Ye Tian had returned to this place and convened a meeting with the high-ranking members of the Void Sky Hall.
Only a little over a hundred True Monarchs and one Half-Step True Ancestor attended the meeting. These True Monarchs were the most elite among their ranks, holding the highest levels of power and status within the Void Sky Hall. Those who were not at the pinnacle had no qualification to participate in this gathering.
The meeting was presided over by True Monarch Dragon Sea. With his cultivation at the Half-Step True Ancestor realm, no one dared oppose his role as the meeting’s host.
Facing the gathered True Monarchs, True Monarch Dragon Sea said, “Everyone, a new ruin has recently emerged in the quasi-Dao Realm. Although the spatial channel is still unstable, some individuals have already paid a price to enter the interior. It seems to be a vast battlefield.”

“This… If Dao Ancestor incarnations appear, wouldn’t we have no chance to compete? If we encounter incarnations from other factions’ Dao Ancestors, we might be annihilated instantly!” Many True Monarchs voiced their concerns.
“There’s no need to worry so much!” True Monarch Dragon Sea reassured them. “Even if Dao Ancestors send incarnations into the quasi-Dao Realm, their powers will be severely suppressed. They won’t be able to display their full strength, and the battlefield isn’t a complete world—it’s only a battlefield space, a fragment of a Domain Realm. It will suppress higher-level powers. A Dao Ancestor’s incarnation will likely only exhibit power at the True Monarch level.”
“But even at the True Monarch level, their mastery of origin divine abilities, secret arts, and Dao comprehension far exceeds ours! If we encounter one, escaping will still be difficult!” One participant raised a valid concern.
“That will come down to luck. Whether you enter or not is entirely up to you,” Dragon Sea replied calmly.
He had already decided to go. As a Half-Step True Ancestor, his strength provided a degree of safety that others lacked. If he obtained any significant treasures, he might even earn a spot on the Ancestral Stele and ascend to become a Dao Ancestor himself! The entrance of the ruins was located in the War God Tower, within the War God True Nation. The ruins were far too valuable for the War God True Nation to monopolize.
After all, with Dao Ancestor incarnations likely to intervene, attempting to claim the ruins for themselves would only result in the War God Tower being annihilated.
As for Ye Tian’s previous monopoly of the Blackwind Mountain Ruins, that was only because the site’s value wasn’t as high. Otherwise, he wouldn’t have been able to protect it, even if it cost him his life.

Yun Zi wasn’t foolish—she could sense the rejection in Ye Tian’s tone. However, she acted as if she hadn’t noticed and continued speaking.
“Dao Child of Ten Thousand Laws, although I am a personal disciple of a Dao Ancestor from the War God Tower, it doesn’t mean everything within the War God Tower is harmonious.”
She gave a faint sigh and explained, “There are multiple factions within the tower. Currently, there is only one Half-Step True Ancestor in the War God Tower, but his faction and mine do not get along. This is due to some longstanding conflict between our families, so I don’t trust him enough to cooperate with him.
I am well aware of my weak strength, and I understand that you might not be inclined to team up with me. However, I hold a secret key to an inheritance.”

Yun Zi elaborated, “You must be aware that several ruins have recently emerged in the quasi-Dao Realm, including the Domain Realm ruins and the Sky Ape Sect Ruins, as well as that human ruin of yours. These fragments are often too small to gain attention, and whenever someone discovers one, they immediately strip it clean and destroy it, leaving many factions unaware of their existence.
The secret key I hold allows me to sense a location within the battlefield ruins that is calling to me. I believe that this is the site of an inheritance, and with the key, I can locate it precisely.”
“What level of inheritance are we talking about?” Ye Tian asked.
If the inheritance was of a low tier, he wouldn’t be interested. In a place like the battlefield ruins, one could easily acquire extraordinary rewards without much effort.
“It’s the inheritance of a top-tier True Ancestor,” Yun Zi replied. “And this particular True Ancestor wasn’t weak—he once killed a Dao Ancestor. She paused for a moment and then added, “The reason I’ve sought your cooperation, Dao Child of Ten Thousand Laws, is because I’ve worked with you before, and I trust your character. I don’t have the same trust in others—not even some of the True Monarchs in the War God Tower.
Besides, your strength is extraordinary. I suspect that even the Half-Step True Ancestor from the War God Tower wouldn’t be a match for you.”
Ye Tian pondered for a moment, then said, “We can cooperate. But once we’ve found the inheritance, our alliance ends there. Does that sound fair?”
“Agreed,” Yun Zi nodded.
All she wanted was access to the inheritance. Whatever she obtained from that site would be more than enough. With her current strength, she wouldn’t survive long in the battlefield ruins on her own, let alone obtain such an inheritance.
Ye Tian’s formidable power would ensure her safe passage to the inheritance site. And given the dangers that might lie within, going alone would have been hopeless for her.
