Yuan Kui stepped back a few paces, gathering strength. The muscles in his arms writhed as if alive.
Su Yang exhaled. "To show respect for the strong, I, Su, will not hold back!"
"As it should be!"
Yuan Kui grinned and launched a dual-fisted assault.
The air whistled as his fists flew.
—Bang bang bang!
Su Yang countered with the Tai Chi Five Forms Fist. The collisions of his fists, large and small, produced deafening roars.
"Not enough! Far from enough!"
Yuan Kui laughed heartily, his fists transforming into claws as he lunged for Su Yang's neck.
As they had agreed, this fight would spare no effort.
"Then try my new move!"
Su Yang retreated, his aura exploding. A black and white pattern appeared beneath his feet.
Yuan Kui squinted. "What is this?"
Two fish swam on the ground, the black one with white eyes, the white one with black eyes, lifelike.
This was from the martial arts manual Su Yang had snatched from Xu Zhizhong in Jinling some time ago.
One was "Qi Jin Gong" (Energy Force Technique), the other "Tai Chi Bagua Zhang" (Eight Trigram Palm).
Yuan Kui's eyes widened. "What is this thing?"
They were clearly two fish, yet they felt like two sharks, exuding an imposing aura.
"Tai Chi gives birth to two forms! This is the Two Forms style, Black and White Trigrams!"
Su Yang himself was a bit bewildered. He remembered Xu Zhizhong's energy cultivation diagrams, not fish.
After his initial surprise, Yuan Kui narrowed his eyes. "Come on, try my fists. Are your fish stronger?"
Yuan Kui attacked first. Su Yang stepped back with his right leg, his waist and palm exerting force simultaneously.
The two fish spun rapidly, biting at Yuan Kui's fists.
—Bang bang bang!
The collision of fists and the two fish exploded, kicking up clouds of dust.
After a while, the dust settled, and the smoke dispersed.
Yuan Kui looked at his fists in disbelief. Blood streamed from his fingers, leaving behind countless teeth marks.
"How is this possible? My fists can't even be pierced by a blade, how could they be bitten by two fish?"
The Tai Chi Two Forms diagram beneath Su Yang's feet gradually vanished. The broken fish reformed under the guidance of Qi Jin Gong.
"Nothing is impossible!"
Yuan Kui no longer dared to be careless. He shook the blood from his fists and continued his assault.
"Two forms give birth to four symbols!"
As Su Yang countered with his palms, the pattern on the ground transformed into the four divine beasts: Azure Dragon, White Tiger, Vermilion Bird, and Black Tortoise.
The Black Tortoise, with its turtle body and snake head, used its thick shell to block Yuan Kui's fists.
The White Tiger opened its gaping maw and lunged for Yuan Kui's waist.
"Hiss… What is this now?"
Yuan Kui winced in pain and punched at the White Tiger biting his waist.
Then, the Azure Dragon and Vermilion Bird, soaring in mid-air, simultaneously clawed at Yuan Kui's head and body.
"Ah…"
Accompanied by Yuan Kui's scream, blood splattered from his face and chest, leaving behind horrifying, deep claw marks.
Yuan Kui supported himself on the ground with one hand, panting heavily.
The other four D-class prisoners gripped their iron bars tightly, their eyes filled with shock.
One-Eyed Tyrant muttered, "Yuan Kui's fists can move mountains, and he lost to a child?"
Hans Locke shook his head. "I don't understand your Dragon Country's martial arts, but I can see that the Four Divine Beasts are incredibly powerful..."
Mo Gaowei clenched his fists. "If it were me, my hands would probably be broken. The destructive power of these divine beasts is beyond human capability!"
The Poison Master, Shen Qiu, also shook his head. "My poisons couldn't even take down Yuan Kui, he certainly wouldn't fall so quickly!"
As expected, Yuan Kui pushed himself up from the ground.
He roared at the sky several times, laughing maniacally. "Hahaha, exhilarating, truly exhilarating!"
