After Huai Ye Ai Li calmly uttered these words, she turned and continued to tap on the keyboard.
A flame inexplicably surged in Gu Ya's heart, as if something was being choked back.
"Unsatisfied!"
This feeling of dissatisfaction had been pervading his heart since he arrived in this world.
Even killing those eyesores only moved him forward a small step.
And the price was that more baffling events followed.

Gu Ya pulled himself out of his daze and looked at the holographic projection in front of him.
It was the only remaining natural satellite of the planet: Yue Lan.
This was an image taken by a high-powered telescope. Through layers of space debris and asteroid walls, a massive city could be vaguely seen on Yue Lan, situated in the center of a giant crater.
Ai Li continued, "Our connection with the Old Day faction has been for hundreds of years. The previous Divine Power inheritor also came to us, and..."
As Ai Li spoke, a hint of tears suddenly welled up in her eyes.
"...had a romance with a Huai Ye woman. But he had too many lovers worldwide and was too busy."
"Was it you?" Gu Ya blurted out.
Ai Li burst into tears and laughter, covering her stomach. After laughing for a while, she said, "That's hilarious! That was three hundred years ago! How could I be so old? Of course, it was with my mother!"
"Old woman..." Gu Ya said to Ai Li ungratefully.
"Yes, I'm over a hundred years old, how can I not be old?" Ai Li admitted generously, then continued, "Let's set aside the past. We suspect that the ancient Dunsa people established the Yue Lan base."

"Yes. After each Divine Power inheritor dies, a new one appears. Most Divine Power inheritors die for various reasons before they can truly awaken. A large portion of these deaths are assassinations by that organization."
"There are many reasons for this, either the Divine Power inheritor is too high-profile, revealing their abilities too early and attracting the attention of that ancient organization, or the ancient organization discovers and eliminates them proactively."
"But you are different. You are very low-key. At least when I learned about this, you had already awakened to the intermediate stage."

A massive metal tank stood before his eyes.
Countless glowing light strips crisscrossed the metal tank, resembling data communication streams, flowing and flashing on the tank's surface.
Gu Ya placed his hands gently on the metal tank and calmly said, "You sent heavy troops to kill me. If I don't kill you, it would be disrespectful, wouldn't it, Huai Ye City mastermind?"
"Use whatever abilities you have! If I take a step back, I'm not Gu Ya!!"
