"Oh, it’s not often we come to the art school, and tonight the moonlight is rare, let’s take a stroll," Lin Wan suggested to the two as the party ended.
"Sure, we have classes every evening, it’s rare to visit a university like this," Yin Peibai agreed, pulling them toward a secluded area.
Such things as rendezvous always choose such places.
Lin Wan didn’t intentionally search for traces of Li Liang and freely strolled around; she couldn’t guarantee that Li Liang and Ye Qing would secretly meet today.
When Lin Wan felt there was nothing to be done today and was just leaving the school, before the three had a chance to separate, Yin Peibai sharply spotted Li Liang and Ye Qing’s silhouettes not far away.
The two of them exchanged a knowing smile and pulled Su Ling, saying, "It’s dark, let’s walk together; it’s not too late to part ways ahead on the main road."
"Okay," Su Ling readily agreed.
Lin Wan walked in front, trying not to make much noise.
When she faintly heard sounds, Lin Wan quickly stopped and made a ’shush’ gesture to those behind her, signaling them to prop their bicycles quietly.
Yin Peibai understood, and Su Ling also noticed; up ahead in the dark, there’s a man and a woman, a fact obvious at first glance as she’s seen it plenty.
Out of curiosity, she followed Lin Wan to sneak a listen.
However, they were too far to hear anything; under the moonlight, they could vaguely see the two close together, all three saw the tall man squeeze the shorter woman, give her a kiss, and his hands mischievously roamed.
Lin Wan really wanted to hear what the two were saying, but it was too far, not a word was heard; though a bit regretful, letting Su Ling see Li Liang’s true colors made the night worthwhile. As for how she deals with it, it’s up to her.
Why give up good days to run after someone like that, she’d be a big fool, beyond saving.
"Hey, did you guys notice? That man just now seemed like Mr. Li," Yin Peibai intentionally said after the three walked quietly away.
Lin Wan nodded, "Though the view wasn’t clear, it did seem like him; I know the woman, she’s from our village, just got accepted here this year, she’s working part-time at our shop. Do you remember, Peibai?"
"Oh yes, I’ve seen that girl, fair-skinned and bright-looking. Didn’t expect they’re dating; if our class finds out, it would break many hearts."
"What? I’ve asked Xiaoqing, she said she’s not in a relationship. I’ve told you before, Mr. Li isn’t how he appears to us," Lin Wan glanced at the troubled Su Ling and continued, "Recently, when I went to Liuxiang Street, I bumped into Mr. Li, he was with a pregnant woman beside him at the time. They were very close, Mr. Li even helped carry lots of things for her. I heard from people there that she’s Mr. Li’s wife."
"But Mr. Li told us he wasn’t married," Su Ling couldn’t help but ask.
"Xiao Ling, you don’t know, I’ve heard that Mr. Li likes to play with women who are newly wed; once he’s cheated them out of their body and money, he’s good at ditching them, hmph. When he first came, he would loiter around me, but seeing I wasn’t easy to fool, he stopped bothering."
