Chapter 31: Mysterious Shooter
After putting some physics equipment into medium cardboard boxes, Julian and Silica carried the boxes, each carrying one, and then they walked to class. Arriving in front of the classroom door, Silica, who was standing to Julian’s left, asked
"Have you finished your English assignment?" Silica asked.
"Yes, I made a simple design, so it’s quicker finished" Julian replied.
"Good, then let’s go in," Silica said politely.
"Okay" Julian replied.
The two of them entered the classroom and walked to the teacher’s desk. Once there, they set down the boxes containing the physics equipment. Then, Silica turned to the front and said:
"Mr. Andri will be in here soon, so don’t leave the classroom unless it’s important and don’t make too much noise!" Silica said firmly.
"Alright!" all the students of class 11-M replied.
Julian, who was to Silica’s left, asked Silica for permission to go to the restroom.
"I’m going to the restroom first, okay?, If the teacher comes, please tell him that I’m going to the restroom" Julian said to Silica.
"Want me to accompany you?" Silica asked with a mischievous expression.
Julian was surprised to hear that and immediately replied.
"A-are you stupid, of course not!" Julian replied with an embarrassed expression and a firm tone, his cheeks slightly red.
After saying that, Julian quickly left the classroom.
"Ahahaha, his face is so cute when he’s embarrassed" Silica said to herself with chuckling as she watched Julian leave.
Arriving at the second-floor restroom, Julian entered one of the stalls. After urinating, he exited the stall and washed his hands in the sink. Just as he was about to look in the mirror, suddenly—
"Click!" the handgun’s hammer was cocked back, ready to fire.
"Are you Omega Julian?" a man asked in a deep voice, aiming a handgun at the right side of Julian’s head.
"C-colt python?!" Julian thought with a tense expression as he glanced at the handgun.
Julian swallowed hard and answered.
"Y-yes" Julian replied, glancing back.
But when he tried to look back, the man pressed the handgun to Julian’s head.
"Don’t look back, I have a question for you" the man said.
Julian was shocked and asked
"W-what is that?" Julian asked with a shocked expression.
"First, are you Lady Anindya’s boyfriend?" the man asked.
"Y-yes" Julian replied.
"Okay, second, what is your purpose in dating Lady Anindya?" the man asked.
"Lady?!," Julian asked in himself with narrowing his eyes.
"Is she one of Anindya’s bodyguards?" Julian kept asking himself.
"Why are you so quiet?! Hurry up and answer!" the man said firmly.
"I-I started dating her because I lost a game..." Julian said in a low but clear voice.
The man looked annoyed, pressing the tip of his handgun firmly against Julian’s head.
"YOU BASTARD!!, SO YOU’RE TOYING WITH LADY ANINDYA’S FEELINGS, HAH!?" the man shouted in an irritated tone.
"W-wait, you’ve misunderstood!" Julian said quickly.
"WHAT’S THE MISUNDERSTANDING, HAH?!" the man asked in a deep voice.
"S-seriously, let me explain first!" Julian said, glancing behind him.
"THERE’S NOTHING TO EXPLAIN, I’LL JUST SHOT YOUR HEAD!" the man shouted.
He slowly pulled the trigger, but before he could, Julian immediately ducked his head and ran out of the restroom. The man, startled, looked toward the restroom exit and exclaimed
"AH! DAMN, I let my guard down!" the man said in annoyance.
The man quickly exited the restroom and chased after Julian.
"HEY, WAIT, YOU BASTARD!!" the man shouted.
Seeing Julian was superior in running, made the man annoyed and said
"Tch! He’s so fast, if this keeps up, I’ll have to..." the man said with an annoyed expression, pointing his handgun at the running Julian.
"BANG! BANG! BANG!" a gunshot rang out.
Three bullets were fired, but Julian quickly dodged the shots and ran to the first floor.
"Tch!, Damn it, he dodged again!" the man said with an annoyed expression.
"Da-damn it, he’s so brave!" Julian muttered in panic as he ran down the stairs.
Gunshots echoed throughout the hallways of the main building. In Anindya’s classroom, her three classmates sitting nearby looked out the window, but because the curtains were tightly drawn, they couldn’t see anything outside. This was done so that students sitting near the windows could focus on the blackboard and not look outside.
"What was that sound just now?" Desy asked with a shocked expression.
"Was it a gunshot?" Delima asked with a confused expression.
