Within a week, Jiang Ziyu had left the Di residence. She was more nervous than anyone else for the sake of two successful surgeries.
Her absence completely gave Lu Sisi an opportunity.
The task of picking up and dropping off Qianqian at kindergarten fell into Lu Sisi's hands. While technically the driver would handle the transport and the housekeeper would accompany them, the old madam had been feeling unwell lately, and the housekeeper couldn't leave her side, leaving Lu Sisi to help.
On the way to kindergarten, Lu Sisi would occasionally touch Qianqian's face. However, most of the time, she managed to evade her.
"What does it matter if you resist me? I'm still the one taking you," Lu Sisi mumbled. "Look at your beloved mommy; who knows where she's off having fun."
Qianqian glared at Lu Sisi.
Jiang Ziyu had promised she wouldn't leave her or Daddy, so how could she abandon her?
The car stopped at the kindergarten entrance, and Lu Sisi alighted first. Looking at the ordinary kindergarten before her, she asked in disbelief, "Is this your school?"
The Di family was so wealthy and influential. For Di Mingjue's biological daughter, to be in such a common kindergarten that even ordinary people could attend.
The principal, spotting Qianqian from afar, immediately approached. "Qianqian, it's been a while."
Qianqian hadn't been attending school recently due to Jiang Ziyu's injury.
After greeting Qianqian, the principal turned to Lu Sisi beside her. "Isn't Mrs. Di coming today?"
The smile on Lu Sisi's face vanished instantly. The principal had evidently mistaken her for a servant of the Di family.
She arrogantly lifted her chin and declared, "From now on, I will be bringing her here."
The principal, not understanding, asked her again, "Is that so? Is Mrs. Di busy with other matters during this period?"
Looking at the principal, who still didn't understand, Lu Sisi suddenly became angry. "The Mrs. Di you speak of will soon be me. I am her mother. Don't you understand yet?"
With such a blatant statement, it was difficult for the principal not to understand.
She looked awkwardly at Lu Sisi, pulling Qianqian's hand and seizing the opportunity to leave.
Upon entering the kindergarten, Xiao Ran, who had been hiding to the side, immediately came over.
"Who is she?"
The principal looked at the siblings, released Qianqian's hand, and placed it in Xiao Ran's. "Watch your sister carefully. I'll go call your mommy to ask about something."
Jiang Ziyu was acquainted with the principal, and it was precisely due to their close relationship that Qianqian came to be here.
After the principal left, Xiao Ran opened his schoolbag, took out paper and a pen, and handed them to Qianqian. "Why isn't Mommy sending you anymore?"
Qianqian wrote her answer on the notebook.
With Xiao Ran's intelligence, he instantly grasped the problem. The woman who had sent her here today had already threatened Jiang Ziyu's position. If Di Mingjue were to fall for that woman, they would never be able to return to the Di residence and acknowledge their father.
Yu Ze hadn't come to school for the past few days because he had upcoming surgery.
Xiao Ran couldn't see Yu Ze and didn't dare to ask Jiang Ziyu. The small body carrying this burden fell ill.
Jiang Ziyu received the principal's call and, upon learning that Xiao Ran had fainted, rushed to the kindergarten without delay, putting aside her work.
The principal took the opportunity to question her about the curious matter.
"Who?"
"You don't know? That woman personally told me that she will be Qianqian's mother from now on."
Upon learning that Lu Sisi had been the one sending Qianqian during this period, Jiang Ziyu felt a mix of emotions.
Seeing her troubled expression, the principal beside her immediately noticed a flaw. "Are there problems between you and President Di?"
"If Qianqian continues to attend school here in the future, I'd trouble you to take good care of her," Jiang Ziyu said, indirectly answering all her questions.
She had considered taking Qianqian away, but if she did, Yu Ze and Xiao Ran would be discovered. At that point, all three children would be snatched from her side. It was better to let Qianqian remain with Di Mingjue for now. When she grew older, they would reconnect.
