Liu Mengyao nodded, her initial anger giving way to a warmth in her heart.
Lin Feng had mentioned before that he wanted to talk to Du Zhanyu. Now, it was clear Lin Feng must have gone, and at great risk.
"Alright then, you can have some, but not too much!"
Liu Mengyao relented.
Lin Feng didn't stand on ceremony. He picked up his wine glass and took a sip. It tasted good, genuine Burgundy wine, the kind he'd drunk abroad.
"Xiao Lin, have you been comfortable staying at the villa these past few days? Butler Liu mentioned you've been sleeping by the living room window. Why don't you move to the second floor? Aunt Wang can prepare the room next to Yao Yao's for you."
Liu Weimin said with a smile.
"No way!"
Liu Mengyao was the first to object!
Her father was being too accommodating to Lin Feng. The second floor of the villa was her private domain, only Luo Keke was allowed to stay there.
"Sister Yao Yao, I think Uncle Liu's suggestion is quite good. The second floor is so big, and you always get scared of the dark when you sleep alone. With Xiao Linzi next door, you'll sleep more soundly!"

"If Miss is afraid to sleep alone, Keke will keep her company."

Luo Keke giggled and started eating her dessert.

Liu Mengyao's face flushed. If it were any other time, it would be fine, but her father was present, and it was too embarrassing.

Luo Keke gave an embarrassed smile.

Wolves, on the other hand, were cunning and ferocious, with predatory eyes.
