About ten minutes later, a strange song drifted from the mist, sounding like both a man's and a woman's voice.
Upon hearing the song, the crew members grew agitated, their eyes gradually showing signs of madness.
Xu Bing Shan quickly said, "This is bad! There's something wrong with this song!"
Ye Tian took a deep breath and let out a roar. The sound wave from his roar dispersed the mist, creating a clear area.
His voice, like a dragon's cry, shattered the song, and silence fell upon the surroundings.
At that moment, a large sailing ship appeared ahead, resembling a vessel from the Age of Discovery. Seeing it, the captain's face once again contorted with fear, and he muttered, "It's a ghost ship! Evade it quickly!"
Ghost ships were frequently encountered at sea, and failing to avoid them often led to strange occurrences. The captain, experienced, immediately ordered his men to steer clear.
This time, Ye Tian did not order their ship to approach. While he wasn't afraid of such a thing, it could be troublesome if there were powerful entities aboard, and he was a man who disliked trouble.
However, the ghost ship actively moved towards them at a considerable speed. As the two ships were about to collide, the captain shouted, "Quick, change course!"
Ye Tian realized the other ship was deliberately ramming them. He leaped forward, his feet touching the water surface a few times, and like a bird, landed on the ghost ship.
He disliked trouble, but if trouble found him, he would deal with it!
Landing on the deck, he headed directly for the cockpit. As he reached the doorway, a white shadow lunged at him. He raised his hand and struck the white shadow with a palm.
"Bang!"
With a dull thud, a white animal was sent flying, crashing through the wooden planks and into the ship's cabin. He paid it no mind, immediately turning the helm to change the ship's direction.
Then, he stormed into the cabin to search. He found the white animal sitting on a round wooden barrel, its eyes fixed on him with a strange glow.
As he approached, over a dozen ghosts materialized, their appearances terrifying as they drifted towards him, stirring up chilling winds.
Ye Tian felt nothing. With a mighty roar, he dispersed the spirits, rendering them formless. Compared to his Earth Immortal strength, mere ghosts were too weak to be of any concern.
He then observed the animal closely, finding it resembled a cat but wasn't entirely. Its tail was very short, only about five or six centimeters, making it look like a furball.
Its claws were sharp, and its fur was sleek, indicating it could dive into water.
Finding no one else on the ship, Ye Tian whistled at the creature and said, "Aren't you bored all alone on this ship? Why don't you come with me? There's good food outside."
The creature seemed to understand human speech. It tilted its head and tentatively walked forward a short distance.
Ye Tian ignored it and turned to leave. The two ships were now less than thirty meters apart. He leaped, landing directly back on his original vessel.
The creature stood at the bow, staring blankly at Ye Tian. Ye Tian waved at it. The two ships sailed past each other, drifting further apart. Just as the ghost ship was about to vanish into the thick fog, the creature suddenly leaped into the air, its feet rapidly kicking the water surface. It actually trod on the water and then gracefully jumped onto Ye Tian's ship.
Once on board, Ye Tian brought out some canned meat and placed it on a plate near the creature.
The creature approached, sniffed, and then began to eat heartily. It had been eating fish and shrimp daily at sea, a very monotonous diet. Tasting the canned food, it found it incredibly delicious.
After eating a plate of meat, the creature walked up to Ye Tian, raising its head. It seemed it still hadn't had enough.
Ye Tian opened another can for it and then reached out to stroke its fur. Initially, the creature was highly vigilant, baring its teeth at Ye Tian.
Ye Tian slapped it, sending it flying over ten meters. Then, man and beast stared at each other.
After a while, the creature, seemingly realizing it couldn't defeat Ye Tian, grudgingly walked over and continued eating. When Ye Tian stroked its fur again, it merely rolled its eyes and offered no further resistance.
Xu Bing Shan asked in surprise, "Tian Ge, what is this thing?"
Ye Tian replied, "I don't know, but it's very agile, much more so than a cat."
