Chapter 37 The Transfer Student

A quiet week passed after the class battle, and today was Monday again.

On the way to school, Liu Feng excitedly discussed girls with Gu Ya, which girls were pretty, and what they liked.

Gu Ya was curious how he knew so much about the girls.

Liu Feng chuckled and said, "Observe more and communicate more, and you'll know."

Gu Ya asked, "Do you have a girl you like?"

Liu Feng smiled and said, "I haven't met my true love yet."

The first class today was history. The history teacher didn't come, but the homeroom teacher hurried in.

A girl also entered with the teacher.

"Well, let me introduce you. This is our new transfer student. Please introduce yourself," the homeroom teacher said with a smile.

The girl nodded and said with a smile, "My name is Fu Ya Fang. Please take care of me in the future."

As soon as Fu Ya Fang finished speaking, the boys in the class gasped in a low voice. Her voice was very pleasant, like spring water in the mountains, clear and beautiful.

Gu Ya was attracted by the voice and looked up.

The girl had long, black, smooth hair that reached her back and a fair, delicate face. She wasn't wearing a school uniform. She wore a dark blue and black plaid shirt, tucked into blue and black jeans, and her long legs were shapely.

What was particularly striking were her bright, expressive eyes, which seemed to see through everything.

In this school, few could be as beautiful as her.

"She's a goddess!" a boy exclaimed.

Xu Jie, behind Gu Ya, couldn't help but exclaim.

"Quiet! Fu Ya Fang, there's only a seat left in the back row by the window. You can sit there for now," the homeroom teacher said.

"Okay," Fu Ya Fang nodded politely to the teacher and quietly walked to her seat.

All the boys' faces turned like sunflowers greeting the sun, following the girl.

"Even her walking posture is so charming," a boy next to Gu Ya praised.

Gu Ya was in the back row on the left by the window, and Fu Ya Fang was in the back row on the right, separated by five rows of students, making it difficult to see.

Gu Ya smiled and shook his head, thinking about what he was daydreaming about.

The day was peaceful, but by the afternoon, the news of the transfer student had spread throughout the entire grade.

Many admiring boys crowded at the door of class E, constantly peeking inside. As Gu Ya expected, he saw Liu Feng.

On the way home from school, Liu Feng caught up with Gu Ya from behind and asked eagerly, "Gu Ya! Do you have the communication bracelet number of the new girl in your class?"

"No, do you want it?"

Liu Feng smiled generously, "Of course I want it! Can you help me get it?"

"Hey, be careful. Girls don't like such rash boys," Gu Ya advised.

Liu Feng grinned mischievously, "Gu Ya, I can't believe you understand so well. You must have been flirting around a lot?"

Gu Ya almost blurted out that he had dated in his previous world. Liu Feng had a way of speaking that made him want to reveal all his secrets when he was with him.

Gu Ya quickly said, "Nonsense. I'll help you get it."

"Good buddy! Hehe!"

Speak of the devil, as they were chatting, Fu Ya Fang walked up quickly from behind them.

She walked very fast, a pace that most girls couldn't keep up with. Moreover, her back was straight, and she had an elegant demeanor, the kind of person you'd notice from a block away on the street.

Liu Feng excitedly pushed Gu Ya. Gu Ya felt a bit embarrassed, but out of pride, he still chased after her.

"Fu Ya Fang, I'm your classmate Gu Ya. I'd like to have your contact information," Gu Ya said loudly, steeling himself.

Fu Ya Fang was startled, then smiled at Gu Ya and said, "Okay."

Gu Ya quickly called Liu Feng over and said, "This is Liu Feng, the class president of class F. He also wants your contact information."

Fu Ya Fang smiled slightly, said nothing, took out her bracelet, and touched it with Gu Ya's and Liu Feng's bracelets. Their numbers were automatically saved in the contact list.

"Is there anything else?" Fu Ya Fang asked with a smile.

Liu Feng puffed out his chest and said, "Fu Ya Fang, are you free this weekend? Let's hang out together."

Gu Ya was stunned. Good heavens, Liu Feng was so direct.

