"You are right," Lin Yan looked up into Maurice's eyes. "I am no longer a saintess, so I can try other foods as well."
Food matters could be discussed later. Until she found those seasonings, she would still stick to white bread. In a Western world, her biggest struggle was the food.
"Madam, you should live according to your own will."
"You are right, I will live by my own will, just not right now."
The elves had been observing the humans closely. Though silent, they studied them intently. The former saintess was truly beautiful, even more so than elves. The adventurers, though hoping to use Lin Yan's presence to enter the elven forest or even get closer to the elves, never expected her to dismiss everyone she had hired. Seeing no way to linger and witness further spectacle, the adventurers agreed to depart the chaotic forest together. After they left, Lin Yan's knights and servants began to set up camp. Though they didn't know when Lin Yan would return, they trusted she would come back with great rewards.
