"Anya, let’s go back."
"Okay." Anya Forrest was indeed too lazy to waste more breath on Aaron Warren, quite afraid of catching his stupidity.

Aaron’s face changed, and he immediately took out his phone.
"Sorry, the number you dialed is temporarily unreachable..."

The judge entered with the crowd, slamming the gavel. Once everyone quieted down, he turned to Aaron, "Plaintiff, may I ask if Miss Faye Shelby is present and can she produce evidence to accuse the defendant in court?"
Aaron wiped his sweat, "Your Honor, Miss Shelby has not arrived yet, probably delayed by something. Please grant us a few more minutes; I think she’ll arrive soon."
The judge frowned, "Plaintiff, please understand that court proceedings are extremely serious. If the court session exceeds ten minutes, this court can only determine that she has forfeited the trial, and the defendant wins. Do you understand?"
"Understood. I’ll call Miss Shelby right away." Aaron immediately took out his phone and dialed the previous number.
He was too nervous, accidentally touching the speakerphone button, and then the familiar sweet female voice followed.
"Sorry, the number you dialed is powered off."

Aaron felt as if his scalp was exploding.

"What’s going on? Is Miss Faye Shelby not planning to appear in court?"

Claire North and Brenda Adler’s faces were stiff, as if they both felt implicitly targeted!
Ten minutes later.
The judge said, "The time limit of ten minutes is up. The plaintiff, due to your mentioned Miss Faye Shelby not appearing at any point, I will declare on behalf of the court that she has forfeited the complaint. Do you have any objections?"
Aaron turned to Lawyer Reed for help, but saw Lawyer Reed also had a look of helplessness.
