TL: Etude
“Domain Realm Fragments can evolve into a universe.”
This was the first time many Dao Ancestors learned of such a secret. It wasn’t surprising, given how mysterious Domain Realm Fragments were. None of them had ever encountered one, and their understanding of Domain Realm Fragments came solely from incomplete ancient texts and relics obtained from forbidden zones.
“Ghost Mask, it seems your Dark God Society has acquired quite a few ancient treasures from the forbidden zones. You even know such secrets!”
One Dao Ancestor exclaimed in astonishment, to which Ghost Mask replied with a smile, “Our Dark God Society just happened to be lucky enough to learn this particular secret.”
He continued, “Our section of the chaotic territory is surrounded by forbidden zones, and this universe is quite close to one. It seems a Domain Realm Fragment was ejected from that zone, landed here, and slowly evolved into a universe. Later, it was used in the fusion process of two universes, giving birth to both the Grand Universe and the future Dao Realm.”
“So, the value of this universe is beyond imagination. Could it contain a Domain Realm Inheritance?” One Dao Ancestor couldn’t help but feel intrigued.
Domain Realm Inheritance! The other Dao Ancestors were also moved, eager to enter this universe and search for any unknown inheritance.
“There’s no guarantee there’s a Domain Realm Inheritance!” Dao Ancestor Void Sky spoke up, “The scale of a domain is beyond comprehension. Even if this is just a fragment, it likely holds nothing of value. If there was something, we would’ve already discovered it.”
“What if the level of the domain is too high for us Dao Ancestors to detect?” Another Dao Ancestor offered a differing opinion.“Maybe Dark God Society secretly took the inheritance!” A Dao Ancestor, who held a grudge against the Dark God Society, suggested provocatively.
“We did not obtain any Domain Realm Inheritance!” Dao Ancestor Ghost Mask hurriedly explained, “I can swear on my origin. If we had acquired any Domain Realm Inheritance, we wouldn’t have shared this information now. We would’ve quietly sought out other inheritances! Based on our investigations, this universe is merely a fragment of a domain. There’s no inheritance or valuable treasures here.”
“Even so, the future Dao Realm’s value far surpasses any ordinary Dao Realm. If it can produce treasures that only a domain could nurture, our gains would be tremendous!” Another Dao Ancestor chimed in.
“Ghost Mask, you haven’t yet explained why the Grand Universe suddenly began evolving. Even if it’s a Domain Realm Fragment, it shouldn’t have accelerated this quickly!” Dao Ancestor Void Sky questioned.
“Because we found the spirit of the domain and drew out a trace of its power, causing the Grand Universe to evolve suddenly.
However, the spirit then hid itself again, even more deeply this time. Our Dark God Society couldn’t locate it again, and it will take a long time to find it.
But, once the quasi-Dao Realm is formed in 100,000 years, the spirit will naturally emerge. There’s no need to spend long years searching for it.” Dao Ancestor Ghost Mask explained.
“Then let’s wait for 100,000 years.” The other Dao Ancestors agreed.
Among them, Dao Ancestor Void Sky appeared calm, but in his heart, he was thinking about his disciple—Ye Tian.
“Ye Tian’s talent is astonishing. Could he have obtained the domain’s inheritance?”
But soon after, he shook his head.
Judging from Ye Tian’s situation, there didn’t seem to be any sign of a foreign inheritance. Everything he possessed came from the Void Sky Lineage and the universe’s native inheritances. His talents were simply too powerful, defying all logic.
“It must be the destiny of the Domain Realm Fragment that gathered upon my disciple, granting him such extraordinary talents, far surpassing the rest of this Domain Realm!” Thinking this, Dao Ancestor Void Sky became incredibly excited.
After all, Ye Tian had already unified his essence, qi, and spirit, making it inevitable that he would become a Dao Ancestor. Moreover, without relying on the Ancestral Stele, Ye Tian had perfectly integrated with the Dao, giving him vast potential. Surpassing Dao Ancestor Void Sky wouldn’t be difficult.
In fact, Ye Tian had the potential to transcend even the Dao Ancestor realm.
