Unbearable Explanation

Because Mary's emotional intelligence was outrageously high, no awkward situations arose on the scene, and the matter was smoothly brushed aside with laughter.

Hans also knew that Parma had gone a bit too far. After all, they were filming a show, and making such jokes with female guests was somewhat inappropriate.

Hans smiled and said, "Of course, but it requires the agreement of both parties. Also, this is the early stage of the program, and we only allow same-sex pairings for this."

This statement effectively countered Parma's earlier remark on behalf of Mary.

Hans then looked at Mary and continued, "Mary, who do you want to share a room with?"

Anna.

Su Yang thought to himself. Mary and Anna were together. Earlier, when Su Yang observed them, their relationship seemed quite close. However, the task of finding the required items was a solo activity, so whoever understood these things better would have a higher chance of success. Although Mary was not American, she grew up in the countryside and was quite familiar with such matters. Anna was a national-level principal dancer. While not a celebrity, achieving such a position at her age undoubtedly meant she had been training since childhood. However, constant training from a young age often led to a pampered upbringing, meaning less exposure to nature and thus less proficiency in this particular aspect. Therefore, Su Yang and Charlie were the last two, but Su Yang noticed that Anna was third from last. Mary's question to Hans was because she had seen the less desirable rooms and knew that Anna would likely end up in one of them, which was why she was asking Hans. Mary wanted to provide Anna with a better living environment.

Mary heard Hans's words and smiled, saying, "I don't know. The rooms haven't even been chosen yet. What if the person I want to help picks a good room? Then I won't need to."

Mary's intention was quite clear; she didn't want to explicitly state who she wanted to help. However, this led some less astute individuals to overthink.

"Mary, you're not thinking of helping Su Yang, are you?" George shouted from the side, and then burst into laughter. This laughter plunged the scene into another wave of awkward chuckles.

Suddenly being called out, Su Yang was speechless. George's behavior struck Su Yang as incredibly childish. Su Yang had no intention of engaging.

George, however, continued, "If nothing unexpected happens, that shabby tent is probably Su Yang's. Mary's first impression was good for Su Yang, so Mary doesn't want to share a room with Su Yang, what does she want?" As he spoke, George let out a particularly nauseating laugh.

The female guests were fine, treating it as a boring joke and just chuckling. But for some reason, it hit a comedic nerve with the male guests, who kept laughing, making Su Yang's temper flare up quickly.

"Didn't Hans just say only same-sex pairings are allowed? Even if Miss Mary wanted to help me, she couldn't. Besides, the person Miss Mary wants to help isn't me, but the female guest over there." Su Yang, unable to tolerate it any longer, explained on Mary's behalf.

Mary was already annoyed by George's remarks, but upon hearing Su Yang's words, she immediately felt better. Mary looked at Su Yang and gave him a grateful glance. This was their second exchange of glances that day.

After Su Yang spoke, George fell silent. Hans had signaled to George, indicating that he had gone too far and was steering the program in an undesirable direction. Therefore, Hans had to stop George.

In fact, not all the male guests were amused. After hearing George's words, Parma's gaze towards Su Yang became even more venomous. His first impression had been good for Mary, so anything related to Mary, but not to him, made Parma uncomfortable. Parma's gaze at Su Yang was extremely malicious, but Su Yang completely ignored it.

"Su Yang is right. I don't want to live with you stinky men. Of course, I want to find a sweet girl to share my nice room with." Mary smiled as she spoke, greatly alleviating the awkwardness of the situation.

Upon hearing Mary's words, Hans jokingly added, "That's right, that's right. How can you stinky men who just came out of the jungle live with us sweet girls?"

Hearing Hans's words, some of the male guests protested, "Hans, you're a man too, you're stinky too?"

Hans sniffed himself and shook his head, frowning, "I actually could use a shower." He then pointed to the scorching sun in the sky and said, "The weather is great today. The sun is very strong, and I've been out in it for a long time, sweating profusely. Now, let's quickly proceed with the program, and after that, everyone can go to their rooms and take a nice bath."

After speaking, Hans glanced mischievously at Su Yang and added, "By the way, the villas with less desirable environments have only three bathrooms and showers. The room on the balcony has no en-suite facilities and needs to borrow from the villa."

Su Yang had already anticipated this, but he thought to himself, what does this have to do with me? He had an independent bathroom and a garden balcony. Su Yang felt that this best room, apart from lacking a swimming pool, was otherwise excellent.

"Then the last-place person can only pray to God for a lot of rain so they can take a shower in the rain, hahaha!" George, still being obnoxious, chimed in. After George finished speaking, the male guests erupted in laughter again.

Su Yang found George's behavior incredibly amusing now. He wondered if George would physically attack him if Su Yang used his props later to force a room change. Despite the numerous cameras, Su Yang felt that given George's character, he was truly capable of such an act. Su Yang was somewhat worried.

This was only the first day of filming, and not even a full day had passed. Su Yang hadn't had the chance to properly showcase the excellent traditional culture of Longguo, and he couldn't let the program be terminated. Glancing at the arrogant George, Su Yang sighed inwardly. Why did he have to encounter such guests? But since he had, there was nothing he could do. Su Yang was now waiting for the results to be announced so he could thoroughly humiliate George and the others. He was determined to get back double the frustration he had endured from George.

Hans also burst into laughter upon hearing Su Yang's words, but he quickly realized he couldn't laugh; he needed to maintain control. "The guests living in the tents can return to the villa to shower; that shouldn't be a problem. If it rains, our filming will be somewhat affected, so let's pray to God not to rain." Hans's underlying meaning was that those in the tents shouldn't shower. Hans knew very well that they would initially be too embarrassed to ask to use the rooms for showering. Su Yang understood the hidden meanings in their words, but he didn't care. Quarreling with these people would only lower his own status.
