Ke Ai de Xiao Yu

Chapter 367 Three Questions

Back on Boulder Island, Ye Feng had originally planned to return to Dongchuan City today.

This was because he had made arrangements with Xiao Feifei and Zhou Lingyu to discuss the upcoming tourism project in Dongchuan City.

However, due to some minor injuries sustained in the recent battle, Ye Feng did not immediately return to Dongchuan City. After informing them, he decided to recuperate for a day in the waters around Boulder Island.

He also wanted to thoroughly investigate the news about the sea people and prepare for any potential threats. He definitely didn't want to encounter such a situation again.

After all, if it hadn't been for the entity in the giant underwater cave of Boulder Island that unleashed its power, they would have likely been finished.

However, Ye Feng had never heard of these sea people before, and he didn't know where to start his investigation.

Finally, he thought of someone, or rather, an organization: the Dragon Guard!

As the official organization of China's cultivation world, the Dragon Guard should have some knowledge in this area.

The only person Ye Feng knew who had connections within the Dragon Guard was Su Keqing.

Last time Ye Feng went to detoxify Su Keqing, she had told him that her father was a relatively important member of the Dragon Guard.

The Dragon Guard was divided into four major groups: Azure Dragon, White Tiger, Vermilion Bird, and Black Tortoise. These four groups were further divided into many sub-teams.

Her father seemed to be the leader of a sub-team under the White Tiger Group, holding some status within the Dragon Guard organization and likely having knowledge of cultivation-related matters.

With this thought in mind, Ye Feng immediately called Su Keqing.

"Hello, Keqing, it's been a while..." However, before Ye Feng could finish speaking, he was interrupted by Su Keqing on the other end.

Upon receiving Ye Feng's call, she sounded both excited and a little annoyed, saying, "Ye Feng, you scoundrel, you finally remembered to call me! I thought you were dead!"

Hearing this somewhat speechless greeting, Ye Feng felt a bit awkward. "Uh, well, I, I've been too busy!"

"Hmph, an excuse. I think you've forgotten about me because you have too many beautiful women around you!" Su Keqing said with a hint of jealousy.

Ye Feng felt utterly speechless and quickly replied, "Uh, how could that be! You're so beautiful, I'd forget anyone before I forget you!"

"Mmm, that's better. Now, tell me! What do you need me for?" Su Keqing asked directly after complaining a bit, her mood seemingly improving.

Hearing this, Ye Feng felt a little embarrassed and pretended, "Uh, it's nothing much, really. It's just been a long time since we last saw each other, so I wanted to check on you!"

"Stop bluffing! Knowing you, you're the type who only contacts people when you need something. With so many beautiful women around you, you probably wouldn't even think of me if you didn't need anything!" Su Keqing said bluntly.

This left Ye Feng feeling awkward, and for a moment, he didn't know what to say.

"Hurry up and say it! Don't waste my time! If you don't say it, I'm hanging up!" Su Keqing urged, seeing Ye Feng's silence.

Ye Feng quickly responded, "Hey, no, no, no, I'll say it now! Do you know about the sea people?"

"Hmm? Sea people? Why are you suddenly asking about this?" Su Keqing asked in surprise, seemingly having some knowledge of the matter.

Hearing this, Ye Feng fabricated a story, "I, I'm doing aquaculture at sea, I heard about them from someone!"

"Oh, I see! I've only seen information about these sea people in some Dragon Guard documents!" Su Keqing explained.

Ye Feng eagerly asked, "Really? Where are those documents? Can you get them for me to see?"

"I can't answer that right now because those documents are considered highly confidential and cannot be borrowed by non-Dragon Guard members! I can only access them because of my father's position!" Su Keqing replied.

Ye Feng couldn't help but show his disappointment and replied, "Alright!"

However, the next second, Su Keqing added, "Wait for me for a few days. I'll ask my father if I can borrow them for you to see!"

"Okay! That would be great, thank you in advance!" Ye Feng said excitedly.

Su Keqing smiled and replied, "No need to thank me. Just don't refuse me next time you need my help!"

"Haha! Don't worry!" Ye Feng said with a smile.

After chatting casually for a few more minutes, they hung up the phone.

Knowing that the Dragon Guard had relevant information, Ye Feng felt much better.

For the rest of the time, he stayed in the Sea God Hall, absorbing the Sea God's power and diligently cultivating to recover from his injuries.

Another day passed in a blink of an eye, and Ye Feng's injuries had mostly healed. He then got up and traveled from the waters of Boulder Island to Dongchuan City.

By the time Ye Feng arrived in Dongchuan City, it was already noon. Without any delay, he headed straight for the Dragon King Hall.

It was lunchtime, and the Dragon King Hall was packed, bustling with activity.

Seeing this scene, Ye Feng felt a sense of joy. After all, these people were all here for his premium seafood.

There was nothing more gratifying than seeing so many people enjoying the fruits of his labor.

Ye Feng took a deep breath and walked directly to the third floor, heading towards Xiao Feifei's room.

Upon arriving at Xiao Feifei's room, he saw the two women sitting in front of the computer, engrossed in discussing something.

Ye Feng walked up behind them, but neither of them noticed his arrival.

He stealthily reached out and tapped their shoulders, shouting "Hey!" which startled both women, making them jump.

"Damn it, Ye Feng, you scoundrel, you scared me to death!" Xiao Feifei, seeing it was Ye Feng, playfully punched his chest with her small fists in annoyance.

However, to Zhou Lingyu, who was watching, it didn't look like a punch at all; it seemed more like a playful gesture.

After clearing her throat, Xiao Feifei realized something and quickly stopped.

Zhou Lingyu glanced at Ye Feng and said, "Ye Feng, you've come at the perfect time. We've almost finished discussing the tourism project. There are only three tricky issues left, and we need your input on how to handle them!"

Hearing this, Ye Feng hurried over to take a look.

He first reviewed what they had been discussing and found their work to be excellent, largely meeting his expectations.

As for the three issues, Ye Feng looked at them and, for a moment, couldn't think of any good solutions.

Ye Feng's plan was to establish a seven-island, seven-day tour project, using seven islands as the tourism route.

The three problems they were facing were: Firstly, someone had already leased the first island and was using it for herb cultivation on a considerable scale.

This island was not small and had a number of local residents. The herb cultivation project also provided them with a good income.

Therefore, the owner who leased the island and the local residents were strongly opposed to changing it into a tourism project, which stalled the progress.

The second problem was that the two islands far from the coast were uninhabited and completely undeveloped. Developing them into tourist areas would be quite troublesome.

The third problem was that one of the seven islands in Ye Feng's plan didn't actually exist. It would require land reclamation to create an island.

After reviewing these three problems, Ye Feng also felt a headache coming on, as each issue was more troublesome than the last.