When that time came, not only would the Void Sky Lineage grow stronger, but Dao Ancestor Void Sky himself could use Ye Tian’s success to make an attempt at the next realm.
This was the saying, “When one ascends, all those connected rise.” As time passed, in the blink of an eye, 100,000 years flew by.
On this day…
The entire Grand Universe began transforming once again, its size expanding further and further.
Tenfold! A hundredfold! A thousandfold! It expanded by a full ten thousand times before finally completing its transformation.
At the same time, a terrifying power appeared from within a certain part of the Grand Universe and merged into the universe’s origin.
This scene went completely unnoticed by those within the Grand Universe.
However, outside the universe, the many Dao Ancestors exclaimed in shock, for that power was indeed the spirit of the domain, containing a force that surpassed even the universe’s origin.
They could only sense it but were unable to intercept or capture it.
“It really is the spirit of the domain! Ghost Mask wasn’t lying!” One Dao Ancestor after another confirmed.
At this point, the Dao Ancestors began to have new thoughts.
Before, while they paid attention to the emergence of the quasi-Dao Realm, most of the focus had been left to the True Ancestors beneath them, as it didn’t hold much value for them personally.
But now things were different. With the secrets surrounding the Domain Realm Fragment coming to light, they were determined to intervene.
“We must send more talents into this quasi-Dao Realm. Perhaps it will become the new core Dao Realm of this chaotic territory!” Dao Ancestor Void Sky sighed.
The other Dao Ancestors shared this sentiment and quickly left to make new preparations.
…
Void Sky Hall.
The human race, along with the other subordinate forces under the Void Sky Hall, became incredibly busy. With the Grand Universe advancing to a quasi-Dao Realm, the entire universe had expanded ten thousandfold, and the newly emerged territories increased by the same factor.
Such a vast territory was now waiting for them to occupy.
Of course, all the top-tier powers had agreements in place—they would only claim the newly emerged territories near them and not interfere with other factions’ territories. Violating this would mean breaking the established rules.
Thus…
In just a hundred years, the Void Sky Hall had expanded its occupied territory by a staggering ten thousandfold. This was an incomprehensibly vast domain, thousands of times larger than an entire universe.
At this point…
Even ordinary humans of the human race could potentially claim a star and become a lord.
Slightly stronger humans were enough to take control of vast territories.
This marked the beginning of a new era—an era of rapid expansion and development.
…
Soon, the third wave of people from the chaos arrived in the Grand Universe. Their arrival signified that competition within the quasi-Dao Realm would intensify manyfold, and things would become far more brutal.
…
Outside the Void Sky Hall.
Led by Ye Tian, numerous True Monarchs, Half-Step True Spirits, and Heavenly Monarchs gathered to welcome the incoming disciples of the Void Sky Lineage from the chaotic region.
Boom! The void cracked open, and one by one, figures emerged—most of them True Monarchs, with only a small number of Heavenly Monarchs.
“Why are there so many disciples?” Even True Monarch Tun Yue was shocked.
He had initially estimated that the third batch of disciples would number at most in the thousands, perhaps tens of thousands, since those who could enter were usually powerful individuals of high standing.
Yet now, countless True Monarchs had descended, far too many to count.
One hundred thousand! One million! Ten million!
The strength of the Void Sky Lineage was terrifying, with an incalculable number of True Monarchs accumulated over countless eras. But why had the Void Sky Lineage sent so many True Monarchs? Were they preparing for war?
Ye Tian also furrowed his brow, sensing that something was off.
The number of True Monarchs was simply overwhelming!
Soon, the transmission ended.
An astonishing tens of millions of True Monarchs had arrived, ranging in strength from weak to powerful, with varying levels.
Moreover, among these individuals were personal disciples of Dao Ancestors, true disciples, and descendants of Dao Ancestors. Many of them held statuses no lower than Ye Tian, and some even slightly outranked him.
Boom!
A True Monarch emerged from the crowd of tens of millions and stepped in front of Ye Tian.
“Little Junior Brother, hello!”
This True Monarch smiled and greeted him.
