Chapter 2 Beating Wang Xiaohu

Pain! Unspeakable, intense pain.

Li Qingfeng felt something inexplicable enter his eyes, as if they were now much cooler.

This was followed by a sensation of his bones being pulverized, only to instantly heal, a cycle repeating over and over.

His body seemed to have become tougher and stronger because of it. In a daze, he thought he heard Aunt Pan's call…

"Help! Qingfeng, wake up quickly, save me, let me go."

Pan Xiaolian's face was streaked with tears, her weak sobs echoing throughout the medical clinic, a stark contrast to Wang Xiaohu's laughter.

Wang Xiaohu arrogantly declared, "You're still counting on that little idiot to save you? He's practically dying. Enjoy how I deal with you now, hahahaha!"

"Riiip!"

Just as Li Qingfeng regained consciousness, he heard a piercing tearing sound. He focused his gaze.

What met his eyes was Wang Xiaohu already ripping Pan Xiaolian's clothes, pinning her down on the bed, rendering her unable to resist.

Memories surged like a tide, from being beaten to being expelled from Huaqing University; from becoming an idiot to being bullied by the entire village, from being bullied by everyone to Pan Xiaolian's meticulous care.

Scene after scene of memory and what he saw before him ignited his rage in an instant.

"I must beat this beast to death!"

With this thought, Li Qingfeng stood up abruptly, walked to Wang Xiaohu's side, and patted him with his blood-stained right hand.

"Hey, buddy, buddy! Have you heard of Li Qingfeng?"

"Isn't that just an idiot? What's there to ask, you..."

Wang Xiaohu, halfway through his sentence, felt the air freeze. He turned to look at Li Qingfeng, his eyes filled with disbelief.

"You, you, you... How is this possible?"

Seeing Li Qingfeng standing before him, completely unharmed, half of his drunkenness evaporated.

"Wang Xiaohu? Big Tiger? Heh! Today, I'll make you leave on a stretcher!"

Li Qingfeng lunged forward, landing a heavy left hook on Wang Xiaohu's face, then delivered a flying kick that sent Wang Xiaohu tumbling off the bed.

His strength seemed to have increased significantly, his movements fluid and continuous. kuAiδugg

Strike the enemy while they are down.

Before Wang Xiaohu could get back up, Li Qingfeng sat on him, raining blows from both fists, beating Wang Xiaohu into yelps.

"Beast, I won't spare you!"

Li Qingfeng roared in anger.

Hearing Li Qingfeng's roar, Wang Xiaohu scrambled away from the ground with astonishing speed, faster than he could have run.

"Still trying to run?" Li Qingfeng pursued him.

"Help! Someone's beating me! The idiot is having an episode, someone save me, save me!"

Wang Xiaohu cried out repeatedly from the blows, but there was no one near the medical clinic.

He was eventually caught by Li Qingfeng at the entrance of the clinic and dragged back inside.

Wang Xiaohu desperately clung to the clinic door, even deforming the bolt.

With a crack, the doorframe broke.

"You dare to damage my family's door? Huh?"

Li Qingfeng was immediately displeased and gave Wang Xiaohu another beating.

"Stop! Stop! My brother, my dear brother, spare your little brother, I won't dare again!"

At this moment, Pan Xiaolian, her face tear-streaked, regained her senses and rushed over to grab Li Qingfeng's hand.

"Qingfeng, stop hitting him, Qingfeng, please stop!"

Seeing Li Qingfeng still intending to strike, she directly hugged him to prevent him from moving.

Looking at the red swelling and glistening tears on Aunt Pan's face, though his heart was full of rage,

Li Qingfeng relented, fearing his strength might harm Pan Xiaolian.

He glared at Wang Xiaohu and said fiercely, "Get out of here now. If I see you again, I'll beat you every time."

Wang Xiaohu nodded repeatedly on the ground, his voice miserable, "Grandpa Qingfeng, Ancestor Qingfeng, I, Wang Xiaohu, no! Here, I am Wang Little Dog. I will never dare again."

Wang Xiaohu was already covered in blood from Li Qingfeng's beating.

Seeing his face bruised and battered, Li Qingfeng felt some of his anger dissipate.

Hearing his pleas, Li Qingfeng waved his hand, ignoring him. Wang Xiaohu, scrambling like a kicked dog, fled the clinic.

What Li Qingfeng didn't see was the venomous glint in Wang Xiaohu's eyes as he crawled away.

...

After Wang Xiaohu left, Pan Xiaolian finally let go of Li Qingfeng.

He couldn't help but lower his head.

Then, two streams of blood gushed from Li Qingfeng's nose uncontrollably.

"Ah! Qingfeng, you're bleeding!"

Pan Xiaolian shrieked and quickly looked for paper to wipe his nose, but for some reason, the bleeding only worsened. She was terrified.

Finally, out of options, Li Qingfeng snatched the tissue and stuffed his nostrils, finally stopping the flow.

However, his gaze never left Pan Xiaolian.

Initially, Pan Xiaolian was confused. Only after seeing Li Qingfeng's nosebleed stop did she belatedly lower her head.

"Ah!"

A scream echoed through the clinic, startling Li Qingfeng.

Pan Xiaolian quickly ran into the inner room and locked the door. Looking at her nearly torn clothes, she was so embarrassed that her earlobes turned red.

Her clothes had slipped somewhat due to her excited running.

Seeing this, she became even more shy.

"How embarrassing! Fortunately, Qingfeng is still a child," she thought to herself.

At this moment, she didn't even notice the change in Li Qingfeng compared to before.

After changing into new clothes, she opened the door to find Li Qingfeng scaling fish in the kitchen.

Seeing Pan Xiaolian emerge, Li Qingfeng's lips curved into a gentle smile. He said, "Aunt Pan is out. Get ready, and I'll let you taste my cooking soon!"

"Huh?"

Pan Xiaolian's mind went blank. It took a while for her to register.

Disbelievingly, she grabbed Li Qingfeng's shoulders and looked up into his eyes, which were incredibly bright.

There was no trace of dullness, no unmoving pupils; only a vibrant, lively spirit.

"Wuwuwu!"

Pan Xiaolian covered her face and sobbed, hugging Li Qingfeng.

"Qingfeng, you're finally awake, Qingfeng, your grandfather's spirit has blessed you!"

Hearing Pan Xiaolian's words, Li Qingfeng was deeply moved. He and his grandfather had depended on each other since childhood. He had gotten into Huaqing University to provide a better life for his grandfather.

Unexpectedly, a series of misfortunes had thwarted his plans.

Li Qingfeng slowly hugged Pan Xiaolian, gently patting her back with his right hand.

"It's okay, Aunt Pan, everything will pass. Our family will get better!"

After a long time, Pan Xiaolian's emotions finally calmed down, and Li Qingfeng breathed a sigh of relief.

Then, Pan Xiaolian prepared dinner. Li Qingfeng had intended to help her, but she shooed him out of the kitchen.

Subsequently, Pan Xiaolian took over the task of scaling fish. She asked Li Qingfeng to get the yellow wine that had been stored for a long time in the clinic, and they would have a drink together.
