Chapter 337: Chapter 336: Going out of the base for another mission
"Well, your power works in that the stronger the output, the stronger the attack, so it couldn’t be helped that your energy was used up fast."
"Yeah, that’s why I’m already controlling my powers so that they could be more efficient and won’t waste too much energy. However, at my current stage, it’s not yet enough, so I need to continue controlling it well.
I also need to practice using my abilities to stay afloat in the air. I need to do more, and the time seems to be not enough. Thankfully, we still have our space."
"Indeed. It’s really very helpful."
Treyton had to master two of his powers, so the time he needed is longer than the others. Thankfully, they have their space with them—that’s why Treyton was able to grow stronger than the others even though he had dual abilities.
Luciel was also using it for his daily training, so he had more time to watch movies and play games before.
"I haven’t sparred with you today yet. Let’s go and spar for a while," Luciel said and entered their space, and Treyton also followed afterward.
They had also been sparring in their space for the past few days whenever it was already time to rest. So when they entered their space, the two of them immediately picked up their weapons and started their spar.
Both of them continued sparring until both of them knew that they were nearly out of energy. The area in their space was wider than the training room in their villa, so both of them were able to fight more freely, as they had more space to move in.
They also didn’t have to be worried about other things. That’s why both of them were able to fight until they wanted to and then stopped for another deeper exchange with their bodies and not just clashing with their weapons.
In the past few days, when they were sparring in their space, they would always leave enough energy for them to do something else.
Their spars would always end with a deeper exchange in bed, as both would consistently provoke each other’s interest near the end of their matches. They were both good at observing each other, and having sparred for a long time, they knew when the other was nearly out of energy.
When they sensed the fight nearing its end, they’d arouse each other’s desire. Treyton usually started it with a teasing provocation, and Luicel, not wanting to lose, would naturally respond.
They had been together for a few months, knowing each other’s bodies very well. Because of this, near the end of their spars, they could easily provoke each other’s interest with intentional and teasing touches.
In the end, they would always wind up in their bed, a routine that had developed over the past few days. After a spar and another satisfying, pleasurable exchange, both would finally rest in their space before going out to their bedroom.

In the morning, Luciel woke up earlier than usual without needing Treyton to wake him.
When he went downstairs, all the team members were already gathered in the living room, doing final checks on the things they would bring individually and the items they would be storing in Theo’s space.
This time, everyone was going out of the base, and no one was being left behind, so Luciel saw all of them there.
Since the kids were also auxiliary members, they had to come with the group, especially because they hadn’t joined the last group mission except for Theo.
Treyton had explained before that auxiliary members needed to join the team on outside missions every two or three months. But since the duration of each group mission was very long and was also around two to three months, Treyton had already said that the kids only needed to come along every other long mission, not every single one.
So, this time, all the kids were dressed appropriately for traveling outside the base.
As Luciel looked at them, he noticed Nash among the group. He turned to Nathan and asked, "Nash is also going with us out of the base?"
Unlike the other kids, who had all their parents or guardians as full members of the team and relied on the team for support, Nash was different.
Nathan and Nolan were indeed members of the team, so Nash is qualified to be an auxiliary member of the team, but Nash also had his grandparents and aunt, who held stable jobs within the base.
Because of that, Nash wasn’t fully supported by the team and wasn’t considered an auxiliary member. He simply spent a lot of time with Ashlee and the others since Nathan and Nolan were often busy with training.
With his own family to support him, Nash wasn’t actually required to go out of the base at all like the auxiliary members of the team.
"Yes," Nathan replied. "He said he wanted to go, just like Ashlee and the others. He kept insisting. My parents and sister didn’t agree at first, but they eventually relented.
Of course, they only agreed because they knew the other kids were going too and because they trust the capabilities of the people on the team.
Actually, my parents don’t have much faith in my ability yet, even though they’ve already seen I’m quite strong myself.
But they do trust you and Treyton, especially after seeing you fight during the bird attack. So they didn’t have strong objections about Nash joining us."
"I see. Well, it’s also good for Nash to go out and experience what it’s like beyond the base," Luciel said.
"Yeah," Nathan nodded. "That’s also why I didn’t stop him when he insisted on coming.
It’s good for him to see what the other kids have also seen, to witness a lot of zombies and other dangers outside with his own eyes, so that he’ll be more motivated to grow stronger.
Because unlike the other kids, his interest in training and becoming stronger was only ignited after seeing you spar with Treyton."
