.
“You’re here,” Lin Lan looked at Luo Ziling with a slight smile, “Thank you for your hard work.”
“You’ve become so polite; I’m a bit not used to it,” Luo Ziling pointed to Phoenix standing aside in her camo uniform and boots, “You used to be casual like her, always ordering people around. Now you’ve become an ordinary little woman.”
Lin Lan blushed suddenly, lightly spat at Luo Ziling, and said nothing in return.
Phoenix also rolled her eyes at Luo Ziling, dissatisfied as she urged, “Hurry up with the treatment, talk about anything else after.”
Luo Ziling chuckled, instructing Lin Lan to lie down so he could first examine her external injuries.
Observing this, Phoenix, standing outside, tactfully walked away.
After carefully examining Lin Lan’s external injuries and treating them, Luo Ziling began acupuncture therapy.
During the examination, Lin Lan was naked, which made things less complicated.
Lin Lan’s injuries were all over her body; hardly anywhere was untouched, though varying in severity.
When in bed, she wore loose clothing without underwear or small pants.
Dressing would not only be cumbersome but also impede her wound recovery.
Being alone in front of Luo Ziling, Lin Lan didn’t feel much shyness, as they had been candid with each other many times before. While Luo Ziling treated her, Lin Lan didn’t cover any private parts of her body, allowing Luo Ziling to feast his eyes.
“The recovery is quite good, better than I expected, which must be due to your own constitution,” Luo Ziling smiled as he prepared to apply the needles, teasingly glancing at her chest, “Your figure seems to have gotten better. Originally, I wanted to enhance your bust a bit, but thinking that doing so again might turn into a burden.”
Lin Lan blushed instantly, angrily pinching Luo Ziling, “Not serious at all.”
“I’m very serious now,” Luo Ziling feigned innocence, “A fair maiden lies unclothed in front of me, and I’m not making any moves. Do you think I’m serious? For a girl as beautiful and well-built as you, few men could resist your allure.”
“Slick talker,” though Lin Lan blushed, she felt a bit pleased, “Always spouting nonsense.”
Luo Ziling stopped teasing Lin Lan, focusing on preparing for treatment. During preparations, he asked quietly, “Have you heard any peculiar news these days?”
“No,” Lin Lan shook her head, “But I do know that Dragon Rise has had some internal turmoil lately due to significant personnel changes.”
“When you get better, keep an eye on things, and notify me immediately if anything comes up.”
“Is your father coming?”
“I don’t know either,” Luo Ziling shook his head, “Later, I’ll have a chat with your chief.”
Lin Lan nodded, saying nothing further.
As Luo Ziling began the acupuncture, she softly requested, “After you finish your talk with the chief, come see me again, will you?”
“Sure!” Luo Ziling agreed without hesitation.
Lin Lan hesitated for a moment before asking him, “Do you wish for me to retire?”
“What are your plans?” Luo Ziling countered.
“I want to hear your thoughts.”
Luo Ziling looked at Lin Lan for a moment, then smiled lightly, “You can’t bear to leave here, so you’re asking me. But if you really were to leave, you would regret it.”
“Alright, I understand,” Lin Lan chuckled softly, saying nothing more.
