Li Se continued to explain the entire process while giving Yan Qizhi acupuncture, along with some common knowledge of Traditional Chinese Medicine that everyone was aware of.
Much of the knowledge was something everyone had learned before, but for some reason, coming from Li Se's mouth at this moment, it benefited them immensely.
Not far away, Elder Huang, Elder Hua, and Huang Shanshan were all watching this scene.
"Divine Doctor Li's medical skills are truly impressive. I know this Elder Yan too; his medical skills are decent, and he's always so arrogant. I suppose he has nothing more to say now," Elder Hua said with a smile.
Elder Huang snorted dismissively, "This Yan Qizhi is nothing but a fame-seeker."
Elder Hua didn't retort, as he thought the same.
Huang Shanshan, however, looked at Li Se with a peculiar expression in her beautiful eyes.
"Granddaughter, do you think this Divine Doctor Li is very capable?" Elder Huang chuckled.
Huang Shanshan's pretty face blushed, but she didn't deny her grandfather's words.
"You must keep a close eye on him. He's so outstanding, there must be many women who like him," Elder Huang said with some worry, unsure if his granddaughter could truly win Li Se's heart.
Huang Shanshan was so embarrassed she wished she could disappear into a hole.
Elder Hua, standing beside them, wore a strange expression. He felt a pang of regret at that moment, thinking, "My granddaughter seems to be married already. What a pity, truly a pity."
The acupuncture session, combined with the explanations, took a good twenty minutes. No one left during this time; everyone was listening attentively. Many TCM practitioners even started taking notes.
Yan Qizhi soon recovered. Seeing everyone looking at him, he touched his head and asked, "What happened to me just now?"
"Elder Yan, you just had a heart attack. President Li saved you," a TCM practitioner said.
Yan Qizhi looked at Li Se beside him, his expression complex. After a moment, he managed to utter two words: "Thank you!"
Li Se ignored Yan Qizhi and turned to leave the TCM Association Hall.
"Old Yan, the President's medical skills are not something you can question," Elder Hua said calmly as he approached.
Elder Huang was less polite, scoffing, "He doesn't even know his own capabilities, yet he dares to question our President here."
Yan Qizhi felt very awkward. He was, after all, the number one divine doctor in Gobi City, with a certain status. He said with a red face, "Perhaps it was just good luck."
"Luck?" Elder Huang lowered his voice. "Do you know our President's other identity?"
"What identity?" Yan Qizhi asked, confused.
"Imperial Physician!"
At this moment, Yan Qizhi could no longer remain calm. He shook his head vehemently, "Impossible..."
"Old Yan, he is the youngest Imperial Physician in history. Comparing your medical skills to his is, frankly, you asking for trouble," Elder Hua said, shaking his head.
Yan Qizhi's heart was like a stormy sea. He had applied to become an Imperial Physician every few years, but each application had been like a stone sinking into the ocean. He never imagined that Li Se, so young, was already an Imperial Physician. He knew Hua Lao and Huang Lao had no reason to lie to him; there was no point.
"I heard there's a new Imperial Physician recently. Could it be him..." Yan Qizhi exclaimed.
Elder Huang and Elder Hua no longer paid attention to Yan Qizhi and left separately.
After leaving the TCM Association Hall, Li Se drove to a very luxurious shopping mall. After parking, he took out his phone and called Jiang Ranran.
It took more than ten seconds before Jiang Ranran answered, "Why are you calling me all of a sudden?"
"I miss you. I heard you found a job, so I came to see you," Li Se said with a smile.
"Are you at the mall entrance?" Jiang Ranran asked, puzzled.
"Yes," Li Se nodded.
A moment later, Jiang Ranran emerged. She was wearing a relatively conservative black suit. While it wasn't as alluring as a nurse's uniform, her tall stature and beautiful face made her equally captivating.
"But I still have to work today, so I can't stay with you for too long," Jiang Ranran pouted.
Li Se pinched her cheek and smiled, "Then I'll support you. Why do you still need to work?"
"That won't do," Jiang Ranran shook her head. "I'm not the kind of woman who gets supported by men. I have to earn my own keep."
"Alright," Li Se didn't insist. Everyone had their own aspirations, and he wouldn't impose his ideas on Jiang Ranran.
"Come on, I'll take you to the mall's cafeteria for lunch. The food is quite good," Jiang Ranran said, taking Li Se's hand and leading him into the mall.
The mall was vast, as was the cafeteria. Most of the people eating there were mall employees, with only a small number of customers.
"Ranran, what a coincidence, you're eating here too."
At this moment, a refined man wearing glasses, carrying a plate of food, sat down next to Jiang Ranran. His eyes seemed to be fixed solely on Jiang Ranran, naturally ignoring Li Se sitting opposite her.
"Was your work very hard today?" the refined man asked gently.
Li Se looked at the refined man, then at Jiang Ranran, his gaze clearly asking who this person was.
Jiang Ranran shrugged helplessly and said, "Manager Cheng, this is just my job. It's neither hard nor not hard, after all, the company pays me."
Li Se understood from her words that this refined man was Jiang Ranran's manager.
Cheng Kai said, "That's true, but my concern is personal, unrelated to the company. How about this, I have to go out to meet a client this afternoon. You can come with me. It won't be tiring."
"Manager Cheng, right? You don't need to worry about my girlfriend's affairs," Li Se said with some annoyance. Primarily, this guy was treating him like air and was openly showing concern for his girlfriend right in front of him, which he couldn't tolerate.
"Who are you?" Cheng Kai frowned. "I'm concerned about my subordinate. What does it have to do with you?"
"Manager Cheng, it has everything to do with it. He's my boyfriend, and he naturally doesn't want me getting too close to other men. So, you should go eat elsewhere," Jiang Ranran said calmly.
Cheng Kai's expression immediately darkened upon hearing this. "Ranran, I am your superior. I am telling you to come with me to meet a client this afternoon. This is not a suggestion, it's an order!"
Jiang Ranran's expression shifted slightly.
Without waiting for Jiang Ranran to say anything, Cheng Kai looked at Li Se with a provocative smile, "We have to go out shortly, you should leave first."
"Manager Cheng, that's not within my job scope. I will not go with you!" Jiang Ranran said with a cold face.
Cheng Kai became somewhat agitated. "With a single word from me, I can deduct your entire salary for this month. Do you believe me or not?"
