Chapter 254: Chapter 254: Taking Photos
The snow kept falling heavier.
By the end of the third period, everything outside the classroom was blanketed in pure white.
The heavy snow had buried the roads and trees, turning the whole world into one, stretching the view.
"We haven’t had such heavy snow in years," Jiang Baocu remarked.
S City is located along the East China Coast, where winter typically brings only a symbolic light snow. Snowfalls like this are very rare.
Jiang Baocu recalls the last major snowfall, which was ten years ago when she was very young. She rode on her father’s shoulders to see the snow scenery.
"The weather is unusual this year," Sheng Tang said.
The two of them sat by the window of the fourth row, able to see the snow scenery without going outside.
Chatting while enjoying the snow.
"Are we still going to take photos at noon?" Sheng Tang asked her again.
Jiang Baocu quickly nodded, "Of course we are! Such beautiful snow scenes will look especially amazing in photos."
She glanced at the other classmates, "I’ll arrange for a few more people to join us later. Let’s take more photos."
Sheng Tang nodded.
During the fourth period, the teacher’s throat was inflamed and uncomfortable, so everyone was allowed to self-study.
Classmates started passing small notes.
Jiang Baocu was the most active.
"It’s easier to send messages directly, why pass notes?" Sheng Tang wrote when the note reached her hand.
Jiang Baocu quickly replied, "Using phones might get us caught by the teacher."
Sheng Tang: "...."
Sis, do you think passing notes won’t be seen by the teacher? The teacher isn’t blind.
She was speechless, passing Jiang Baocu’s note to the desks in front and behind her.
So, by calling fellows to join, Jiang Baocu arranged with eight female classmates to go take photos after lunch.
Then, they discussed the location for the photos.
Behind the school auditorium, there is a small forest with various sceneries and pavilions, which are usually well-maintained and spacious.
The group chose that location.
As soon as the bell rang, classmates couldn’t wait to rush out.
Sheng Tang followed Jiang Baocu and others to the cafeteria, seeing some students ignoring their meals and starting to build snowmen in the open space.
By the time they finished their meals and returned, the snowman was halfway completed, looking like a big round-faced monkey.
Sheng Tang and the others watched for a moment, then several girls lent a hand, adding scarves and hair accessories for decoration, quickly finishing a large monkey.
"Let’s hurry, and take some photos," Jiang Baocu said.
A few girls squeezed into one spot.
The three boys who originally built the snowman, freshman juniors, had their hard work taken over shamelessly by the senior girls, looking helpless.
The boys wanted to reclaim their monkey, reminding several times, but were strongly interrupted by the senior girls.
The three were helpless, admitting they had worked in vain all morning.
"Forget it, let’s get lunch first," one of the boys said, "after we’re done eating, they should be gone."
They were too optimistic.
Jiang Baocu and her friends indeed left, but other girls came, surrounding the snowman, turning the surrounding snow into muddy mess with footprints.
By the time Sheng Tang and her group reached the small forest behind the auditorium, it was already crowded with students.
Just like Jiang Baocu, they also came to take photos.
Fortunately, there was an unoccupied pavilion behind a rockery, and Sheng Tang quickly went over to claim it.
".... Does anyone not know how to take photos?" Jiang Baocu asked.
Three girls raised their hands.
The rest knew how, so they took turns pairing up for group photos or taking single shots.
The small forest was bustling with people, never a quiet moment.
Sheng Tang felt that time passed quite fast, checking her phone she immediately said, "Five minutes left until the next period starts."
The girls exclaimed, "No way......"
They had just started taking photos, how could it be over an hour already?
