Half an hour later, Su Ding arrived at the location Zhang Gang had sent.
It was a small hotel on the border between the eastern district and the suburbs. When Su Ding entered, she saw Zhang Gang tied to a chair, his face swollen and red, his hair messy, clearly having been beaten.
Four men stood guard around him, and there were many cigarette butts on the ground.
“Miss Su, you’re here,” Zhang Hou said, walking up.
“Mm,” Su Ding nodded, her gaze appraising Zhang Gang in the chair, a deep loathing in her eyes.
Zhang Gang slowly raised his head. Seeing Su Ding enter, his bloodshot eyes widened abruptly!
He gasped raggedly, “It’s you! It’s actually you?”
After being captured, Zhang Gang hadn’t understood which deity he had offended, nor why someone would ruin his plans and bring him here.
He never expected it to be this woman!
“It is me. I knew you wouldn’t give up so easily. Now you’ve indeed made a move against the child,” Su Ding said coldly.
Seeing this, Zhang Hou guessed they had a history, and secretly made a mental note of Zhang Gang.
“Miss Su, our people noticed some suspicious individuals lurking around the kindergarten just before dismissal. They kept a close watch. When school ended and students and parents were numerous, they slipped in and drugged a child, taking him away. We later discovered that child was Wang Siwei. So, we followed and apprehended them. This man is the mastermind.”
Hearing Zhang Hou’s words, Su Ding’s anger intensified. She looked at Zhang Gang coldly, “Zhang Gang, you used a drug to take Siwei away. Does Xu Rong know about this? Did she allow you to do this? Siwei is just a child.”
“Haha, of course she doesn’t know. Women are just soft-hearted,” Zhang Gang laughed, his expression losing its timidity, becoming arrogant. “I told Xu Rong to resolve this quickly, but she refused, insisting on finding a way to persuade that bastard to live with her. I’m just speechless. Assets are the most important thing, yet she still hasn’t understood!”
“In that case, I’ll have to use my own methods.”
“Zhang Gang!” Su Ding’s face darkened, and she said angrily, “You’re blinded by greed! Aren’t you afraid Xu Rong will find out about this, and you’ll get nothing?”
Zhang Gang scoffed dismissively. “Although you’ve caught me this time, what evidence do you have? Even if you have evidence, do you think Xu Rong will believe you or me? If you’re not afraid of Wang Siwei being traumatized by his own mother, then go ahead and tell her.”
Seeing Zhang Gang’s defiant attitude, Su Ding truly wished she could slap him a few more times.
Just then, Zhang Hou stepped forward and slapped Zhang Gang twice!
*Slap, slap!*
Zhang Gang’s face swelled even further. He looked up into Zhang Hou’s eyes and suddenly realized that Su Ding was just a woman, not someone to be feared, but these people were not to be trifled with. If he angered them, he truly couldn’t predict what might happen.
Thinking this, Zhang Gang panicked.
“Su, Su Ding, don’t let them beat me. I won’t kidnap Wang Siwei again,” Zhang Gang stammered, trembling with pain.
Su Ding saw a hint of apprehension in his expression and realized Zhang Gang responded to this kind of pressure.
She thought for a moment and gestured for Zhang Hou to stop.
Then she walked over to Zhang Gang and said coldly, “Zhang Gang, I have no trust in you at all. I want you to sign a settlement agreement right now, agreeing to return the assets that belong to Siwei.”
“That’s impossible!” Hearing this, Zhang Gang refused without a second thought. It was his meticulously planned endeavor; how could he give it to that child?
*Slap, slap, slap!*
*Slap!*
Before he could react, Zhang Hou slapped him several times from both sides. Blood trickled from Zhang Gang’s mouth, his face swollen like a pig’s head. He was instantly silenced, only able to emit whimpering sounds.
“Do as Miss Su says! Otherwise, I’ll rip your mouth apart!” Zhang Hou said coldly. One of his subordinates casually pulled a Swiss Army knife from his waist, terrifying Zhang Gang, who began to tremble.
