Chapter 186 Landslide, Save Me

Su Ding walked out of the room, and Wang Siwei was standing at the door.

She felt a bit awkward.

Wang Siwei, however, raised his little head and looked at her timidly, "Auntie."

"Did you hear everything?"

"Yes," Wang Siwei's small hands fidgeted with the hem of his clothes.

Su Ding calmed her expression, "Don't worry, as long as the bad guy's intentions are thwarted, I will let you go home safely."

Wang Siwei shook his head, "Auntie, I am willing to stay here to protect Xiao Rui."

Su Ding was a bit surprised, "Hmm?"

"After you take Xiao Rui away, I will go home," Wang Siwei said very seriously, "I know it was my parents who caused you and Xiao Rui to be separated. It's our family's fault, and I'm willing to bear the responsibility!"

Su Ding was even more astonished into silence.

Suddenly, her hand was held by a pair of small hands. The child looked at her pleadingly, "Auntie, please don't blame my parents anymore, okay?"

Su Ding sighed, squatted down, and said softly, "You don't have to think so much, auntie doesn't blame you anymore."

But Wang Yan, she still hated him with a vengeance.

He had violated her while she was unconscious, kidnapped her daughter, and publicly broadcast lewd videos to ruin Jin Ye's and her reputation.

This series of events was unforgivable!

Wang Siwei lowered his head, "Mm."

No matter what, he would strive to protect Xiao Rui and Auntie. This was his mission.

Su Ding patted his hand, "Alright, auntie has something to do. You go play with Xiao Rui."

"Mm-hmm."

Wang Siwei scampered out and started playing puzzles with Su Xiaorui.

Su Ding smiled with relief and went to prepare her things.

Now she had to go to the mountain mentioned by Xu Xiuqin. The path up the mountain was not easy to travel, so she didn't drive.

She asked a villager to take her up and found a suitable cliff.

"This place is not bad."

Su Ding glanced at the surroundings. There were many fruit trees, and below were steep mountain rocks.

She tied her clothes from her backpack into the shape of a child, then used lipstick to draw on some mottled bloodstains, and threw it down...

She picked up her phone and filmed the entire scene.

Finally, she focused on the blood-stained clothes of the child.

Then, she made a call.

"A Huang, help me with the post-production, make it as realistic as possible, and send it to me immediately after you're done."

After finishing, she got up and started descending the mountain.

The sky was a bit gloomy now, and a few dark clouds were slowly drifting over.

By the time Su Ding reached the foot of the mountain, the rain had intensified.

Rumble!

She raised her hand to shield herself from the rain and quickened her pace towards the village. Fortunately, this was a road, not too rough.

Just as she was about to turn into a small path, she suddenly heard the sound of rocks rolling behind her...

Su Ding turned back abruptly and saw the mountainside above the road shattering. It was being washed down by the rain and rolled straight into a car parked on the ground.

The car's engine roared, unable to push through the giant rocks ahead, and it stalled.

Then, another rock heavily struck the car roof...

"Bang!"

Su Ding felt something was wrong but dared not go closer.

The car door was opened, and a bloody arm struggled to get out, followed by half of a body rolling out.

He saw the person in the distance and weakly shouted, "Save me..."

Su Ding could no longer stand by and not help. She immediately rushed over, pulled the man up, and carried him on her back.

The moment he looked up, she was shocked.

Isn't this Jonny?

"Jonny, are you alright? Hold on," Su Ding, braving the heavy rain and the danger of falling rocks, managed to drag the man to the roadside.

She let out a long breath and looked at the unconscious man, calling out, "Jonny?"

The last time she saw him was when she was pregnant and his sister had splashed water on her.

She never expected to see him again in such a small village.

But no matter how much Su Ding called, the other party didn't respond. Instead, the blood on him was being washed away by the rain, spreading on the ground.

She dared not delay any longer, so she had to carry Jonny on her back again and quicken her pace towards the village.

Upon entering the village, some villagers saw them and quickly pointed the way to the clinic.

After the clinic doctor briefly treated his wounds, Jonny finally woke up.

As he moved slightly, he grimaced in pain, "Thank you, Su Ding."