"Maybe someone’s playing a fps game?" Wulan replied, working on a group assignment.
Anindya with a shocked expression, looked over at her bodyguard’s seat. Her bodyguard still hadn’t returned from the restroom, which made her suspicious, so she spoke to her friends.
"A-Ahh! I just remembered I was called by Ms. Lia" Anindya said, rising from her seat.
"What have you been doing?" Desy asked.
"Eh, I-I did... did..." Anindya said, deep in thought, her eyes shifting nervously from side to side.
Not knowing the reason, Anindya ended up walking away while saying,
"... I-I forgot, anyway, Ms. Lia called me earlier. I’ve done my part, and I’ll leave the rest to you guys, okay?" Anindya said, starting to walk hurriedly out of the classroom.
Her three friends could only stare at her with confused expressions.
Meanwhile, in class, Julian heard the gunshots.
"W-what was that?!" Kaza said in a panicked tone.
"Gunshots?" Anto asked.
"It must have been someone playing a war game" Damar said.
"Your head!, the sound was very clear" Agus said.
"Our princess, come look outside" Januar said with a mocking expression and tone toward Silica.
"You idiot!, A man should be the one checking that!" Silica replied with an annoyed expression and tone.
"Go check it out, Joyce" Ravi said.
"E-ehh!? Don’t, not me!" Joyce said, firmly refusing.
Wiro, who saw that, could only sigh, then said
"Haa... Let me check it out" Wiro said.
Wiro stood up and walked toward the exit, his female fans shouting.
"Kyaa~! Wiro is so manly!" shouted one of the female students in the classroom.
Wiro waved and smiled at his fans, while his friends teased him.
"King Wiro, fight!" Joyce said in a mischievous tone.
"Don’t forget to dodge!" Dimas said in a mischievous tone.
"We’re way behind you, Wiro, way, way behind you!" Kaza said in a mischievous tone.
"SHUT UP YOU, GUYS!" Wiro shouted, starting to get annoyed with his friends.
His friends burst out laughing, enjoying Wiro’s annoyed expression. However, as soon as Wiro’s hand touched the door handle, the atmosphere fell silent. All eyes were on him, both hopeful and anxious.
Slowly, Wiro opened the door. He poked his head out slightly. His gaze swept the hallway, searching for the source of the sound. Turning out there was no one there, he turned around and said to his friends.
"There’s nothing here, guys" Wiro said.
The class was relieved and expressed gratitude.
"Alhamdulillah~... Thank God~" said each student in the class.
"I told you it was someone playing a games, but you’re still stubborn" Damar said.
"That’s just your luck, Damar" Dimas said.
All the students returned to their normal activities. Wiro, still at the door, could only sigh and walk towards his friends who were behind.
Meanwhile, Julian has now arrived at the park and is hiding behind a tree located on the right side.
"COME OUT, YOU BASTARD!" the man shouted.
Julian peeked out again and saw that the man holding the handgun was Sagara Darmia (175 cm). He recognized him because Sagara had a unique characteristic: light blue hair and handsome face.
"Sagara?!" Julian asked himself with a surprised expression as he glanced at Sagara.
When Julian tried to peek again, Sagara spotted Julian. Sagara saw half of Julian’s body.
"YOU’RE THERE!" Sagara shouted, shooting straight at Julian.
Julian was shocked and tried to dodge, but unfortunately, one bullet grazed Julian’s left arm.
"OUCH!!, That really hurts!" Julian said to himself, holding back the pain.
Julian didn’t dare glance out of the tree, as he was being showered with bullets.
"Haa... Th-thank God I wasn’t wearing my alma mater jacket!" Julian said to himself, enduring the pain.
Soon, the bullets ran out.
"Tch! Damn it!" Sagara said, his expression filled with annoyance.
Sagara quickly took a bullet from his pants pocket. As he reloaded, Julian seized the opportunity, quickly emerged from his hiding place and ran towards Sagara. He tackled him.
"THUD!" they both fell to the ground.
Sagara’s handgun also fell behind him. Julian hugged Sagara’s stomach tightly, Sagara squirmed and said
"YOU BASTARD! LET GO OF ME!" Sagara shouted, squirming.
"No way!" Julian replied firmly.
"Damn, he’s so strong!" Sagara said to himself.
Sagara gritted his teeth and said,
"Omega Julian! I have an idea!" Sagara said firmly.
Julian was shocked to hear Sagara say that.
