Chapter 199 Presenting Top Secret Documents

The man in the black windbreaker, under hypnosis, said, "The Dark Hall sent me."

Ren Ping frowned and said, "The Dark Hall is an East Asian assassin organization that takes money to do things."

Ye Tian: "So, it's hard to know who exactly wants to kill you."

Ren Ping made a phone call. In less than five minutes, someone took the man in the black windbreaker away.

Returning to the hotel, Ren Ping paid the bill and then moved to another place to continue drinking.

Ye Tian saw his composure and smiled, "Are you often ambushed?"

Ren Ping: "Before, I was a deputy, and it was relatively safe. Now it's different. Sitting in this position, I have access to too much classified information, so many people want to kill me."

Ye Tian became interested: "What kind of classified information?"

Ren Ping: "Everything you can think of."

"For example."

Ren Ping smiled: "Let me put it this way, if I released this secret information, thousands of people would be beheaded, and hundreds of thousands would go to jail."

Ye Tian asked in surprise: "This classified information is now under your control?"

Ren Ping nodded: "When my predecessor died, I received a text message telling me the location of the data backup. That location, only I know."

Ye Tian: "So they want to kill you?"

Ren Ping: "Alas, what I worry about most now is my wife and children."

Ye Tian: "Harm should not extend to wives and children. They shouldn't do this, because if they harm your family, it can lead to a desperate struggle."

Ren Ping: "Yes, but I'm still not at ease."

Ye Tian: "If you don't want to do it, you don't have to. Isn't returning to a life of reclusion good?"

Ren Ping shook his head: "There's no turning back. Whether I do it or not, they will kill me."

Ye Tian understood that things were not that simple, but he didn't want to pry too much. He said, "Let's not talk about it, let's drink!"

After a pound of alcohol, Ren Ping showed no signs of drunkenness; instead, his eyes became brighter. He said, "Brother Ye, you have saved my life, so I must repay you."

Ye Tian smiled and asked, "How do you want to repay me?"

Ren Ping took out another file bag and said, "These are two pieces of top-secret information I selected after taking over the intelligence. This information is useless to others, but it must be valuable to you. You can look at it later."

Ye Tian nodded, put away the file bag, and asked, "Has your son's cold gotten better?"

Ren Ping smiled: "It's almost better. I won't trouble you anymore."

After finishing their drinks, Ren Ping headed home. Ye Tian saw him to the entrance of the residential complex before leaving.

It was past three in the morning when he returned to the Han family. Han Ningshuang was still waiting for him. Upon seeing him, she asked, "Brother Ye, did you succeed?"

Ye Tian: "I taught Liu Wuque a lesson and used some methods on him. If he's smart, he'll try to contact you."

Han Ningshuang nodded: "Good!"

Lin Ziyi was already asleep. Ye Tian went to another room to examine the two classified documents.

Inside were several pages with text and images. The images were somewhat blurry.

One of the materials described a strange cave located somewhere in the southwestern mountains. This cave emitted a peculiar light every so often at night.

Attached were three satellite photos, all showing light, but due to it being night, the photos were not very clear. The material stated that fifty years ago, a team of twelve people was sent to explore it, and they never returned.

Since then, no one had dared to explore it again, but relevant information was recorded.

Ye Tian was speechless for a moment, thinking, "What use is this ghostly information to me? Am I supposed to go there to die?"

But then his heart stirred. He was the Lian Shen Wu Wang, and this place might be worth investigating.

He then opened the second document. It contained an aerial photograph of a dragon-like creature, over two hundred meters long, lying in a primeval forest. Its head was clearly visible, and it seemed to be… a dragon's head!

The forest was shrouded in mist, and the drone had only captured this image by chance. The second image was already very blurry due to the mist.

The photo was taken five days ago at 12:27 PM. The latitude and longitude of the location were marked on it.
