But as for Sang Ning, he had to check on her personally. It was the first time he’d ever seen someone sleep for an entire day and night without eating.
When Li Juezhou arrived at the apartment, it was already 7 PM. He wasn’t sure if it was some magic power emanating from Sang Ning.
The moment he stepped into the foyer, he felt as though the air in every corner of the home was infused with a drowsy energy. The only light came from the faint glow of the ambient LED strips in the living room, which made his exhaustion from the day somehow feel heavier.
Li Juezhou quietly pushed open the bedroom door, carefully gauging the scene inside with the dim light from the living room behind him.
Sang Ning’s entire body was sunken into the soft bed. To be honest, her sleeping posture wasn’t very elegant.
Just as he opened the door, she kicked off the blanket with one leg, while the other pinned it down. She sprawled across the bed in an utterly disorganized fashion.
The air conditioner in the room was turned up high, enough for even someone standing at the door to feel the chilly breeze.
Fearing the sudden brightness might wake Sang Ning, Li Juezhou didn’t dare to switch on the bedroom lights.
With measured steps, he approached the bed, gripping the blanket as he held his breath, slowly pulling it free.
Just when he had nearly tugged the blanket out completely, Sang Ning suddenly flipped over, slapping her hand against his body. "Anyone who dares disturb my sleep shall be destroyed, no matter how far!"
Li Juezhou froze, his breath catching as all his movements came to an abrupt halt.
After observing her for a while and seeing no further signs of waking, Li Juezhou finally exhaled quietly.

In her dream, she was lying on an endless green meadow. The sun was warm but not at all glaring.
In the distance, a clumsy, adorable koala bear slowly approached her, poking its head out to meet her gaze.

Just as the "koala bear" tried to run off, Sang Ning grabbed it in one swift motion.
