Chapter 420 The Resurrected Mr. and Mrs. Howard

"I never thought I'd see this day..."

A voice filled with slight emotion came from beside Lin Feng. It was a middle-aged couple, their faces unfamiliar.

"Mr. Lin Feng, who is that child standing next to Tony?"

The middle-aged man suddenly asked Lin Feng, his tone laced with a hint of respect, suggesting they were quite familiar with each other.

"That's your granddaughter!" Lin Feng chuckled and explained.

"Grand... granddaughter?" The middle-aged man was astonished.

"Is it that fast? Tony, he's already got a daughter before getting married?"

The middle-aged woman was even more surprised, but tears welled up in her eyes moments later.

"Good, so good. To see this moment, it's truly good."

Little Morgan stood beside Tony and Pepper, a bright smile on her adorable face, making the middle-aged woman want to pull her into an embrace and dote on her.

"Hmm... wait a moment, I'll take you backstage, and you can chat amongst yourselves," Lin Feng said casually as he watched the stage.

These two elders were Tony's parents.

On a significant day in Tony's life, Lin Feng had once again brought back their souls and, as a favor, crafted new bodies for them.

Although he had prepared some wedding gifts for Tony, Lin Feng felt that nothing could be more surprising than bringing Mr. and Mrs. Howard back to be by Tony's side.

On the stage, after completing their vows, the couple exchanged rings, marking their formal and legal union as a family!

Thunderous applause and cheers erupted from the guests.

Tony, ever the showman, waved to the crowd, basking in the spotlight.

However, his gaze flickered towards Lin Feng's direction, his expression clearly showing emotion.

Unbeknownst to anyone, he had already discreetly glanced at Lin Feng multiple times.

Giving Lin Feng a slight nod, Tony quickly pulled Pepper towards the backstage area.

The guests weren't surprised; the ceremony wasn't over. The wedding attire must have been a bit cumbersome, and they were likely heading backstage to change into something more suitable for greeting guests, as per the usual flow of events.

Lin Feng understood Tony's unspoken message and, taking the elders by the hand, also moved towards the exit.

There were other entrances outside that led to the backstage area.

"Let's go, I'll take you to see Tony!"

Lin Feng led the elders as they walked, explaining as they went.

The backstage area was a temporarily constructed space by Tony, but it was quite spacious, filled not only with an assortment of food but also with separate, independent rooms further within for preparing delicacies.

The moment the door opened, Tony practically bounced out, startling Lin Feng.

"Wow, he was waiting right at the door!"

"Lin! Who are they?" Tony asked, his voice trembling with excitement.

He had had suspicions while on stage.

The two unfamiliar elders, clearly out of place, had looked at him with such affectionate eyes. Moreover, he felt a profoundly different sense of familiarity and closeness from them.

Coupled with Lin Feng's previous promise that he would bring back the elders to witness his wedding day, the identities of these two individuals became overwhelmingly clear to Tony.

"That's right, it's exactly as you suspect!"

"Of course, to maintain appearances, I gave them two different bodies," Lin Feng admitted with a nod.

Upon learning the truth, Tony's expression suddenly calmed.

Yet, his heart was far from serene.

Indescribable emotions surged within him, and in the end, all his words coalesced into the original, most primal of appellations.

Maria was more sentimental, dabbing her eyes, but they were tears of joy and contentment.

"I never imagined Tony would have children. And I never thought I'd live to see this day."

Howard, on the other hand, was much more outwardly stoic, remaining silent as if even a bulldozer couldn't get a word out of him.

But his gaze was fixed on Little Morgan, who was a short distance away, examining the flowers on her dress.

The desire to hold her was almost palpable.

Understanding his proud father's unspoken feelings, Tony didn't hesitate and called Little Morgan over.

"Surprise, old man! Your granddaughter is all grown up!"

Tony doubted if his father could maintain his stern facade in front of his granddaughter.

Hearing her father's call, Little Morgan trotted over, tilting her head as she curiously eyed the two unfamiliar middle-aged people.

Though she didn't recognize them, she could feel the affection in their gazes, which only deepened her puzzlement.

"Little Morgan, they are your grandparents. Come, say hello!" Tony introduced them with a smile.

Little Morgan uttered a few mumbled words, and Maria's tears flowed even more freely.

Howard looked up, his composure completely shattering.

Tears of an old man streamed down his face, accompanied by a touch of embarrassment.

With trembling hands, he extended them. "Little... Morgan, is it? Come, let Grandpa hold you!"

Little Morgan instinctively took a step back, looking at Tony for reassurance.

Tony nodded slightly, and Little Morgan, now at ease, opened her arms and ran forward, her voice soft as she said, "Grandpa, hold me!"

"Yes!" Howard's tears flowed anew as he scooped Little Morgan into his arms. The warmth of her small body, the tangible reality of it, broke through his carefully constructed facade.

"Here, let Grandma hold you too!" Maria, unconcerned with Howard's emotional state, reached out and took the child.

Watching the elders fuss over Little Morgan with such tender affection, Tony smiled with deep satisfaction.

Then, he quietly pulled Lin Feng aside.

"Lin, I won't say thank you. It feels like I owe you too much..." Tony said, his voice filled with emotion.

Scenes of heartwarming intergenerational affection like this would have been impossible for Tony to witness without Lin Feng's intervention.

"But I still need to ask, their bodies..." Tony gestured with his hands.

He wanted to know how Lin Feng had acquired these bodies and whether they could exist permanently.

Lin Feng understood Tony's concern perfectly.

"Don't worry, they are solid, flesh-and-blood bodies, indistinguishable from normal people."

"Your task now is to persuade the elders to stay."

Last time, Howard and Maria had refused a precious opportunity for resurrection for Tony's sake.

At that time, Lin Feng hadn't been powerful enough to forcefully reverse absolute time without repercussions, so he had left the decision to Tony and the elders.

But now, with his power at the pinnacle of the multiverse, coupled with the fragments of the Heart of the Universe, he could negate the backlash of reversing absolute time with a mere wave of his hand.

The difficulty of this was no greater than eating.

Upon hearing this, Tony's eyes lit up.

"You mean, the elders are already resurrected?"

Lin Feng nodded, not denying it.

"But they don't know it. You need to figure out a way to convince them."

"The impact of resurrection, for me now, is practically zero. You don't need to worry about that."

"However, you must be careful not to let the news of their resurrection spread. It would be best to create fake identities for them and then devise a plausible reason for them to appear normally in your life."

If the news that Lin Feng could bring the dead back to life were to leak out, Earth would go mad.

At that point, Lin Feng would never have a moment's peace on Earth.
