Chapter 291: Chapter 291 Remind Him

Gu Shiting hurriedly nodded.

He finally let go of Sheng Tang.

Sheng Tang still saw his red eyes, and all the anger from last night disappeared.

She held his hand and led him to her room.

She turned on the bedside lamp and then curled up under the covers.

Gu Shiting gently lay down beside her.

Sheng Tang slightly turned her head and then faced him: "When did you start having those thoughts?"

Gu Shiting knew what she was talking about.

He found it hard to speak.

Even more afraid that the more he said, the more mistakes he might make.

"...Was it from that dream?" Sheng Tang asked again.

Gu Shiting was silent for a long time, then nodded.

Sheng Tang reached out and gently touched his hair: "This is just a thought that lured you. But the kisses between two people shouldn’t just be for such simple reasons."

Gu Shiting responded with a sound.

He understood himself; he wasn’t lured by a thought, but by a strong longing in his heart.

But he didn’t want to anger Sheng Tang anymore.

He agreed with her without refuting.

"You mustn’t do this again in the future!" Sheng Tang said.

As she said this, her voice lowered.

She had stayed up all night and trained for a long time; she was exhausted and soon fell asleep while speaking.

Meanwhile, Gu Shiting’s heart was at ease. Tangtang hadn’t left angry nor ignored him; he felt a sense of regained joy.

This joy left him without any other emotions, and Gu Shiting’s mind relaxed as he quickly fell asleep.

Mrs. Gu came back very late yesterday and didn’t greet her son and Tangtang.

At around nine in the morning, the servant said that the two hadn’t gotten up for breakfast yet.

Mrs. Gu thought it was fine for the children to sleep in, especially in the cold winter.

"Don’t disturb them, let them sleep. We’ll talk at noon," Mrs. Gu said.

By noon, the kitchen had prepared lunch.

By twelve thirty, there was still no movement upstairs, and Mrs. Gu felt it wasn’t right. They shouldn’t be sleeping so deeply.

She got up and went to Sheng Tang’s room.

She planned to knock, but found that Sheng Tang’s door wasn’t tightly closed, only slightly ajar.

The room was bright.

Mrs. Gu still knocked twice out of politeness, but there was no response inside.

"Did they go out?" she muttered.

She casually pushed the door open.

On the guest room bed, Sheng Tang and Gu Shiting were hugging each other, sleeping deeply.

Sheng Tang was entirely nestled in Gu Shiting’s arms, while Gu Shiting lay with his head back, allowing Sheng Tang to nestle her head against his neck.

Both were sleeping soundly with rosy faces.

Mrs. Gu couldn’t help but chuckle and quietly left the guest room, softly closing the door for Sheng Tang.

"Go upstairs and call Mr. Gu for lunch," she said downstairs, still feeling particularly happy as she smiled at the servant, "We’ll prepare something else for the young master when he wakes up."

The elderly couple sat at the dining table.

Mrs. Gu told Mr. Gu about what happened in Sheng Tang’s room.

"Do you think they...?" Mr. Gu looked upstairs with some concern, "Did Tangtang’s parents teach her about safety? We need to talk to Ting as well. After all, they’re not of marriageable age yet, and premarital pregnancy isn’t proper."

Mrs. Gu clicked her tongue: "It’s not that serious. They’re fully clothed, just two children."

"Didn’t Ting wake up to this?"

"Physically, yes, but maybe not mentally," Mrs. Gu said, "I think it’s best to take things gradually."

Mr. Gu felt a bit regretful.

He pondered for a moment and said to Mrs. Gu: "I still need to talk to him just in case. Regardless, we need to emphasize physical health education."

Mrs. Gu laughed: "Then you go talk to him."
