Chapter 676: Chapter 376: She’s Not Wearing Clothes, Okay?

Henry Sullivan immediately stood up and left the bedroom.

He was really a bit frustrated now; he had never met a woman like her before.

Have young people changed their way of speaking these days?

Is he too old or is she too avant-garde?

Seeing him leave, Ivy Miller pursed her lips unhappily. This old guy is really hard to deal with.

She opened the cabinet and was instantly shocked by the neatly folded clothes inside.

How does this man live more meticulously than her own father?

Will he expect her to fold the quilt into a square from now on?

She sighed and first took out a dress, but she didn’t change into it.

It was already 8:40; soon she could take a shower.

Holding the dress, she went into the living room, where he was sitting on the sofa, gazing sorrowfully out the window at the rain.

Seeing his expression, she frowned and walked up to him. "Hey, what are you thinking about?"

"Do I need to report my thoughts to you?"

"Not necessarily," she said, sitting down opposite him, "I’m just trying to make small talk.

We’re not that familiar with each other, and since I’m living with you now, and there are only two of us here, we ought to liven up the place."

"This isn’t a bar."

"Oh, what’s this? You’ve been to bars, too, huh?"

"Why wouldn’t I be able to go to a bar?"

"Of course you can, I’m just surprised. Seeing you all proper, I thought you were immune to bars.

Sure, you can go to bars, but don’t casually chat up the beauties there.

I’ll get jealous, don’t be fooled by appearances, I’m quite the jealous type."

Henry Sullivan shook his head speechlessly, "Why haven’t you changed clothes?"

"I’m waiting to do it right in front of you."

Seeing Henry turn red, she instantly burst into laughter.

This guy is surprisingly shy, how adorable.

"If you keep this up, you can leave tomorrow."

"I’m just joking with you; I plan to change after showering."

Henry glanced at the time and said, "Alright, let’s go. I’ll take you there."

"What if we run into someone still showering?"

"It’s raining, who’s still showering at this hour? The lights are about to go out, whoever needs to shower has already done it."

Delighted, she quickly followed him out. It was still raining, and after he stepped out and opened his umbrella, he handed her one, but she tossed it back inside and jumped under his umbrella, sharing it with him.

Henry frowned as he looked at her, "You’re getting wet."

"It’s fine, I don’t mind getting wet, it makes me happy."

Henry glanced at her; this woman is really... unique.

The so-called bathhouse was simply a room with several simple shower heads installed.

Henry saw that no one was there and let her in; it was kind of cold in this weather.

She quickly showered, but as she continued, disaster struck—there was no hot water.

The icy water hit her, and she suddenly yelped. Henry’s voice came from the door, "What happened?"

"There’s no hot water."

Henry was speechless, "The weather’s bad today, so there’s not enough hot water from the solar heater. Wait, I’ll go heat some for you."

"Oh no, don’t leave, I’m scared being here alone."

"What, you plan to wash halfway? Don’t worry, I won’t go far, just next door."

"Then... hurry back."

"Got it," Henry turned and left. Just as he walked out of the bathhouse, the lights went out at the designated time, and the bathhouse went dark.

In the pitch-black bathhouse, Ivy was extremely scared and immediately ran out.