"Don't move, the wound has just been bandaged."

Su Ding pressed his arm and said softly, "Jonny, why are you here?"

"There was a film crew shooting in town, and I went to take a look. I didn't expect to encounter this accident." Jonny looked at Su Ding gratefully, "It's really thanks to you."

He had heard about the Jin family's wedding before and knew that some things were hard to explain, so he didn't say anything.

It had been a while since he last saw Su Ding. Seeing that her stomach was flat, he guessed the child had been born.

"It's okay, the doctor said your leg needs a few more days of rest. Your phone was smashed by the rocks. If you need anything, you can use the clinic's phone."

Su Ding got up, poured him a cup of hot tea, and handed it over.

Jonny looked at Su Ding's slender yet still beautiful and moving figure, and was somewhat lost in thought.

"Are you, doing well?" he asked softly.

He still couldn't believe that such a pure and beautiful woman would betray someone.

Moreover, they had worked together abroad.

Su Ding wasn't that kind of person.

Su Ding smiled faintly, "I'm alright, I can get by."

Jonny, however, tasted bitterness from her smile.

He sighed and said sincerely, "You saved my life. If you need any help, don't hesitate to ask."

"You're too kind." Su Ding stood up and looked at the rain outside, which still hadn't stopped.

Jonny thought Su Ding was leaving and quickly said, "Speaking of which, why are you here?"

"I have some personal matters to attend to," Su Ding didn't say much.

Jonny sensed her defensiveness but didn't mind, saying only, "If there's nothing urgent, stay and chat."

Su Ding gave a non-committal reply and returned to the room.

Jonny looked at Su Ding's calm and pretty face, then recalled seeing her slender figure when he climbed out of the car, and was once again lost in thought.

The raindrops on her face had not been wiped dry, glistening on her delicate skin.

Beautiful, so breathtakingly beautiful.

"Jonny?" Su Ding touched her face, puzzled, "Is there something on my face?"

Jonny awkwardly turned his face away, "Uh, no. Call me Jiang Chu from now on, that's my real name."

Su Ding made an "oh" sound.

Facing Su Ding, Jiang Chu felt the shyness of a young boy who secretly liked a classmate. He wanted to say something but didn't know where to start.

At this moment, a woman walked over anxiously.

Two children followed behind her.

"Girl, are you alright?" Xu Xiufen pushed open the door and looked Su Ding up and down.

Su Xiaorui directly pounced, "Mommy!"

Su Ding blinked a few times, looking a bit confused, "I'm fine?"

"That's good, that's good. I heard from the neighbors that you came to the clinic and thought you had an accident on the mountain."

Xu Xiufen breathed a sigh of relief and looked at Jiang Chu, "And who is this?"

Jiang Chu quickly greeted her, "I'm Little Ding's friend. I was rescued by Little Ding after encountering a landslide."

"Oh, I see," Xu Xiufen nodded.

Jiang Chu knew about Su Ding's daughter. He had seen her information abroad years ago but had never met her.

So she was this cute.

Seeing Jiang Chu's gaze fall on Xiao Rui, Su Ding immediately blocked his view with her body.

"It's already noon, I'll go get you food."

Xu Xiufen remembered the food cooking on the stove and hurried back.

Su Ding quickly stood up, "Auntie, thank you. Xiao Rui, Siwei, you go home with Auntie. Mommy will be back later."

The two little ones were well-behaved and sensible, following like little tails out the door.

After Xu Xiufen and the others left, Su Ding suddenly turned to Jiang Chu.

"I don't want anyone else to know that my daughter is here."

Her tone was cold, and her eyes held deep vigilance.

Jiang Chu was stunned for a moment. He realized that Su Ding didn't want anyone to find their whereabouts.

"Okay, I understand," he said.

Su Ding nodded, "Thank you."

Jiang Chu smiled and looked at her seriously, "You're welcome. You are my savior. As I said, if you need any help, just ask."

He paused and hinted meaningfully, "Perhaps, I'm not inferior to the Jin family."

Su Ding's expression stiffened for a moment, but she didn't think much of it.

However, ten minutes later, four bodyguards in black arrived.

"Young Master Jiang, we're here to escort you back."
