The next day.
Lin Mo left the Nine Continents Secret Realm.
Fang Tangjing, Wu Jinfeng, Wu Yingxi, and Liang Yuan, four experts of the Star Wheel Mirror, were preparing to storm the Prison Tower again. They wanted to recruit Lin Mo for more strength, of course, anything gained would be solely theirs.
"Starlight, it seems I need to get my hands on one too, to condense the Star Radiance Power within me."
Lin Mo thought to himself.
Shushan.
The Ten Thousand Mountains.
Three figures appeared out of thin air. These three, dressed in suits, looked about twenty, but the aura they exuded was not at all like that of men in their twenties, but rather one of centuries-old solitude.
"The Sect Master is busy in seclusion, sent us three to kill Lin Mo. Let's go!"
Among them, the young man standing in the center said coldly.
"Yes, Protector."
With that, the three transformed into black streaks, pierced the air, and disappeared instantly.
Inside the Feng Tianjiao Villa.
"Master, you're back?"
As Lin Mo reached the villa's entrance, he saw Yingzi practicing swordsmanship in the backyard.
"Yes, your swordsmanship still needs improvement. I've only taught you the Nine Heavens Sword Technique and some breathing Cultivation Techniques, how are you doing?"
"I've been diligently cultivating, but perhaps I lack talent, I always miss the point." Yingzi shook her head and pouted.
Yingzi has been with Lin Mo for more than four years, and she has grown into a charming beauty, stunning and radiant, making her face exceedingly breathtaking.
"Cultivation requires laying a solid foundation step by step. It's better to be slow now to cement the basics."
Lin Mo said with a grin.
"I understand, Master. I just worry that I'll be too slow in cultivating, and you'll think I'm stupid." Yingzi laughed like a blossoming flower, playfully sticking out her pink tongue.
Yingzi has been by Lin Mo's side for three years, transforming from a simple young girl into a renowned heroine. Over these years, she's challenged several famous Martial World masters, always besting them.
Yingzi is proficient in swordsmanship with a solid foundation, and with Lin Mo as her teacher, she can easily take on Emperor Realm challenges even at an Advanced Martial God level; most Emperor Realm opponents are no match for her.
"By the way, where's Sister Mengdie?" Lin Mo asked.
"Sister Mengdie is busy at work and won't be back for lunch." Yingzi said obediently.
"Then let's eat out."
"Alright, it's been a while since we've dined together." Yingzi exclaimed eagerly.
The two left the villa, drove to a pedestrian street, and chose the second floor of a clean restaurant.
Lin Mo and Yingzi chose a window-side table. It wasn't peak dining time, so there weren't many diners.
A few well-dressed young people were seated around a table.
"That chick was gorgeous, too bad her boyfriend... such a pity, all flowers uprooted by pigs," said a young man with a pompadour, wiping his nose as he glanced at the attractive Yingzi, his eyes flashing strangely.
"Young Master Wang, want me to go over?" a man with a pointed face and ape-like features asked lecherously.
"Young Master Wang, with your background, wooing a girl is just a breeze, wouldn't you say?"
The youth called Young Master Wang's eyes glinted, "Alright, invite that lady to dine with me."
"Sure." The pointed-faced man smirked teasingly and led two young men toward the window.
"Ahem, beauty, my master would like to invite you for a meal. Do you have any time?" The pointed-faced man ogled Yingzi, dazzled by her fair skin, entranced.
Yingzi raised her head, frowning her delicate willow leaf eyebrows, speaking with a cool tone, "I don't know your master, I'm busy."
Yingzi despised those who deliberately approached when others had companions.
The pointed-faced man's mouth twitched, his expression subtly changed, he continued smiling, "Beauty, you may not know my master, but everyone in Jinling knows he's from the Wang Family. If you dine with him, you'll surely benefit."
"What benefit? Can you buy Earth for me?" Yingzi pouted, "If you don't leave, I won't be polite."
"Uh..."
The man's face turned somewhat red.
Lin Mo said nothing, quietly observing. Yingzi wasn't Lin Mo's girlfriend; he didn't mind Yingzi finding a boyfriend, as she was in the prime of youth, but the other's tactics were too crude.
"What Young Master Wang from the Wang Family? I've never heard of them." Lin Mo chuckled lightly.
Just then, the pointed-faced man's eyes widened fiercely at Lin Mo, filled with fierce intent. The rejection made him feel embarrassed and angry, and now Lin Mo was confronting him—a perfect outlet for his rage, "What did you say? You don't know Wang Family's Young Master? Are you even in Jinling? You think you deserve dining with a beauty? Apologize, or my master will ensure you can't stay in Jinling."
Ordinary people might be scared silent, but Lin Mo remained indifferent, merely frowning slightly, saying calmly, "Looks like we won't enjoy our meal!"
Young Master Wang frowned, seeing the argument between the pointed-faced man and Lin Mo, he immediately approached with an arrogant expression.
"Young Master Wang." The pointed-faced man, upon seeing him, immediately plastered a sycophantic smile and greeted respectfully.
"What did you say, don't know me? Don't know the Wang Family?" Young Master Wang was disdainful, arrogance almost visible.
Lin Mo glanced at him, "I know Wang Kulu, not sure who you are?"
"Wang Kulu?"
Young Master Wang's expression changed dramatically. Wang Kulu was the backbone of the Wang Family; their status in Jinling was due to him, while he was merely a minor relative.
"How do you know my cousin's name?" Young Master Wang slightly tempered his arrogance, fearing to offend his cousin's friend.
"You could ask your cousin if he knows Lin Mo."
Lin Mo said with a faint smile.
"Lin Mo?" Young Master Wang paused, obviously unfamiliar with the name.
"Don't pretend here, let me tell you—" the pointed-faced man began but abruptly fell silent, staring dumbly forward. Before him stood three men dressed in black suits.
Others were equally stunned!
This was the restaurant's second floor, yet the men stood hovering outside the window.
"Bang!"
The glass window suddenly shattered, countless shards darting like sharp blades faster than bullets, instantly riddling the pointed-faced man's body with wounds, embedding a shard in his brow.
