The ancient ruins have opened!"

The moment the spatial seal shattered, countless figures swarmed toward the center of the sea of bones like locusts.

In the next instant, however, the fragments of the shattered seal suddenly paused. Then, with a deafening explosion, an incredibly violent spatial force swept out like a storm, causing even Dou Zun-level experts to feel a chill in their hearts.

The foremost of the charging crowd bore the brunt of the storm. In the blink of an eye, they were engulfed, and anguished screams echoed above the sea of bones.

The turbulent spatial ripples mowed down the leading group as if reaping wheat.

Boom!

Because they had not rushed ahead, Mo Yu and his group were unaffected by the terrifying storm.

"What a fearsome spatial seal! Even after countless years, it still retains such devastating power. As expected of a Dou Sheng’s relic," Xiao Yixian remarked, her face showing a hint of astonishment at the seal’s destructive force.

"Let’s go. Those fools were too eager; they got what they deserved."

Mo Yu chuckled, waved his hand, and his figure turned into a streak of light, darting toward the sea of bones.

Simultaneously, other experts who had avoided the spatial shockwave also launched themselves forward, transforming into blurred shadows that quickly entered the sea of bones.

The sea of bones stretched far and wide. As Mo Yu and his companions ventured deeper, they discovered a massive silhouette resembling a towering mountain hidden within the misty expanse of the bone sea.

From afar, the silhouette resembled a colossal ancient beast lying in the sea, exuding an oppressive aura.

As they drew closer, the white mist floating above the bone sea thinned, and the immense figure finally became clear.

It was a grand hall—an enormous structure nearly a thousand meters tall, like a small mountain.

The entire hall glowed crimson, appearing as though it were aflame. In contrast to the pale sea of bones, its vivid color was strikingly conspicuous.

The surrounding experts were momentarily lost in awe at the grandeur of the crimson hall. After a brief daze, they exchanged glances, their eyes filled with shock and admiration.

As expected of a Dou Sheng’s relic—its scale was truly majestic and overwhelming.

Sizzle!

One by one, figures slowed as they approached, stopping a hundred meters away from the crimson hall. From here, the hall’s sheer size was even more imposing; its top seemed to pierce the clouds.

"No wonder a spatial seal was used to conceal this place. Such a colossal structure would stand out no matter where it was located," Mo Yu muttered, shaking his head as he gazed at the crimson hall.

Compared to the inheritance hall of the Hai Mo Zun Zhe, a peak-level Ban Sheng, this hall was far grander. Truly worthy of being left behind by a genuine Dou Sheng.

While Mo Yu’s group stood outside the crimson hall, more and more experts gathered.

Yet no one dared to step into the hundred-meter range. Those who had reached this point either belonged to major powers or were exceptionally skilled individuals, and none were foolish enough to volunteer as the vanguard.

Seeing the cautious crowd, Mo Yu and his group did not act hastily. A treasure of this magnitude was bound to have defenses; only a fool would believe otherwise.

As Mo Yu stood with his arms crossed, waiting patiently, he suddenly noticed several cold gazes directed his way. His eyebrows furrowed as he turned toward the source of the hostility.

The owner of the gaze was a woman in a colorful gown, exuding an aura of nobility that made ordinary people avert their eyes. Her phoenix-shaped hairpin added to her regal bearing.

"Feng Qing’er?" Xiao Yan murmured, frowning slightly at the sight of the woman.

Hearing this, Mo Yu narrowed his eyes. It dawned on him who she was.

A member of the Heavenly Demon Phoenix Clan!

Beside Feng Qing’er stood a tall man in fine robes, his silver hair marking him as someone of extraordinary lineage. Though he appeared to be in his thirties, that was still considered young for a member of the Heavenly Demon Phoenix Clan.

"Qing’er, is that the Xiao Yan who once defeated you? I didn’t expect him to be allied with that silver-eyed youth," the man said, his gaze briefly sweeping over Mo Yu as he spoke in a low voice.

"Recently, three of our clan’s elders returned in defeat from the Abyssal Lion Clan, and this silver-eyed youth was involved. Be cautious during this trip."

Feng Qing’er frowned slightly. "Oh? A mere human, yet our clan is wary of him?"

"This one has a formidable background. Behind him stands a Ban Sheng expert, and he seems to have ties with the Ancient Void Dragon Clan. He is not to be underestimated," the man explained, his eyes narrowing.

Feng Qing’er nodded thoughtfully. The influence of a Ban Sheng alone was enough to warrant caution.

Mo Yu’s gaze shifted away from Feng Qing’er and her group. With his current strength, he had little to fear from most forces, save the mysterious Hall of Souls.

What puzzled him, however, was that despite his spiritual prowess, he could not detect any trace of the Hall of Souls’s presence.

Boom!

About ten minutes into this stalemate, the ground trembled slightly, and the previously silent crimson hall suddenly emitted a deep rumbling sound.

Everyone watched as an enormous crimson stone door slowly rose, revealing a dark passageway beyond.

"The gate has opened!"

At this sight, many eyes turned bloodshot with greed. Some impatient individuals immediately dashed forward, their laughter echoing as they vanished into the passage.

The sight of others making the first move stirred a commotion. Figures rapidly flickered, racing toward the passage as if afraid the treasures would be snatched away.

Unlike these reckless individuals, Mo Yu and his companions remained still. If a Dou Sheng’s relic could be accessed so easily, it would be laughably simple.

Splat!

Their caution proved wise. Moments after the crowd entered the passage, the dark corridor turned crimson.

A surge of scalding lava erupted, and blue flames burst from the corridor walls.

