Aaron Warren suddenly felt justified and looked at Raina with a condescending gaze, loudly saying, "Raina North, do you understand what your words imply?"
Raina glanced at Aaron, finding his appearance truly disgusting—he was practically bursting with joy and couldn’t wait to laugh out loud, yet he had to hold back, pretending to ask her again, his expression so twisted that it couldn’t be described in words.
If she weren’t too lazy to waste more words on these people, Raina would have denied it two or three more times, thoroughly enjoying their explosive rage.
Raina sighed disappointedly.
"I understand, this medicine is fine."
"It’s the process of making it that’s fine!" Aaron emphasized, "So you’re saying it’s the formula that’s the problem. It’s not a life-saving medicine but a deadly poison! Raina North, even though your pharmacists at The Veridian Institute of Medicine..."
Suddenly, Claire North spoke up, "Chief Warren, sis... Raina hasn’t obtained her pharmacist’s license yet, so she’s not a real pharmacist."
"There’s such a situation!" Aaron was surprised and turned to Wanda Woods, asking, "Director Woods, is this true?"
Wanda replied, "Raina currently doesn’t have a pharmacist’s license. Her..." license is still being processed.
Usually, anyone who can work at The Veridian Institute must be a top-tier pharmacist, even if they’re looking for shortcuts, they need to excel.

Suddenly, a deep male voice rang out.
Everyone turned towards the sound and saw Elias Hawthorne standing at the entrance with Aidan Lynch.
He stepped in, his sharp gaze sweeping over everyone, and sneered, "Are you guys from The Veridian Institute ganging up to bully my wife because you think I’m dead?"
Elias’s words silenced the room immediately, and Aaron, facing him directly, almost fell to the ground with weak knees.
He never imagined that someone of Elias’s stature would really step up to support Raina, considering her reputation is currently in shambles. Isn’t he afraid of getting involved?

Aaron thought, putting himself in Elias’s shoes, believing that even Elias wouldn’t want to be associated with a life or death matter, and is only stepping up because Raina is still his wife.
But the status of a wife can be changed; once they divorce, she’s not a wife anymore.
