Chapter 279: Chapter 279: The Wolf from the Bennett Family

Joanna Ramsey sat in the car, watching the man not far away who seemed intent on killing someone, and she became somewhat frightened.

She pushed the car door open, her legs weak as she walked towards Victor Bennett, and despite her efforts to control herself, she couldn’t stop sobbing and hiccuping.

The young girl walked to the side of the man who had gone mad and hugged his arm, her voice hoarse.

"Victor, hic Victor Bennett, don’t, hic, hit anymore, he’ll die, hic, someone will die..." The girl was crying in gasps, yet she still held onto the man tightly.

The person on the ground had been beaten so badly that he couldn’t make a sound, only continuously whimpering.

Victor Bennett was enraged at this moment, and seeing Joanna Ramsey trying to stop him, he became even angrier.

"Joanna Ramsey, are you fucking stupid? Didn’t I tell you not to run around? Do you fucking know if I hadn’t come, you would have been..." His agitated shout was abruptly cut short.

He couldn’t finish the sentence, only glaring at the stunned Joanna Ramsey with red eyes full of anger.

The girl looked frightened and dumbfounded, her eyes wide open, not even daring to cry.

Victor Bennett’s chest was heaving violently, and he shook off the girl’s arm, pushing her a few steps back.

"Stay back, don’t come over." The man warned.

After saying that, he picked up the stick and started a second round of beating on the person on the ground.

Even the person doing the beating was now panting heavily, with a light sweat on his forehead, let alone Kenneth Johnson on the ground who couldn’t even muster a protest or a wail.

Blood flowed all over the place, stimulating Joanna Ramsey’s visual nerves, as her dark pupils contracted violently.

Her mind was blank at this moment; she didn’t know anything, only that if this went on, Victor Bennett would beat someone to death.

She rushed forward, tightly hugging Victor Bennett’s waist, trying to stop him.

"Don’t, don’t hit anymore, you’ll really kill him, I’m fine, I’m really fine." The girl cried as she spoke.

Victor Bennett, fearing he might hurt the girl, didn’t dare swing his arm again, yet he still felt unsatisfied.

Right now, he truly wanted to kill someone!

Seeing Victor Bennett calm down a bit, only then did someone dare to come closer.

"Second Young Master, forget it, you’ve vented your anger; if you keep hitting, it’ll cause trouble."

"Yeah, this kid sure deserved a beating; look, he’s already like this. Quickly let someone send him to the hospital. If something really happens, it’ll be bad."

Listening to the people around him, Victor Bennett looked at the blood-covered man on the ground, eyes filled with violent intent.

"Fine, have them take him to the hospital."

Hearing him relent, many people breathed a sigh of relief, and immediately Kenneth Johnson’s lackeys moved to help him, only to be stopped by Victor Bennett.

Victor Bennett looked at Joanna Ramsey and reassuringly patted her on the back of her head.

"You wait for me in the car first, I’ll say a few words to them and then take you home."

Joanna Ramsey looked at him uneasily, seeing that he wasn’t speaking with the same craziness as before, she nodded and walked towards the red Pagani by the roadside.

However, she hadn’t walked two steps when a heart-wrenching shriek behind her startled her, and she instinctively turned her head.

Yet a hand raised by the man who followed blocked her view.

"Nothing to see, let’s go." Victor Bennett said in a detached tone, pulling her into the car.

Behind them, everyone was dumbfounded.

They could see Kenneth Johnson on the ground with a face full of blood, looking hideous and terrifying, his crimson eyes almost popping out of their sockets.

Collapse, resentment, it all turned into unbearable pain in the end.

The object between the man’s legs had been mercilessly ruined with a stick, blood staining the ground red, while the icy baseball bat lay nearby on the ground.

Everybody looked at Victor Bennett’s retreating back with shocked expressions.

Previously, everyone thought the second young master of the Bennett Family was just a playboy relying on his brother.

But they overlooked the fact that even if he appeared gentle like a sheep, he was still a wolf from the Bennett Family...