Anyone touched by the blue flames was reduced to ashes in an instant, without even a chance to scream.

The sudden turn of events caused all the figures within the passage to vanish almost instantly.

"Hmph, a mere fire path, and you think it can stop us?"

Upon encountering the fire path, the major factions finally began to take action. Although it posed some danger, it wasn’t life-threatening for them.

Mo Yu was no exception. Having experienced a similar lightning path in the Hai Mo Zun Zhe’s inheritance hall, passing through the fire path posed little difficulty.

However, while the journey through the fire path was relatively smooth, Mo Yu’s group unexpectedly became separated from Xiao Yan’s group.

Mo Yu shook his head at this, then turned his gaze to observe the world beyond the fire path.

Before them stood an enormous hall, towering like a colossal giant. Standing within it, one felt incredibly insignificant.

Looking around, Mo Yu noticed deep corridors extending in all directions, their endpoints shrouded in mystery.

By this time, many factions and powerful individuals had already entered and begun exploring these corridors in groups.

"Zi Yan, can you sense anything?"

Frowning as he gazed at the endless corridors, Mo Yu turned to Zi Yan and asked.

"I can smell a faint trace of medicinal herbs, but it’s very weak. Over there," Zi Yan said, wrinkling her nose and pointing in a specific direction.

Hearing this, Mo Yu fell into contemplation. As a Ancient Void Dragon, Zi Yan had an innate instinct for the Dragon-Phoenix Origin Fruit.

Following her lead would undoubtedly be the right choice.

"Alright, we’ll head in the direction you indicated," Mo Yu decided.

Upon hearing his agreement, a smile appeared on Zi Yan’s delicate face. She immediately pushed off the ground and darted swiftly toward the forest’s depths.

Seeing this, Mo Yu and Xiao Yixian quickly followed.

After flying for an unknown amount of time, the trio entered a particular area where Xiao Yixian suddenly stopped, her expression wary. "It’s so quiet here."

"Something feels off," Mo Yu added, halting as well. His silver eyes narrowed with a guarded expression.

This was an ancient forest teeming with magical beasts; such silence was unnatural.

Zi Yan landed lightly from a tree branch, her gaze contemplative. She took a dozen slow steps on the ground, then reached out her small hand.

As her hand touched the seemingly empty space half a foot ahead, a golden light suddenly materialized out of nowhere.

Mo Yu and Xiao Yixian were astonished to see the unexpected golden light.

The golden light formed an inverted bowl shape, round at the bottom and tapering at the top, covering an area of about ten meters. Though the light was dazzling, the dense foliage concealed it well; it would be nearly impossible to detect without getting close.

"This is a Beast Spirit Barrier. Only extremely powerful magical beasts can condense such a barrier in their dying moments," Zi Yan said, her small hand gently brushing against the golden barrier, her expression tinged with sadness.

Mo Yu remained silent. The appearance of this barrier, which called out to Zi Yan, likely meant its creator was a member of the Ancient Void Dragon clan.

Then, as if recalling something, Mo Yu’s silver eyes brightened. He murmured, "This... could be the purpose of our journey."

Zi Yan nodded slightly, her eyes filled with hope. She then bit her delicate finger, causing a drop of golden blood to emerge. She lightly pressed the blood against the Beast Spirit Barrier, tracing a golden mark.

"Only those with the same bloodline can open this barrier," Zi Yan explained.

As the golden mark spread, the barrier began to ripple. A golden crack slowly appeared, gradually widening.

"Let’s go."

Without hesitation, Zi Yan stepped into the opening.

Mo Yu, holding Xiao Yixian’s hand, followed closely. As they entered, the golden crack rippled once more before sealing shut.

The moment they stepped through the Beast Spirit Barrier, their surroundings shifted. The lush forest vanished, replaced by a desolate plain.

This plain stretched vast and wide, covered in reddish sand.

Looking into the distance, the trio spotted a massive ancient stone altar towering in the center of the plain.

A faint, yet overwhelming, pressure emanated from the altar, filling the air with an indescribable majesty.

"What terrifying pressure," Mo Yu murmured.

If the sheer force of this pressure was enough to affect him so strongly, the one who wielded it must have at least reached the ’Sheng’ level.

Zi Yan’s eyes locked onto the altar the moment she entered. After a brief pause, she leapt into the air and flew toward it, seemingly unaffected by the oppressive pressure.

Seeing Zi Yan’s actions, Mo Yu quickly realized the significance of the altar and hurriedly followed with Xiao Yixian. Moments later, they landed on the massive stone altar.

Standing close to the altar, they were greeted by a strong, ancient aura.

The trio stood on the middle section of the altar, looking up at a staircase of blue stone steps that extended endlessly upward.

Zi Yan gazed intently at the top of the staircase, the sense of being called growing ever stronger.

Taking a deep breath, her expression turned serious. With a forceful stomp, she shot up the stairs like a streak of light. In a few flashes, she reached the altar’s summit.

Mo Yu and Xiao Yixian exchanged a knowing look before hurrying after her.

When they reached the altar’s peak, they saw the expression of astonishment and joy on Zi Yan’s face.

Following her gaze, they saw a platform of golden-purple stone at the center of the altar.

At the platform’s center was a half-foot-wide groove. From within the groove, a small sapling had sprouted.

The sapling was no thicker than a thumb, yet it coiled like a dragon. At its tip hung a single fruit.

The fruit was about the size of a palm, its surface a mix of golden and purple hues. Upon closer inspection, the golden half resembled a miniature Ancient Void Dragon, while the purple half took the shape of a dancing Demon Phoenix.

"Dragon-Phoenix Origin Fruit!" Mo Yu exclaimed.
