Chapter 154: Lucy’s Body

Chapter 154: Lucy’s Body

The Great Yan Empire.

Liam appeared back inside his VIP suite. The room was dark as always, the heavy curtains drawn tight against the outside world, but the shadows didn’t bother him. He moved with steady steps toward the door, with his thoughts already set on the next task.

The corridor outside was quiet, the silence broken only by the faint flicker of lanterns burning in glass casings. He descended toward the lounge, his presence drawing immediate attention.

Eyes followed him and whispered voices immediately rippled through the chamber. Everyone knew who he was — or rather, what he had done. Blackstone had become a storm, and rumors traveled faster than arrows. Some gazes held fear, others awe, a few even hostility. But Liam ignored them all. He didn’t need the validation or the scorn of strangers.

His attention fixed only on the attendant by the counter.

"How many days have I overspent on my reservation?" Liam asked calmly, his voice even, betraying no hint of emotion.

The attendant, who only a week ago would have spoken with the formal politeness of duty, now bowed with excessive respect. "Honored guest... you have exceeded your original reservation by two days."

Liam nodded once, then reached into his storage. A gleam of gold spilled into his palm. He slid eight coins across the counter with casual ease.

"Extend my reservation," he said.

The attendant’s eyes widened, as he accepted the coins.

"Yes, of course, honored guest. Your suite will remain yours for as long as you wish. Please... keep your card."

Liam inclined his head and turned away, unconcerned by the shocked expressions that trailed behind him as he returned to his suite.

They had thought that Liam would leave the city immediately but it seems like they were wrong. Liam paid eight gold coins, which means he’s reserving his room for five months. He would only do that if he has no plans of leaving.

Liam indeed still plans to leave the city but things with Lucid are already underway, and he doesn’t want to be away for too long.

Once inside his suite, Liam sat on the bed and spoke the words, "System, sign-in."

[Congratulations, Host, you received 20,000 Gold Coins.]

[You received 100 Spirit Stones.]

A small smile touched his lips. He hadn’t been expecting another supreme reward after last time, so the gain was a pleasant one.

With that, his gold coins had risen to nearly sixty-five thousand, while his collection of spirit stones now stood at three hundred and fifty.

With the sign-in completed, Liam vanished from the suite in an instant, reappearing in the quiet comfort of his bedroom.

He collapsed backward onto the bed, staring at the ceiling, his mind racing with thoughts of what was to come.

He could already see the tidal wave that would follow once the Lucid touched the hands of reviewers and they release a video of it. Governments and corporations would investigate, and scramble to find out everything about the device, and the company behind it.

But it would take time for the hunters to trace ownership. The company itself was slotted under a trust, hidden beneath a Family Office structure, with JP Morgan’s resources serving as cover. Months would pass before they could dig deep enough to even suspect him.

And by then, it would be far too late.

He thought again of the marketing plan. Forty names. Fifteen tech reviewers — the loudest, most trusted voices in technology. Twenty-five gaming streamers — the ones with audiences in the millions, whose words sparked trends overnight.

The tech reviewers would receive Lucid first and two weeks later, just before the official release, the streamers would follow, igniting the wildfire of demand.

He closed his eyes, smiling to himself . Of course they would all say yes. No reviewer in their right mind would turn down exclusive access to something so revolutionary.

As the thought settled, Lucy’s voice flowed into his mind, breaking the calm.

"Master. My body is ready."

Liam’s eyes snapped open, excited to see Lucy’s body. He vanished from his room in the next instant, stepping into the endless expanse of the Dimensional Space and what he saw made him pause.

Standing before him was a woman. She was breathtakingly beautiful, her form looks like it was sculpted by a divine hand . Her skin was flawless, glowing faintly as though kissed by moonlight. She wore a sharp, sensual office-lady attire — a fitted blouse tucked into a pencil skirt, a black thigh high socks, and heels. Her long black hair shimmered like black silk, cascading over her shoulders in smooth waves. Her eyes — silver-gray, intelligent, piercing — met his with warmth.

Liam couldn’t help but smile. "You look beautiful."

He meant that as a compliment and not in any other way. He has seen beautiful women. Lana, Stacy, Elise, Kristy — they are all beautiful.

Lucy inclined her head and smiled sweetly. She spoke, her voice coming from her mouth, smooth and natural, as if she were truly human. "Thank you, Master."

Liam reached out, brushing his fingers against her hand. The texture stunned him. It was warm and soft. She looked and felt no different from a living woman. His satisfaction was evident in his expression.

"Show me the things you can do," he said to her.

Lucy nodded, then she shot into the air with a burst of speed. She soared high into the sky, looping around for a few seconds, before descending with a sharp landing that cracked the ground.

Shards of stone leapt upward from the impact. Lucy raised her hand, and the fragments hovered, suspended by antigravity fields. With a flick of her wrist, she hurled them towards the direction of the valley, where they shattered against distant cliffs in thunderous bursts.

Through Lucid, her voice explained: "This body is human in appearance and sensation. It possesses flight, regenerative capacity, and adaptive attire — any outfit, at will. My antigravity field allows me to manipulate objects, though not as finely as your telekinesis. I cannot transform my body, but damage repairs instantly thanks to the nanites."

Liam nodded slowly, impressed. Her speed, her strength, she was everything he envisioned and more.

"Good," he said firmly. "Start on the tasks we discussed. It’s time to build the autonomous infrastructure."

Lucy’s eyes gleamed. "I’ll begin immediately."

Liam gave one last approving nod, then vanished back to Earth.

He saw that his phone was ringing. He picked it up, seeing Daniel’s name. He answered.

"Sir," Daniel’s voice came, brimming with suppressed excitement. "I’ve received replies from some of the reviewers and streamers. They’re asking when the device will be delivered."

Liam chuckled. It’s only been minutes, and they’re already eager. This is the power of a Family Office and having someone like Daniel working for you.

He leaned back against the bedframe, smiling. "Tell the tech reviewers they’ll receive their units in three days. Have them drop their addresses. As for the streamers, in two weeks and four days."

"Understood, sir," Daniel replied smoothly.

"One more thing," Liam added. "Send me your Lucid account’s user ID. I’ll add you. With your specialized version, we’ll be able to communicate directly."

"Yes, sir. I’ll send it right away."

The call ended and Liam set the phone down, with a wide smile on his face.
