"Sharon!"
Ivy Kensington quickly walked over and pulled her up.
Sharon Langley’s face was expressionless; ever since that incident, she had been like a walking corpse.
Seeing Ivy coming over, Nina Shaw sneered, "How did it feel keeping the empty room warm last night?"
As expected, Sebastian Blackwood had spent the entire night with Nina Shaw.
Ivy instinctively clenched her hand, forcing herself to stay calm while staring back at her. "Nina, what exactly do you want?"
"What do I want?"
Nina retorted, her emotions suddenly flaring up, "I want you to give Brother Sebastian back to me, and I want that bitch Sharon Langley to pay for my face!"
How dare she scratch her face, it was simply unforgivable.
Unable to hold back any longer, Ivy raised her hand and slapped her.
"Nina, your face is purely your own doing!"
She was the one who first arranged for people to humiliate Sharon Langley.
Nina was stunned by the slap, but she quickly recovered and, holding her face, began to cry, "Ivy, I know you have something against me, but you can’t blame me for this. It was Brother Sebastian feeling sorry for me being bullied that he cut off business with the Langley Family. How was I supposed to know Sharon would come to kneel..."
Just as she finished speaking, Sebastian Blackwood’s tall figure came over.
"Ivy, what are you doing?"
The man’s questioning voice was like a sharp sword piercing her heart. Remembering Nina’s words, Ivy asked him, trembling, "Why did you cut off business with the Langley Family?"
Sebastian looked at Ivy coldly and said, "Business matters are none of your concern."
Good, none of your concern!
Ivy felt she was about to go mad with anger.
She pointed at Nina, "Sebastian, do you really not understand or are you just pretending? It’s obviously Nina who hired thugs to bully Sharon, yet you refuse to see the truth. Now you’re even going after the Langley Family. What is your heart made of?"
How could he be so biased?
Ivy’s eyes were red, nearly bleeding from anger and pain for Sharon, and resentment for herself. Why did she fall in love with Sebastian Blackwood!
This man was too cruel, cruel enough to show no mercy to anyone besides Nina.
Sebastian’s eyes darkened as he was confronted by her accusations, and he said with innate authority, "I don’t need you to teach me how to handle matters."
If it was indeed Nina who hired people to bully Sharon, he would handle it fairly.
But currently, there was no solid evidence, everything was just Ivy and the others’ conjecture.
Nina hid behind Sebastian, giving a sinister laugh.
She certainly wasn’t that stupid. She had already dealt with those who bullied Sharon in secret. Even if Isaac Eastwood caught them, it wouldn’t change anything.
No matter what, she would not be convicted with solid evidence.
"Brother Sebastian, please stop arguing. It’s my fault..."
Nina pleaded pitifully.
Meanwhile, Sharon Langley collapsed again, kneeling, "It’s all my fault, I beg you to spare the Langley Family, spare the Eastwood family, spare Ivy, come at me with whatever you have..."
She was just a ruined woman, she had nothing left to lose, merely a worthless life.
Propping herself up on the ground, Sharon desperately knocked her head on the floor, blood streaming down her forehead, soaking her entire face.
Ivy’s heart shattered seeing this scene, and she fiercely yanked Sharon up from the ground.
"Sharon, you don’t have to beg them!"
She glared at Sebastian with hatred, desperately saying, "Sebastian Blackwood, I hate you! I’ll hate you forever..."
It wasn’t enough to torment just her, he wouldn’t even spare her friends.
She hated him so much!
Tears stained Ivy’s face at some point, while Sebastian felt his heart clenched by a massive hand, a faint pain slicing through it.
His Adam’s apple bobbed as he turned away, "Whatever."
Then, he said to Owen Rhodes, "Take Ivy Kensington back, don’t let her leave the house again."
Ivy’s eyes widened in shock; he actually wanted to imprison her now?!
