Chapter 101 - 100: Qiyi’s Dance and Hidden Feelings

Chapter 101: Chapter 100: Qiyi’s Dance and Hidden Feelings

Edward Monroe opened the accompaniment with suspicion all over his face, and the next second, he stared in disbelief.

The song written by K was called "Abyss," a dark-themed song. Generally speaking, choreographing for this type of song is quite challenging, yet now he was seeing a perfect dance.

As the accompaniment started, the previously lazy girl seemed like a different person.

Her body was very flexible, and every move she made was just right. Although she wore a mask, her delicate eyes were filled with various emotions.

Sadness, despair, happiness, finally returning to calmness.

In just a few minutes, she expressed the entire meaning of the song.

Until the song finished, Edward Monroe and Ethan Song were still a bit dazed.

From their perspective, K’s choreography probably couldn’t be surpassed by anyone else in the country; it was something you’d want to watch repeatedly after seeing it once.

"So, how was it?"

Claire Green took the tissue handed by Edward Monroe and wiped the sweat off her forehead, asking nonchalantly.

Edward Monroe looked inside her, then let out a sigh, "I really want to know if there’s anything you can’t do. If you were in the entertainment industry, you’d probably be at the top by now."

Upon hearing this,

Claire Green chuckled lightly, "I prefer creating top stars rather than being one myself."

Edward Monroe was startled for a moment, then a smile spread across his face, even making his scarred face look less intimidating.

"K, have you learned choreography before?"

The usually silent Ethan Song finally couldn’t help but speak up.

But the next second, he heard a comment that made his mouth twitch.

The girl’s eyes lifted at the corner, a slight arc appeared on her lips, seeming both present and absent, her tone arrogant and audacious.

"Do you need to learn something like this?"

How could you nonchalantly say such a thing?

If those who diligently learned choreography heard this, they might start questioning their life.

Ethan Song sighed twice, "You’re truly worthy of being a master."

"Then let’s use the dance K just performed for this song."

...

Since Edward Monroe decided on the choreography, he began an unending onslaught in the ensuing time, with the accompaniment playing repeatedly and his body constantly moving.

Claire Green propped her chin, watching the man who was clearly exhausted yet kept repeating the same action, a slight smile appearing at the corner of her mouth.

Hard-working people are never denied because of appearance.

A phoenix can be reborn from the ashes, and so can he.

"Alright, you should rest for a bit."

Just as Edward Monroe was about to continue, Ethan Song pulled him back.

"No, we need to complete it as soon as possible and release the song early."

Edward Monroe refused, pulling his hand away. His bright eyes conveyed everything, except for the desire to stop.

"You’ve already danced very well," Ethan Song frowned, staring at him with unavoidable worry in his eyes.

He had already been practicing all morning before this, and now he was doing strenuous dancing nonstop, his body probably couldn’t take it anymore.

"Very well, but not the best, Ethan. You know this might be my only chance to start over."

Edward Monroe looked at him, speaking earnestly and clearly one word at a time.

The two of them stared at each other in silence, and in the end, it was Ethan Song who gave in, taking two steps back.

Watching that dancing figure, somehow his nose felt a little sour.

Just then,

Claire Green turned her head to look over, speaking with a meaningful tone, "You’re not going to cry, are you?"

"Screw you, I’m a grown man, why would I cry," Ethan Song immediately jumped, as if his thoughts had been guessed.

"Does he know about your feelings?"

From the first time she saw them, she noticed the emotions in Ethan Song’s eyes, and her seemingly joking remark wasn’t made lightly.

Understanding what she meant, Ethan Song shook his head, speaking softly, "It’s fine if he doesn’t know. He’s focused on his singing now; I can’t allow myself to become an obstacle to his progress."

Claire Green snorted lightly, saying nothing.

...

"That’s it for today, I’m leaving."

Claire Green picked up the coat thrown to the side, nodded to the two of them, and got up to leave.

A moment later, a voice came from behind her, "K, let me know when the song is released."

Claire Green didn’t look back, just waved her hand, and walked forward leisurely.

"Miss Green, what are you doing here?"

Caleb Green looked at the girl in surprise, not expecting to encounter her here.

Claire Green spoke indifferently, "Just wandering."

You’re wandering a bit far, though.

Caleb Green’s face twitched slightly, looking at the girl in front of him who clearly didn’t want to talk to him, laughing softly.

"Need a ride home? I’m going that way."

"What do you mean going the same way as me, Mr. Green," Claire Green’s eyes held a cold glint as she dropped a sentence, then walked away directly.

Caleb Green stood silently for a few seconds, then followed after her.

If she’s really my sister, having a good relationship is crucial.

Noticing footsteps behind her, Claire Green’s brow twitched slightly in irritation, her whole being enveloped in an aura of displeasure.

After a while.

She pressed down the coldness surging in her eyes, sneering, "I didn’t expect Mr. Green to have a penchant for following people."

"Miss Green’s going this way, I’m going this way; at most, it’s just being on the same path."

Caleb Green’s eyes were gentle, refuting with a smile.

...

The low pressure around Claire Green remained until they returned to Elegant Residence.

The three people in the living room discussing something simultaneously looked up at the sound.

"What a surprise, you two actually came back together," Mason Quinn clicked his tongue, joking.

Usually whenever she saw Caleb, her cold demeanor could freeze someone, but today they surprisingly returned together.

"Heading upstairs, is Mr. Green also going the same way?"

Claire Green’s voice was icy, her eyes showing no emotion as she looked at him.

"Not really," Caleb Green declined with a smile.

"This is the last time, Mr. Green, do not test my patience," Claire Green warned coldly, the killing intent in her eyes neither hidden nor held back.

Caleb Green was stunned by her gaze, unable to fathom why a seventeen-year-old girl would have such intense murderous intent in her eyes.

Mason Quinn glanced at the figure of the girl heading upstairs and patted Caleb Green’s shoulder, "What’s going on here?"

Caleb Green shook his head, "Nothing, we just met at the entrance of Hollow City Studio and then returned together."

Seeing he didn’t want to say more, Mason Quinn spread his hands.

Bro, didn’t you notice that the chill from Julian Sia is almost like a knife?

"Caleb, some things only need to be said once. She has a bad temper, and you know my temper even better."

Julian Sia’s gaze was calm but carried authority, and even though his words were light, they still shocked those present.

Is Julian threatening?

They had known each other since childhood, and they were all well-aware of Julian’s temperament.

The fact that he said this now meant Claire Green was very important to him.

Caleb Green’s gaze lingered for a few seconds, a bitter chuckle escaping, "Actually, I’m quite puzzled as to where her dislike for me comes from."
