Chapter 208: Chapter 115: The Day He Gets Married Is Her Due Date 1
Feeling Rebecca Quentin’s body trembling slightly, Howard Geoffrey stopped in front of her once her steps halted, gazed deeply into her eyes turned aside, and asked, "Do you dislike me that much?"
Rebecca Quentin glanced elsewhere, "Do I have to like you?" Heaven knows she was so nervous that even her body was shaking.
Howard Geoffrey’s breath tightened. Couldn’t she be a bit more polite when talking to him?
As if hearing Howard Geoffrey’s protest in his heart, Rebecca Quentin turned her face back, gave him a glance, and said, "Did you forget the agreement? Didn’t we agree not to meet?"
Howard Geoffrey’s sly black eyes narrowed to a slit, an evil light gleaming, "When did the agreement say I couldn’t see you?"
"You..."
It seemed it didn’t explicitly say so... but wasn’t that what he implied that day?
Seemingly enjoying Rebecca Quentin’s sulking expression, a faint smile appeared on Howard Geoffrey’s lips.
"My sister invited you in, make yourself at home."
Casually throwing out these words, Rebecca Quentin turned and walked into the bathroom.
Entering the bathroom, Rebecca Quentin took a deep breath to ease her tension from facing him. Who would have thought that as she prepared to wash her face to stay awake, a "bang" of the door closing suddenly came from behind her.
Rebecca Quentin turned around in shock, looking at the tall figure squeezed in front of her, stammering at once, "You... you knew I was inside, didn’t you know to avoid it?"
In the narrow bathroom, Howard Geoffrey’s unhurried low voice resonated.
"Between you and me, what is there to avoid?"
"Mr. Geoffrey, we have nothing to do with each other now, don’t make it sound like we are still tangled." She just wanted to make a clean break with him, so she could slowly forget.
Howard Geoffrey’s face turned gloomy. Her speech was so cold, which made him extremely displeased.
Rebecca Quentin tried to move past him to leave this cramped bathroom.
Unexpectedly, at this moment, Howard Geoffrey’s arm encircled her, causing her to fall into his embrace.
He angrily kissed her lips deeply, his strong hand gripping the back of her head.
His breath overwhelmed her like an ocean, and her voice of resistance was gradually engulfed by him.
She still felt like the same comforting sensation he longed for, so beautiful, despite months apart, he hadn’t lost any desire for her; facing her now, he didn’t want to be a gentleman at all.
Impatiently, he pried open her teeth, exploring deeply, as Rebecca Quentin felt her chest getting increasingly stuffy from lack of oxygen, with an accompanying sense of suffocation.
She hadn’t expected he’d be so forceful...
His power was such that when he enfolded her in his arms, she couldn’t even move.
Due to the urgent collision at that moment, she felt her tender lips get bruised; having intended to bite down firmly, but because of the pain, she dared not exert force, which gave him an opportunity, her teeth were pried open, and he aggressively captured her little tongue, in a frenzy of entangled passion, leaving her tongue feeling a tingling numbness.
"No..."
Rebecca Quentin’s efforts to voice her resistance were ultimately swallowed by Howard Geoffrey’s increasing wildness.
Just as Howard Geoffrey was secretly pleased with Rebecca Quentin’s submission, he cursed in pain, because she actually bit his lip hard enough to break it.
The taste of blood immediately spread in both their mouths...
Yet Howard Geoffrey still held her tightly, refusing to let go.
"Howard Geoffrey, isn’t the harm you’ve done to me enough? Do you want to see me fall to the point where I can’t get up before you’re satisfied?"
Rebecca Quentin’s choked voice was something Howard Geoffrey couldn’t withstand.
Thinking of the beautiful woman already by Howard Geoffrey’s side yet still wantonly entangling her here, Rebecca Quentin couldn’t help but wipe the slightly swollen trace on her lips firmly, then pushed him away, and walked out of the bathroom in a huff.
Christine Quinn also didn’t understand what the current situation was, because the atmosphere during dinner tonight was too strange.
Rebecca Quentin kept her head down, eating, without a glance at Howard Geoffrey across.
Howard Geoffrey, on the other hand, glanced at Rebecca Quentin a few times, but his expression was flat, making it hard to speculate about his thoughts.
The atmosphere was inexplicably stiff...
Luckily, it was Marilyn Quinn who broke the silence――
"Uncle Geoffrey, why don’t you stay here for a few more days this time, okay?"
Howard Geoffrey gave a subtle glance at Rebecca Quentin.
At this moment, Rebecca Quentin’s brow furrowed, even her eating actions stalled.
Christine Quinn hastened to answer for Howard Geoffrey, "Marie, you know how busy your Uncle Geoffrey is, don’t talk nonsense."
Marilyn Quinn tilted her head, innocently looking at Howard Geoffrey, "Uncle Geoffrey, didn’t you say the company is full of employees who just nod and say yes, and that’s no fun at all?"