Yuan Kui touched the blood on his face and licked it with his tongue.
"Ever since I fought with the Poison Master and the others a few years ago, I haven't experienced such a flow of blood in a long time."
Yuan Kui looked at Su Yang. "Deputy Director, to repay you, I will go all out!"
With that, Yuan Kui's massive body slightly bent, and an invisible aura made the air tremble.
The concrete slab beneath Yuan Kui's feet cracked, and a deep fissure shot towards Su Yang.
"Is this the full power of a D-class prisoner? It lives up to its reputation!"
Su Yang glanced sideways. Warden Qin Li and the soldiers had already retreated to Zone C.
"Deputy Director, Yuan's fists and feet have no eyes. You must be careful."
Yuan Kui roared, his figure flickering as his fist appeared directly in front of Su Yang.
—Bang bang bang!
The Four Divine Beasts, transformed from Qi Jin Gong, were instantly shattered into dust.
"Four symbols give birth to eight trigrams!"
An Eight Trigram diagram appeared beneath Su Yang's feet as he countered with his palms.
His palms and Yuan Kui's fists collided repeatedly, the powerful shockwaves creating a strong gust of wind that surged in all directions.
The four D-class prisoners watching could not open their eyes and had to grip their bars to stabilize themselves.
Su Yang stepped forward with his left foot and struck Yuan Kui's waist with his palm.
Yuan Kui cried out in pain and retaliated with a punch aimed at Su Yang's right temple.
—Clang!
Su Yang ducked, and Yuan Kui's fist smashed through a solid iron pillar over ten centimeters thick.
Just as he had said, this place couldn't hold him.
Qian, Zhen, Kan, Gen, Kun, Xun, Li, Dui.
Su Yang stepped on the character "Qian" and the next moment, he appeared above Yuan Kui, striking down with his palm.
"Mmmph…"
Yuan Kui had no time to defend and took Su Yang's palm directly. Blood flowed down his shiny head, across his face, and onto the ground.
Yuan Kui's face contorted, his pupils turning blood red.
"Kill, kill, kill…"
Yuan Kui swung his fists wildly, stomping on the characters of the Eight Trigram diagram beneath his feet, trying to disrupt Su Yang's rhythm.
"Kun!"
Su Yang lightly tapped the character "Kun" and struck Yuan Kui's neck with his palm.
With a "crack," Yuan Kui's head tilted, and he fell to the ground.
Yuan Kui struggled to reach up and touch his neck. His neck was broken.
"Deputy Director, I lost."
Su Yang exhaled a breath of turbid air, withdrew his palms, and the diagram beneath his feet disappeared.
The four D-class prisoners stared, disbelieving that Yuan Kui would concede.
Qin Li and the others, unable to hear the sounds of fighting, rushed back with their men.
At first glance, Yuan Kui was face down on the ground, blood flowing from his bald head.
"Deputy Director, you won?"
Qin Li rubbed his eyes, unable to believe there was anyone in the world who could defeat Yuan Kui.
"What's so surprising?"
Su Yang said indifferently, then knelt on the ground.
"Yuan Kui, you lost. From now on, you will follow me!"
"Rest assured, Deputy Director. While Yuan Kui is not a saint, he is not one to break his word!"
"Very good!"
Su Yang took out the Tai Xuan Life-Extending Needles and inserted a few into Yuan Kui's bald head and neck.
Feeling a warm, itchy sensation at his wounds, Yuan Kui was even more shocked.
"I didn't expect you to be a physician as well."
Warden Qin Li said proudly, "Big guy, the Deputy Director is a divine doctor. He can cure even idiots. Your injuries are nothing!"
Yuan Kui sighed. "Fine, from now on, I, Yuan, will follow the Deputy Director!"
Yuan Kui looked up at the four prisoners. "What about you lot?"
The men exchanged glances. Since even Yuan Kui had lost, what else could they say?
"Boss Yuan, we'll follow you."
Yuan Kui gave a wry smile. "Don't call me boss. The Deputy Director is our boss!"
