Chapter 207: Chapter 207: Requirements for a Boyfriend
Bella Green: "..." Try losing another one?
She... really didn’t dare.
Bella Green lowered her head, fiddling with the straps of her backpack, carefully placing the black card in the innermost pocket, mentally complaining fervently.
If I lose this, selling ten of me wouldn’t cover it!
Watching the youngster’s actions, Mason Bennett’s lips slowly curled into a smile.
Bella Green hugged her backpack, looking sullen.
After a while, she looked at the scenery outside the car window and felt more and more uneasy.
This isn’t the road to Fragrant Forest Riverside?
"Mason, did you take the wrong route?"
"No." The man looked at the car, speaking lightly.
Upon hearing this, Bella Green blinked, suddenly recalling the scene in the dressing room earlier, and felt anxious.
This man, in broad daylight, what’s he taking her home for?
"Uh, this doesn’t seem to be the way to my house."
"It’s the way to my house."
Bella Green: "..." How do you say that so confidently?
"Don’t you have to work? Why are you going home in broad daylight?"
The youngster looked at him warily, clutching her bag tightly.
Seeing her expression, a deep light flashed in Mason Bennett’s eyes, his voice slightly husky: "I’m off today."
Bella Green: "..." It’s Friday, what kind of break are you taking?
...
The car stopped at the villa at Fragrant Forest Riverside. Mason Bennett drove into the garage and got out of the car.
Leaving a bewildered Bella Green behind.
Should she get out or not?
"Get out of the car." The man’s voice sounded in her ear.
Bella Green was momentarily stunned, then responded with an "oh" and reluctantly got out of the car.
Then she looked at Mason Bennett, and on a whim, asked a question she wished she could bury her head in the ground for.
"Have you ever brought Fiona Grantham here?"
Mason Bennett halted, turned to look at the embarrassed Bella Green, and his lips slowly curved up.
"Do you mind?"
"Tsk, the way you say that, what’s there for me to mind?" Bella Green laughed awkwardly, internally wishing she could slap herself.
"If you’re so curious, check for yourself." Mason Bennett said, pressing the code and entering the house.
Bella Green thought for a moment and still followed inside.
She had been here more than once or twice, surely Mason Bennett wouldn’t eat her, right?
"My brother’s back. I’ll take you home for dinner over the weekend." Mason Bennett said casually.
Bella Green’s steps paused as she looked at the man’s back with a peculiar feeling in her heart.
Or rather, this sentence was just peculiar.
What does his brother coming back have to do with her? Also, taking her home for dinner, is there something off about that?
Mason Bennett sat on the couch, then patted the space beside him, his voice rich and resonant: "Come over."
Bella Green walked over and sat on the couch opposite him, asking, "What for?"
Mason Bennett looked dissatisfied at Bella Green, who was sitting far away from him, but said nothing.
The man was silent for quite a while before he slowly spoke: "Last time you said you like men?"
Bella Green was slightly taken aback, suddenly recalling the words she spoke in his office before, and awkwardly rubbed the tip of her nose, her gaze flickering.
Even though that time was a matter of stubbornness, but...
"I really don’t like women."
The youngster’s words bloomed like fireworks in the man’s mind, his heart beating increasingly faster, even his breathing became noticeably heavier.
Those deep, cold, dark eyes shone with a hint of light and heat, intensely watching the youngster sitting across.
"So, what requirements do you have for a boyfriend?"
