Chapter 242 - 132: Nights Missing You

Chapter 242: Chapter 132: Nights Missing You

Just as she was about to get out of the car, she realized the door lock wouldn’t open at all.

Obviously, someone had used the main control to lock the door.

Rebecca Quentin turned her head to look at Howard Geoffrey, "Let me out."

"Of course, but on one condition..."

Suddenly pulling Rebecca Quentin over, Howard Geoffrey was about to kiss her lips.

But Rebecca Quentin resisted strongly, immediately breaking free from him.

Howard Geoffrey was relentless, and in the cramped space, he pulled her back into his arms, not giving her another chance to struggle, he forcefully kissed her lips.

"Mmm..."

His intensity felt almost like he wanted to consume her, making it hard for her to breathe.

He only let her go after a long time, looking at her swollen, moist lips with satisfaction, and then reminded her, "Take good care of yourself these days... don’t think of escaping, you know even to the ends of the earth I can find you."

Rebecca Quentin wiped her lips, kissed by Howard Geoffrey, with her elbow in anger, and stormed out of the car.

Howard Geoffrey turned the car around.

Rebecca Quentin had just stepped out of the car when she realized her bag was left in Howard Geoffrey’s car in the rush of the moment.

Rebecca Quentin immediately turned around to look for Howard Geoffrey, fortunately, his car was just about to leave.

"Howard Geoffrey..."

Rebecca Quentin called out, running towards his car.

Howard Geoffrey was just about to leave when he suddenly heard Rebecca Quentin’s call; seeing her anxious look through the rearview mirror, he stepped on the brakes.

Breathless, Rebecca Quentin patted the window glass, pointing at the bag on the passenger seat.

Howard Geoffrey glanced at the white bag lying on the seat, then at Rebecca Quentin’s anxious expression, unmoved.

"Howard Geoffrey, my bag is right here..."

Rebecca Quentin forcefully pounded the car window, her voice rising.

Howard Geoffrey still pretended not to hear.

Rebecca Quentin, helpless, ran to Howard Geoffrey’s side and pounded on the car window.

This time the window finally rolled down, and Howard Geoffrey, taking off his sunglasses, asked, "What’s the matter?"

"You clearly heard me. I said my bag is on your seat." Rebecca Quentin pointed to the passenger seat.

Howard Geoffrey reached out and took it, just about to hand it to Rebecca Quentin, but suddenly pulled it back.

Rebecca Quentin was annoyed, "Hey..."

Howard Geoffrey threw the bag back on the passenger seat.

Watching helplessly as her bag lay out of reach again, Rebecca Quentin was furious, "Give it back to me!"

At this moment, Howard Geoffrey got out of the car, locking the door right in front of Rebecca Quentin’s face.

Rebecca Quentin tried to open the car door, but it was no use; she then stepped up to Howard Geoffrey, looking up at his roguish face, "I need to go back to see my son, I don’t have time to waste with you, give me the car keys."

Howard Geoffrey encircled Rebecca Quentin’s waist, "I suddenly want to hear you say something to me... If you say it, I’ll give you the bag."

"You’re such a rogue."

"Yes, I’m a rogue, so what?"

Rebecca Quentin reached out to grab Howard Geoffrey’s car keys, but because of their height difference, she couldn’t reach them no matter how hard she tried, and finally, she just glared coldly at Howard Geoffrey.

Howard Geoffrey leisurely looked at his watch, saying, "I’ll give you two minutes; I need to return to New York as well."

After about a minute and a half, Rebecca Quentin finally suppressed her anger, and asked nicely, "Please, Mr. Geoffrey, what do you want me to say?"

Howard Geoffrey’s lips curved into a barely noticeable smile, "Very simple, look at me and sweetly say ’You need to come back soon, I’ll miss you.’

Such sappy words, even when she used to be with him, she rarely said.

Rebecca Quentin bit her lip to hold back, "Can I change it?"

"No."

Closing her eyes, Rebecca Quentin opened them again, changing her expression to a smiling one, deeply gazing at Howard Geoffrey’s handsome face, restraining the urge to kill him with her eyes, and softly spoke, "You need to come back soon, I’ll miss you."

Howard Geoffrey swiftly pecked her cheek.

Rebecca Quentin pinched her thigh hard, forcing a smile.

Howard Geoffrey slowly got back into the car, picked up the bag, and before handing it over to Rebecca Quentin, he mischievously said, "Be good, and wait for me to come back."

Rebecca Quentin immediately snatched the bag from Howard Geoffrey’s hand, turned around, and left without looking back.

Howard Geoffrey’s usually cold face rarely smiled as brightly as it did now; he then started the engine and drove away.

Rebecca Quentin returned home, just about to take the keys out of her bag to open the door when she inadvertently heard a noisy argument from inside the house.