Fu Ya Fang smiled apologetically and said nothing more, then turned and walked away.

Seeing Fu Ya Fang walk away, Gu Ya nudged Liu Feng and said, "What are you thinking? What girl would agree to an invitation from a stranger?"

"That's how I chat with other girls," Liu Feng said, puzzled.

Gu Ya was almost amused to death by Liu Feng. "Every girl's personality is different. You can't generalize, can you?"

Liu Feng nodded, thoughtfully saying, "You're right. So what should I do?"

"Initially, just chat with her casually. Don't be too frequent, maybe once a day. You need to cater to her preferences, understand?"

"Yes, yes!" Liu Feng nodded quickly, listening carefully.

Gu Ya continued, "Talk about topics she's interested in. You also need to learn about things she's interested in to have something to talk about!"

"Yes, yes!"

"Then gradually expand, and slowly incorporate some of your own things."

"Then, when you're familiar with each other and can chat many times a day, try asking her out again."

"If she refuses, immediately change the subject and talk about other things."

"Yes, yes!" Liu Feng wished he had a small notebook to write it all down.

"After chatting for a while longer, subtly find out her schedule and habits, identify her interests, and when she's free, ask her out again."

"Yes, yes! Okay, I'll try it today!"

"It's not over yet. If you still can't ask her out, then congratulations, let's be friends." Gu Ya felt like he had said a lot, but he wasn't sure if Liu Feng really understood.

Liu Feng patted Gu Ya on the shoulder, looking ambitious. "Brother! I'll listen to you, but I won't give up! If it doesn't work once, it'll work twice, thrice. I'll succeed!"

Gu Ya asked, "You've only met her once, are you really sure you like her?"

Liu Feng was taken aback by Gu Ya's question and said, "Isn't liking someone normal?"

Gu Ya gave Liu Feng a thumbs-up and said, "You really live up to your name, Liu Feng Feng Liu."

Far in the distance, Fu Ya Fang walked away with a cold expression. She turned a corner, and a hovercar was parked by the roadside.

Fu Ya Fang looked around, then slipped into the back seat of the car.

In the co-pilot's seat of the hovercar, a middle-aged woman wearing sunglasses asked in a low voice, "How was your first day as a transfer student?"

Fu Ya Fang sighed and said, "I successfully became the focus of all the boys in the grade."

The woman chuckled and said, "You have the qualifications!"

Fu Ya Fang quickly complained, "Master! I'm being stared at by dozens of eyes wherever I go. How can I carry out my work?"

The woman turned her head and smiled at Fu Ya Fang, saying, "Consider it training. You need to learn to carry out your work in various environments."

Fu Ya Fang lowered her head and said, "Understood."

The woman sat up straight and said, "The superiors must have considered it carefully when they sent you here. Don't forget your mission. Learn to use your advantages."

Fu Ya Fang nodded and softly replied, "Mm."

The hovercar flew straight into the sky with a soft engine hum, merged into the traffic, and flew into the distance.

...

Wuxu City Mech Guard 12th Division Camp.

Wu Chuyang looked at the girl in the interrogation room and said to the captain, "Do we really have to do this?"

The captain nodded and said, "Yes, it's ideological re-education. Let's start with the basics. They sent her to follow you for a reason."

"But why go to school? It's not very peaceful there now," Wu Chuyang said helplessly.

The captain smiled and said, "Only you are the resident officer at the school now. If she doesn't follow you, who will she follow?"

"The Wuxu City Intelligence Bureau has already planted a mole at the school. She transferred today. Don't worry." The captain's smile seemed to contain some comfort for Wu Chuyang, as if to say, you're the only one who can take this pleasant assignment.

Wu Chuyang sighed and said, "How have his father's affairs been arranged?"

"We'll meet when Ye Zhen Jun returns from the front lines," the captain said.

"Okay," Wu Chuyang nodded and stood up from the sofa.

He glanced back at the girl in the interrogation room.

This girl, Ye Ying, seemed much better mentally these past two days. She was chatting with the two female mech pilots who were interrogating her.

Wu Chuyang thought to himself that he would be busy from now on.
