Chapter 506: Chapter 506: Beau Shelby Wakes Up! (2)

"Claire North, you’ve really gone mad. Not everything will go the way you want in this world."

Raina said this, and there were new developments with Beau Shelby.

Beau Shelby has awakened!

Upon hearing the news that Beau Shelby had awakened, Claire North turned pale with shock.

"How is that possible, I clearly..."

"Claire!" Brenda Adler interrupted her sharply.

Claire North gritted her teeth, meeting Raina’s almost mocking face.

Raina said nothing, but that look made Claire North increasingly flustered.

In fact, she no longer needed to say anything to Claire North, because now that Beau Shelby was awake, whatever Claire North had done no longer mattered.

Rather than wasting her breath with the mother and daughter, Raina was more curious about the unfinished words from Beau Shelby’s phone call.

Seeing Raina about to leave, Claire North frantically grabbed her.

"Raina, you can’t go."

Raina looked at the hand on her arm and sneered coldly: "Claire North, you’re really relentless. Do you think you can still stop me now?"

Claire North knew she couldn’t, but she knew even more that she absolutely couldn’t let Raina see Beau Shelby right now.

During the struggle, the group had already reached the entrance of the hospital room.

The Shelby Family also arrived after hearing the news.

Rachel Shelby saw Raina and instantly bristled like a wild cat.

"Raina, what are you doing here?! Don’t think that just because you saved my brother, you can hold this over us..."

"Rachel, shut up. Raina saved your brother; she’s a benefactor to our Shelby Family." Madam Shelby sternly reprimanded her insolent daughter, then turned to Raina with a warm smile, "Raina, I apologize. Rachel is straightforward and childish; she has been spoiled by me and her father. Please be generous and don’t mind her."

"Mom, what are you saying! How could you speak up for Raina?" Rachel looked incredulously at her mother, who had spoiled her since childhood, unable to understand her actions.

"Enough, your brother is more important right now." Madam Shelby furrowed her brow, cutting her off.

At that moment, the hospital room door opened, and a doctor came out from inside.

"The patient’s condition has stabilized but he’s still weak. Family members can visit but shouldn’t stay too long."

"Thank you, doctor."

Madam Shelby said, leading Raina into the hospital room.

Seeing this, Claire North was of course increasingly nervous, slowing her steps and falling behind, intending to leave, but Rachel Shelby’s sharp eyes caught her.

"Claire, why aren’t you going in?"

Concerning previous matters, Claire North had explained to Rachel Shelby afterwards; it was at that time Rachel realized just how despicable and shameless Raina had been—in the past, to ruin Claire North, she had drugged her, causing her to mistakenly lose herself to The Hell King Hawthorne and even bear a child.

Afterwards, she committed something even more despicable by snatching away the child, impersonating her identity, and marrying into The Hawthorne Family.

In Claire North’s tearful recount, Rachel Shelby, despite hating Claire for betraying her brother and deceiving their family, felt pity for her encounter, as none of it was what she wanted.

Normally, Rachel Shelby wouldn’t let Claire North see her brother, but with Raina around today and Madam Shelby’s attitude towards Raina severely aggravating her, Rachel felt she had to do something to force this vicious woman, Raina, into retreat.

Upon hearing Rachel speak out loud, Claire North awkwardly stood still on the spot, but moments later, her eyes reddened with grievance and pity.

"Rachel, with sister here, I won’t go in."

"What kind of words are those! Why do you have to defer to her, Raina." Rachel stepped forward to block Claire North and was about to lead her into the hospital room, "Come with me inside. My brother has awakened; he surely wants to see you more. Let’s also show Raina who my brother truly loves the most."

Claire North dared not see Beau Shelby; if he said anything, everything she had painstakingly built would be utterly destroyed.
